Oh, you dandelions... The film “Cat in a bag can not be called” a masterpiece of Soviet cinema, and in general, G. Shchukin certainly did not claim such praise. Moreover, the film is simple and simple, does not touch on philosophical and serious aesthetic issues, but, nevertheless, this picture, as they say, “hooked” me. . .
This, first of all, is the fault of O. Anofriev, who performs the song “Dandelions”. This simple composition resonates with village lyrics and everyday wisdom, which even surprises you as the hero of Anofriev, who, in general, is a sabbathist and a scammer, can perform such soulful verses.
Secondly, the storyline associated with the hero of B. Brondukov, Tyunkin, in Soviet good, leaves a good mark after watching the film. Perhaps the story of an alcoholic looks naive, for whom local shalopai children decided to arrange fireworks, but I want to believe that Tunkin will return to the village and take the path of correction.
Unfortunately, the love line, without which the film did not do, was blurred. The hero of Sadalsky was also not, as they say, “discovered”, but flashed as an extra against the background of the others. But this does not spoil the whole picture, because the film, in general, looks easy and relaxed.
Probably, my assessment will seem overestimated to someone, but the Cat in the Bag touched me to the core of my soul with its simplicity and faith in good, and of course, a song about dandelions.
