I’ll admit right away, I haven’t seen Groundhog Day, but I’m familiar with the movie. The director watched the movie and was like, ‘Wouldn’t it be fun to make a horror movie like that’ and Jason Bloom pops out of his couch and says, ‘That’s a great idea! Here's four million, shoot!' and ran off looking for other people with great ideas. And the director was like, 'Okay,' and he went to shoot. And here we have this movie. Has it become popular and deserved? I don’t know, but the movie was good.
Plot.
Here is the main character, her birthday, but the maniac, he took a knife and put it down her throat, but she did not die, and got into a time loop and now trying to find out who this maniac is. The plot is good, actions do not happen for nothing, in events that happen to believe (as, it did not sound stupid). Truth is stupid. For example, a maniac does not finish off the main character when she can. Conflict with the father is normal.
Characters.
The main character at first is very infuriating (it is clear why the maniac wanted to kill her), but when she gets into the loop changes for the better. I believe that if I were in her shoes, I would also do something stupid, knowing that the day would restart. The others are normal. They anger those who should infuriate and sympathize with others.
Maniac.
The masked killer. Typical of the "Scream" maniac. But the actor who played it, too suspiciously, played it, that you could immediately recognize him. But the mask is memorable.
Murder.
They're not the most important part here. This is why there are no such things that can be remembered.
Humor.
He borders on, it was funny, before, I feel Spanish shame. I loved the joke about Tim, it was unexpected. But the jokes associated with the bullish personality of the main character were idiotic.
Bottom line.
I liked the movie for the jokes, for the main character and for the well-made plot. If you want to watch a funny slasher with a theme about the time loop, then I recommend watching the film.

The movie "Happy Day of Death" is a comedy horror variation of "Groundhog Day."
The most popular student throws a party in honor of his birthday, but ends with one trouble. The girl dies and falls into a time loop, reliving her birthday and death day after day. The first attempt to survive failed. The second attempt is a collapse, the third attempt is the same. There are countless times.
And it seems to be a good idea for the plot, but the execution clearly pumped. The characters are boring: a stupid blonde, an unpopular guy (who will try to save her) and bitchy neighbors. In fact, this is a tracing from the once popular films: “Groundhog Day”, “Scream”, etc.
The first half of the movie is pretty boring. The heroine gets into the loop, then tries to explain to herself, the guy and the audience what is happening (it looks very stupid, since the same thing is repeated from time to time), and then jumps out of the corner maniac and kills her. That’s how much of the movie goes. The second part is more interesting: the main character abandons attempts to survive and tries to find out the identity of the maniac. Such a mini-detective fit well into the plot. But in general, this does not save the picture.
Predictability, cliché and a weak plot - only for these three points the film "Happy Day of Death" deserves a low rating.

I don't usually leave reviews, but it's impossible to pass. I’ve seen both movies, but I’ll try to focus on the first one, only occasionally adding elements to the second one. Such a poor film, praised by the masses, we still need to look. Here you and all the clichés from 40 years ago, and a primitive plot, the ending of which you guess in the middle of the film. But at the same time, the average viewer of the film is crazy, which is amazing.
Let's start in order:
The plot is written by a man who spent his youth in the 80s and grew up on films of this era, which is very, very noticeable in the film. The plot itself is tracing with ' Groundhog Day', this is already obvious to everyone. Characters are typical archetypes from films about students just 80-90-ies: stupid blonde, saving her boyfriend, neighbors bitches, nerds discussing lore ' Star Wars' (they really only appear in the second part, but not the essence). That is, the film is obviously very strongly inspired by the already verified tropes and archetypes of old films.
Why is this a bad thing, the reader will ask. In my opinion, this is bad primarily because the authors rely on viewers who have not seen the films listed above. In fact, the main character is the personification of such a typical near viewer who accidentally wandered into a horror session late at night. Every time Three explains something, they actually explain it to the viewer. For me personally, it looked very stupid and annoying, as if the author was saying: ' I know that the viewer is stupid, so I will explain the obvious things to him'.
Next, about the story itself, which in some places I found quite interesting. The first half of the film I was terribly bored, because knowing the path with an endlessly repeating day is easy to guess what will happen in the next frame. Constantly, Constantly(!!!) I guessed from which side the maniac is now coming out, and in which we are simply frightened and there is no maniac in fact. I really do not know who it is designed for, but the horror film is not just not scary, it is as a film very banal and uninteresting, all actions and dialogues are foreseen in advance. I have not presented horror films for the fact that they are not scary, it is difficult to scare me at all. But the creators have a huge space for experimentation and creativity, but they repeat the same thing from time to time.
Oh, I almost forgot. Our heroine tries a variety of ways to survive (actually repeats the same thing over and over again). But why didn't it ever occur to her to just leave town on the other side of the country? Or lock yourself up with food, water and a watch in a bunker where no one can climb. She could have asked the police for help. Yes, there is a lot to do, because it is enough to live until 00:00 and now it is Tuesday. But she, or rather the writer, likes to die endlessly just half an hour before midnight, without even trying to hold out a little longer. Of course, this is all due to the stupidity of the plot and the fact that it is necessary to somehow stretch the timing.
The most surprising thing is that there are only 2 negative reviews on this site, mine will be the third. People don’t watch a movie if it’s a good movie. For me, it turned out to be below average, although there are some interesting moments in the film, at least some scenes I really remember and even wanted to see the sequel. But endless references to the pop culture of the 80s (here I’m sorry, but I personally have her just eye twitching, and it would be better if the authors did what is happening in the 80s, and not shoved into the modernity, of which there is only an iPhone with a moronic ringtone), cliché characters and a predictable plot is a huge minus.

Movies about the time loop are not uncommon in our time. Now this technique is widely used both in big movies and in various series. Moreover, genres where the main theme is the time loop are diverse. Starting from comedies (“Groundhog Day”), fiction (“Edge of the Future”), ending with horror films (“Limb”). Now the dilogy “Happy Day of Death” has been added to the latter.
Trish wakes up in the room of a stranger on her birthday. Her whole day goes awry, and in the evening, on her way to a party, she is attacked by a masked stranger and killed with a knife. In the morning, as if nothing had happened, Trish wakes up to the same guy again, and all the events of the previous day begin to repeat themselves.
I haven’t really seen anything new for myself. The same time loop from which the main character tries to get out, disrupting the course of repeated events. That’s what happened in almost every movie and TV show I’ve seen. In most cases, the main characters still tried to commit suicide, but here this attempt would look out of place. The film revives the already slightly worn subgenre of horror slashers. As usual - young people, a masked killer, running and screaming. In the best tradition of Scream, with the difference that it’s all repeated countless times, and with one character. Also here clearly traced detective, and a bit comedic, components.
The main disadvantage can be considered small plot holes. The film immediately plunges the main character into the loop of time, and how she got there, and especially why, no one is even going to explain it, or at least hint. There's a lot of those moments. Like a greeting card. Many mysteries remain mysteries.
Also, the film is loaded with completely unnecessary characters and events. There are many scenes with different people who do not affect the plot at all. And in some places they are even confusing. For example, what is the secondary story with the father? Or Dr. Butler. Maybe all this is reflected in the sequel, but it is absolutely unnecessary here.
But the main advantage can be considered an excellent acting work of Jessica Roth. Unlike Bill Murray in Groundhog Day, who was given the opportunity to change the manner of play, from comedic to romantic, Jessica was strictly limited to the genre and could not manipulate it. She did a great job of this and played for the highest score.
In my opinion, the quality of this film depends on whether the creators planned the dilogy in advance, or the sequel was made on the wave of the success of the first part. If you evaluate the whole dilogy, it is good. But if you take as a basis and watch only the first film, there is too much understatement.
It is cool to make unexpected pleasant discoveries among seemingly stupid teenage horror films. Bloomhouse, as usual, made a bet on the script and invested a little money to get the results of an entertaining, quality product that combines a bunch of different subgenres. For that, I candidly respect this studio, which gave the world a lot of amazing and really cool projects. In "Happy Day of Death" mixed thriller, slasher, romantic comedy, detective and a little fiction, borrowed from the legendary "Groundhog Day".
The plot is the best and most important thing for which it is worth loving the film and revisiting it more than once. The film tells the story of a narcissistic beauty, a college student who does not lead the most correct lifestyle. Teresa, or as she is called for short, Three lives from party to party, where she drinks and hangs out with different guys, she has an affair with a married teacher and puts ordinary people in no way. But her beautiful and vibrant life changes when a masked maniac kills her. What's interesting is that after the murder, she relives her birthday. And so day after day, because the killer finds her everywhere and the girl is not able to break this vicious circle. She comes to the aid of a casual acquaintance and together they are looking for a way out of the situation. Finding a killer is not easy, because almost everyone hates a girl.
The second thing that I fell in love with was the characters, especially the main character. It's very, very unconventional. Usually the main character of teenage horrors is a slick and innocent nerd, but Teresa is not. She is a natural bitch, used to taking everything from life and environment. It is all the more interesting to see how her character and priorities change, how she reevaluates her life in a new way. The actress herself is terribly interesting, charismatic, attracts attention and causes sincere sympathy. The other heroes are super. Many of them are voluminous, dialogues are written lively, actions are motivated.
The picture is very lively, dynamic, looks easy, in one breath, making the viewer nervous and fidget in places on the chair. Things are not bad with humor and self-irony. It is clear that the creators approached with soul and imagination. I have watched this film more than once, each time getting a huge pleasure!

A ringed day will not surprise anyone. Moreover, the concept of “Groundhog Day” has already been entrenched in society, regardless of the tape of Harold Ramis in 1993. The mixture of the familiar reception covers this time the main character to arrange a truly unforgettable birthday. The plot to reveal the heroine can be solved immediately, but it is the constant repetitions that bring any changes (cinematic tautology). Based on an understandable situation, the picture begins to play with its colors.
Before us is a university student, who with all her actions builds a negative perception of the viewer. Communication, humiliation, insult and selfishness are all characteristics that allow you to put an end to loyalty, sympathy and understanding, so the roundabout day works on the heroine, creating several storylines. It is nice to watch the constant reaction of others, and self-acceptance occurs through prioritization.
This holiday trail shows the primary cover to later discover humanism. Director Christopher Landon understood that Groundhog Day would not surprise the audience (you can even make angry cheers), so diluting with suspense and a mysterious killer masks predictability. The mystery is well shown, because it is not about sophisticated deaths (or one death in one day), but finding out the motives and finding the killer.
When the viewer is already saturated with the search for salvation, the blanket drags the investigation on itself. The plot lines form a general picture of what is happening, merging into a single result. The film casts doubt on the accidental death, revealing to the heroine the list of suspects. Now, every character you meet in the course of the day can be viewed with suspicion. This is a great move for such a story, because the mystical element describes the danger of the day of death. It is pleasant to observe not only the assumptions and practices of his list of possible participants in the death, but also the changes of the heroine. This was expected, but when elements of positive qualities are gradually introduced, the familiar actions take on a different character, and the primary actions seem strange.
The plot touchily plays with the detective, casting a shadow of doubt on one person, then on another. The first climactic breakthrough serves as a great emotional lift for the viewer, but the surprises do not end there. Due to the killer and the detective basis, the film does not seem to be a copy of Groundhog Day, and the fact that the basis is that, then the picture even jokes about it. Well, expectations were lower than they were in the end. The tape pleasantly surprises, stereotypes change, reveals the characters and forces to show deduction in the search for the killer. The sequel has already been shot. Why? The answer suggests itself, but later we will assess and make a verdict.
That’s a question that audiences can ask themselves when they hear it at the end of the film in the context of a joke, but it’s a joke that has some truth to it.
Surprisingly, this frankly secondary after Groundhog Day movie was fun to watch. I will try to understand why it was so successful.
First, a good idea can be implemented in different ways several times, and it is not boring fans of the genre.
Secondly, Groundhog Day is a classic that a modern young man with unpretentious kinokus can be a bit boring to watch (although I personally recommend), whereas Happy Death Day is basically a dynamic thriller.
The plot is simple: a girl, to put it mildly, not the most pleasant in the treatment of people, wakes up in a dorm at an unfamiliar guy who picked her up at a party & #39; no way & #39; and, regretting, arranged in his room. Then we observe her daily routine and, as intended, begin to wish that someone would punch her in the head. Well, the viewer's desire is the law. But here's the trouble: being killed, she wakes up again there and then.
The third reason for the success of the picture I would call the fact that everything shown in it is very recognizable to the modern young man. Therefore, the conclusions to which the heroine comes affect the heart of the viewer, to whom her image is very familiar. Each of us (or almost all of us) has something in it, and it can be changed.
Finally, I advise you not to follow the timing of the film, then you will be surprised! If you are a lover of detectives... I can't add anything more without spoiling.
I don't know how you live out there without slashers or worse horror movies. They are a great pill for any real virus. Turn on the movie, you see that the characters are worse than yours, enjoy life again!
I longed for the best, no, for the best youth horror films like 'Scream', 'I Know What You Did Last Summer', 'Faculty'... Wealthier than our apartments, drunken parties and, of course, mysterious murders of students. I'm so sorry, yeah. And here it is.
Okay. Movie ' Happy Death Day' (2017).
The main character on his own birthday is cold-bloodedly killed by a type in a navel mask. But fate has prepared her to be stuck in a time loop, and time after time she returns on the day of her death. She has to figure out who the hell killed her, because a bitch like her desperately has many enemies.
This movie smells like popcorn.
It's about Groundhog Day, death and re-education. You cannot become a different person unless you die at least a dozen times.
Everything is in its place: young actors, not yet badly spoiled by Hollywood, suspense in the spirit of the great Ways Craven and quite a thoughtful plot with an unexpected outcome.
I can't remember the last time I laughed, I was afraid, and I shed a tear at the same time. Heroes instantly cause sympathy, comic moments - laughter, and the strange situation of the main character, of course, sympathy. And this is without much tinnitus and lying intestines, notice.
So move quickly to the sofa, cover yourself with a blanket, surround yourself with salty chips and for God's sake see ' Happy Day of Death'!

Phenomenon ' Groundhog Day' in culture in principle, the topic is far from new - if you think about it, you can successfully name a pack of works where this idea was somehow exploited. Even in one of the series 'Supernatural' Sam was stuck in an endless cycle of the same day. And so in 2017, a very interesting project came out on the big screen, which served "Groundhog Day" & #39; under horror sauce - and did it very well.
And the plot of the fable is this - a bitchy girl named Three gets stuck in a cycle of endless Mondays, on her own birthday, and each time the day ends with one - Three becomes the victim of a maniac in a mask. Quite tired of all this, the girl decides to conduct her own investigation and find out who is hiding behind the mask and interrupt the circle of her own deaths.
In principle ' Happy Day of Death' neither as a horror, nor as ' Groundhog Day' offers nothing fundamentally new, but this bundle works perfectly. The film successfully harmonizes in itself and tense moments, and humor, and intimate conversations of the characters. And in principle, the tape is well written and staged, it is interesting to watch what is happening on the screen, and the film does not sag, maintaining the necessary dynamics throughout the entire timekeeping.
It is worth noting the nice characters. Yes, they are cardboard and mostly serve as a background, but still they do not cause rejection, as sometimes happens in youth horror films. In general, even the main character, despite her bitchiness, is not annoying and disposed to herself. Plus there's a nice picture in the movie. There is nothing outstanding in terms of production or camera work here, but everything is done at a quality level.
Of course, it was not without the standard for the genre ' Groundhog Day' morality - treat everyone well, do not be a bastard and everything like that. The twist with the identity of the killer also turned out to be good and unpredictable, albeit a little pulled by the ears.
Overall - 'Happy Death Day' it's a good film, perfectly playing a mix of genres. It is interesting to watch and even review. And also the movie stock funny reference to the original ' Groundhog Day' with Bill Murray.
There’s probably no movie lover who hasn’t watched Groundhog Day, in which Bill Murray’s character falls into a time loop and is forced to live the same day over and over again. The film became a classic, and many attempts to replicate the success of Groundhog Day were never successful, except for some high-profile hits. And now on the screens of cinemas and home TV comes “Happy Day of Death” – one of the most successful attempts to use the plot of “Groundhog Day” with a cross between “Scream”.
The time loop that Trish falls into falls on her birthday. Waking up after a stormy party in a men's dorm, she seems ready for another day of her quite ordinary life, except that around the corner she has long been watched by a masked maniac, ready to inflict a fatal stabbing.
Waking up again and again after her death, she tries to comprehend both the mystery of the masked killer and the reason for being in a time loop.
Happy Death Day is the original slasher, which clearly traces the influence of two very good films that have won an army of fans and fans. Naturally, it is almost impossible to guess who is the mysterious masked killer, and if possible, then you have the real makings of a detective with impressive work experience.
Actors and actresses perfectly fit into their roles, where Jessica Roth deserves a separate word, who played the role of the main character. The role that falls to her is not just the role of a victim, but a transitional stage from understanding the short-sightedness of one’s own life to its value, realizing the importance of letting go of the past and living the present. Jessica fit perfectly into the role. On the one hand, at the beginning of the film, we see a near blonde, a lover of loud parties, in the end – a strong girl, ready to fight for her own fate and the fate of loved ones. Although this move looks pretty standard, Jessica made a positive impression with her performance.
A beautiful and unconventional sample of slasher, which, unfortunately or fortunately, more black comedy than, in fact, horror.

' Happy Death Day' undoubtedly refreshes the cinematic spirit, sometimes even causes longing for the good old 'Scream' Wes Craven, slightly clumsily reworking and adapting the theme of the time loop in the manner of entertaining, youthful horror. Of course, in terms of art, the picture does not stand up to criticism, but it does not try to seem like something more. After all, between the painting by Harold Ramis ' Groundhog Day' (1993) and this craft is a very large chasm. Fortunately, Christopher Landon did not deprive his brainchild of self-irony, in every possible way shielding himself from any attacks from the audience and film critics.
It all begins when a young and dissolute student, as she should, wakes up after last night’s hangover at a local university dormitory. The viewer is immediately given to understand that morality and chastity she is clearly deprived. Allegedly, she went into all seriousness, because she can not digest the loss of her beloved mother, her own mother. By the evening, when she was already going to go to another party, the girl was overtaken by an unknown maniac in a baby mask and killed. And so, time after time, she experiences the same day, by the end of which she finds herself in the clutches of a ruthless killer. Now she needs to untangle this tangle to understand what is ' the detractor' she is pursuing and why she was stuck in this day, which also coincided with her birthday.
This was beautifully played in the relatively recent science fiction film with Tom Cruise & #39; Edge of the Future' (2014). If you pay attention to the same ' Groundhog Day' and ' Edge of the Future' you can see how the protagonists grow and develop, discover hidden sides. In this film, this does not happen, the heroine just plays to the public and rebuilds depending on the situation. Yes, the actress for the main role was picked up quite spectacular, Jessica Roth feels at home. But all this masquerade with her adventures does not lead to anything whole. A specific sodium from Christopher Landon does not work everywhere and not in everything, but is a product used. A good option for an evening session, when you do not want to do anything and just need to relax after a busy day. But the picture is more suitable for the younger generation, from 16 to 18 years.

This is the first time I've heard of director Landon and his co-writer Lobdell. They seem to have nothing remarkable in their portfolio, so it seems to me that ' Happy Death Day' a purely studio project, for which you should not look for individual authors. And yet, somehow miraculously it seemed a faceless picture suddenly shoots.
I tried to watch this movie the year it came out. Then the main character and her surroundings caused disgust, and I did not waste time. However, the other day, I spontaneously turned on the film again to relax and have fun in the evening. Who would have thought the movie was a pleasure!
Instead of the disgust that I experienced for the first time, now I looked at the characters with a smile, and the story of the main character still penetrated. Jessica Roth's Trish is so cute! And the further you look at her character, the more you like her.
And in general, it seems to me that the actors were selected, albeit simple in appearance, but clearly falling into their images. Even secondary roles, like a girl collecting signatures in the dorm yard. These naive ugly girls, who sincerely believe in the virtue of green movements, are not often found in our lives. But hell two, when you meet them, they look exactly like this movie! And girls like Trish’s girlfriends probably filled the Earth with themselves.
Sometimes people confuse horror movies like 'Alien' or 'Space' with science fiction. This time I thought that ' Happy Death Day' horror. But I was wrong, there is nothing about horror, and it is not scary at all. The film stands somewhere on the fringes of genres between thriller and comedy. On the one hand, there are episodes where the situation gets very heated, and you look, biting your fingers, and on the other, the narrative is very light and fun. And this contrast does not spoil the film, but on the contrary makes it saturated.
On the general background of modern genre paintings ' Happy Death Day' I thought similar to old films. Not in terms of style, but in terms of script. I don’t know how to explain it in two words... After watching, many people probably have a question about how it works. This is how the time loop works in this movie, and where did it come from? But this movie is not about the time loop! And ' Groundhog Day' it wasn't about the time loop either! Many movies about bank robberies are not about bank robberies. And some modern horror movies, like ' Quiet Place', are also not about blind aliens who have taken over the planet. But in films like 'Alien' the monster is just the main character, and there such questions are appropriate.
In general ' Happy Death Day' the film is cool, not genre (at the same time and not author), the characters in it are alive, the script is professional. I was very happy after watching, and I will definitely look again, especially since I missed some details.
Modern cinema is almost entirely built on cliches and cliches. Original ideas have become very rare, and they are also based on standard artistic techniques. The success of the film in this case depends on the ability of the author to competently present the viewer with repetitive motives and artistic moves. American producer Jason Bloom made a name for himself on low-budget horror films, which received a warm welcome from the audience and film critics, and also with great success were at the box office. This picture has become one of the most successful projects of the studio, as evidenced by a high rating and a large number of positive reviews.
The picture is based on a well-known motif about a recurring day or a time loop. The main character is forced to live the same day over and over again. This technique is very often used in world culture and is often very weak, but not this time. The authors masterfully combine elements of Groundhog Day with a classic slasher, showing a familiar story from a completely unexpected side. The tape balances at the junction of several genre directions. This is a youth horror film about a serial killer, a mystical thriller with elements of a detective, as well as an ironic black comedy and even a melodrama. The author managed to make a very inventive film, which retains a strong intrigue and at the same time amuses the audience well.
On the one hand, we are shown an entertaining story about a girl forced to survive her own death at the hands of a mysterious killer, forced to deal not only with irrational events, but also to conduct her own investigation. And this is a really famously twisted story in which the intrigue is sustained until the finale. And on the other hand, this is to some extent the history of self-knowledge, by the will of fate, the main character is forced to realize herself, rethink her behavior and actions. This is a moralizing parable.
The film was made very qualitatively and technically. Dynamic editing, excellent camera work and a cheerful soundtrack do not let you get bored. The atmosphere of the tape resembles the best examples of the genre, especially the cult youth slasher "Scream", this further contributes to the audience's immersion.
The main role was played by a young actress Jessica Roth. This is definitely an important step in her career. Thanks to her charm and unsurpassed charisma, she masterfully captures the audience’s attention. She perfectly got used to the image of a rather cynical and selfish person, but this is only at first glance. In the course of the action, we see the transformation of the main character, which shows a fragile and cute girl with her inner problems.
Happy Death Day is an inventive, intelligent, exciting and entertaining film, successfully working both as a classic slasher and black comedy. At the same time, using the battered time loop motif in an original way and rethinking standard clichés. The picture makes a good impression and is great for evening viewing. I definitely recommend it.
Trish is pretty, she has a lot of girlfriends, she lives in the most popular campus for college girls and can hit any guy. Instead of studying, she prefers parties, follows the figure and doesn’t care about the environment of the lower class. As you can see, Trish is a typical young bitch who doesn’t care what people think of her, but once everything changed!
Waking up after a terrible hangover on her birthday, Trish finds herself in the bed of a humble boy she would never look at in her right mind. Going on business with a terribly split head, our heroine could not think that very soon her birthday will turn into the Day of Death. And then again, and then again. So Trish is trapped in a time loop and until she finds out who killed her, she's gonna have to keep coming back. And since death is just the beginning of rewinding the day, why not make it fun?
This story does not even think to hide its roots and is largely based on Groundhog Day & #39; and a dozen similar films about the time loop. But you know, it does not matter at all, because the authors came up with a mischievous ironic tale with a high age restriction, and it really works.
Yes, the film is not the most clever, it has a lot of stupid moments, but at the same time it does not want to be scolded. He's funny, he's got intrigue and you can't tell who the killer is. Together with Trish, we will conduct an investigation, at the end of which the intensity of passions will reach the maximum level. And then you will feel real satisfaction from what you see.
The creators decided not to overload the plot with information and did not go into the special details that led to the reboot of the day. For the most part, a sequel was set aside. But personally, I really liked the simplicity. It’s no wonder the box office was pretty good.
For her, death would be a better outcome. Why did they give her an endless chance at life?
This is my first review of the film, and I am very sorry that I have to write it on such negative emotions, which caused this 'picture'.
I consider myself a connoisseur of a high-quality thriller, which absorbs not only an inflating and sinister color, but also carries the news through cinema. And this is ...
Who even guessed to write here genre 'horrors'? I understand that Tony Gardner worked on the appearance of the mask of the main villain in the Craven saga pro ' Scream' that he is talented and knows how to give the mask characteristic frightening features. But! Now what? If in the hand of the antagonist sparkles a kitchen knife and he is dressed in a mask from a talented masonic, is it immediately Horror?
Yes, in some places there is a kind of saspiens. The director is trying to infuse with angles, light, sound next to and the face of the heroine wrinkled in perplexity with fear... It would be fine if the protagonist wasn't sick! She just can't empathize with the average viewer, IMHO! A simple person who lives in the real world, surrounded by real concerns. A person who adheres to moral standards every day. Has value after all! Do not brag to a loved one, help a friend in trouble, be honest with a loved one... about humanity! Here in the main role is the finished scum and for some unknown reasons she needs to empathize throughout the film? It was very sad to watch how the director carefully does not spoil her face again, but on the contrary, presents, such a light version of the maniac’s reprisals. It's as if through these squealing and bulging eyes you can really feel it and empathize with it. And so I wanted to watch how the protagonist really scrolls through the hellish series of tragic deaths, losses ... Serving as a tough rehabilitation process! To the crunch... to the young of all the crevices! What could lead to true repentance and the realization that it is impossible to live like this anymore!
And how everything revolves around GG at the beginning! Schoolboys might get the wrong impression that she's all chocolate, AGEY! Screaming all, drunks-goulants, spit on relatives, and the appearance of a maniac is only an unpleasant circumstance. Being a rotten bitch to the bone is so cool!!
I was only enough for half of this 'innovative horror'.
I've always trusted the ballroom search system, but please! Such a high score this piece of torn sock could, together, put only the army ' Generation Internet' and rumble on its egocentric wave!
It's a shame of wasted time! It is better to review Groundhog Day, although the color of the sediment on the soul will not be ash black!

I really liked the film and it’s in my gold collection. I do not understand those reviewers who, in the context of the claim, say that the film uses a concept that has been used before. What does this have to do with the quality of the film? Nothing. The main thing is whether the film is interesting for the viewer and whether he received pleasure from watching.
' Happy Death Day' essentially a two-layer film. The first layer is a good comedy (the film does not have a single flat, stupid joke), a light horror, its own atmosphere and an uncomplicated but correct message (but the problem comes up somewhat different than in the groundhog day). The second layer is the detective component. At first glance, the detective seems simple ' for a tick' but then the film managed to surprise even me, a lover of detectives. Landon, in my opinion, perfectly knows how to organically place in the most visible place what will shoot later, and you do not notice it until you shoot.
That is, the film is built so that it will be interesting to those who do not like detectives at all, and those who watch movies carefully and do not mind digging into it thoroughly. But still in the film, a greater bias is made to reveal the main character and show her internal changes that she undergoes during the course of the story than on the detective component. In my opinion, Landon saved the detective component for the sequel, and in the first film he focused on revealing the main character, her changes and the messages he gives to the audience through the film. Landon himself confirms my assumption in various interviews that he began to give even before the premiere.
I would like to highlight the unique atmosphere in the film. That’s what really good movies have, and maybe that’s what keeps people from forgetting the movie and making them watch it. The atmosphere in ' Happy Death Day' is achieved due to the excellent study of both the main character and the surrounding world, the magnificent acting talent of Jessica Roth, as well as worthy acting of the rest of the cast, original directorial decisions, plot, work of artists and of course the original and atmospheric soundtrack of Bear McCreary.
' Happy Day of Death' a great entertaining film that also has a serious life message. The film compares favorably with most in the first successful merger of horror and comedy, and even in which the realism of the plot and its detective component does not suffer. And in the second, the original rethinking (you can say pumping) of the concept of the groundhog day.

To date, films exploiting the concept of a time loop a la ' Groundhog Day' have been filmed so much that every review of such a product is already for me this ' Groundhog Day'. All plot moves of such projects are outrageously similar, which is generally not surprising, and the difference is only the original finds in each individual film and the cast, which can equally likely ruin the next adaptation of the immortal story, and vice versa give it new colors. So, for example, a very recent ' The Time Matrix' sank into my soul thanks to its finale and the charming Zoe Deutsch. But we are talking now about the horror & #39; Happy Death Day' which came out simply magnificent. All fans of movie maniacs in strange masks - welcome to the next time loop.
So, Trish is a young and most bitchy girl who skillfully destroys relationships with all the people around her. Waking up with a terrible headache after a clearly stormy evening the day before, Trish immediately gives a purely repulsive impression - she ignores her father, who has prepared a gift for her for her own birthday, rude to strangers and unfamiliar people, in general, a very classic character for a story of this kind. But the girl's birthday ends tragically - Trish is attacked by a maniac in a creepy baby mask and ... she wakes up with a terrible headache after a clearly stormy evening the day before.
The addition of the maniac to the classic time loop scheme certainly brought a certain amount of originality to the picture, thanks to which the plot of "Happy Day of Death" & #39 looks fresher. Horror-component, by the way, for such a genre mix is also quite successful, individual scenes of persecution Trish shot amazingly, and there is even a certain suspense, and for the heroine actually want to worry. However, do not count on much in this regard, after all, this is not a thoroughbred slasher, there is enough humor in the picture, there was a place both dramatic and melodramatic component, but it is worth giving the film credit - all its elements work together as needed.
It is necessary to praise the picture for another important thing - ' Happy Day of Death' does not sag for a minute, there is not a single unnecessary scene in the tape, not a single prolonged dialogue, the narrative is constantly moving forward and does not stall in place. The film looks really dynamic, and for all the time I never had the desire to interrupt the viewing and distract myself to something else.
I can’t say anything about castes, all actors are new to me, and I haven’t seen any of them before, but in their images they feel quite comfortable and do not cause any rejection. Perhaps more is not required from such a film.
Coming to the finale - ' Happy Death Day' this is a noteworthy project, which is not a pity to spend time on. As a bonus to the classic story are attached: a maniac with the most creepy mask that cinema has ever known, a very unexpected denouement, albeit somewhat sewn with a white thread, and a funny reference to ' Groundhog Day' in the final dialogue. I recommend watching.
I decided to watch this movie for two reasons. First of all, I really like the topic of time loop. It was curious to look at the heroine, stuck in one day, which ends in her murder. Second, because the movie is young. I didn't expect anything special from him. But the film surprised me pleasantly, which I am incredibly happy about.
It is clear that the creators of ‘Happy Death Day’ 39 took ideas and techniques from the classic Bill Murray film and used them in their own home. But this fact does not spoil the impression of viewing, because they did it with respect to the original source (Easter at the end of the film) and so skillfully that the film turned out in its own special way, with a special atmosphere and zest. A decent youth version adjusted for the thriller.
As befits the thriller, ' Day of Death' perfectly keeps in suspense, for the main character Trish performed by Jessica Roth really worried. The film also makes you laugh and think. All of this combines very well. I haven’t seen a movie with Jessica Roth before, but here she played her role properly and left a very good impression. There are no complaints against other actors.
Studio Blumhouse finally established a reputation of a factory of budget, cost-effective horror, in its quality able to compete with the creations of the Hollywood avant-garde. Now, in addition to several parts of “Paranormal phenomenon”, “Oculus” and much more, the team noted the picture with a witty name that exceeded even the most daring expectations. In truth, Happy Death Day borrowed a fundamental idea from Harold Ramis’ romantic comedy Groundhog Day, which is based on repeat events. However, the authors did not ignore the absolutely transparent fact of non-random resemblance to the cult tape about déjà vu, playing well in one of the last scenes, than they actually signed a refusal of claims to innovation with their own hands. The root of this idea was removed from its native soil and placed in an unfamiliar hostile environment, where everything is subject to different laws. Surprisingly, the concept took root in the new conditions, and it turned out that the dark colors of the “Groundhog” are very much to the face.
Contrary to the explicit secondary, Happy Death Day has something to catch. What only the main character is worth. Sexy student Teresa (Three) Gelbman, who on her birthday suddenly dies at the hands of a mysterious subject in a stupid baby mask on her face, was put forward. All would be nothing, killed and killed, but the girl, for some reason, “stuck” in the temporal matrix. During the day, more often after dark (to make it worse), the beauty is killed and always in different ways, and the next morning she opens her eyes as if nothing had happened! Fate does not limit her efforts to identify a secret detractor and stop him before he strikes a deadly blow. The already insane situation is complicated by the fact that, as a person, the main character of the person is not one of the pleasant and, to be completely frank, bitches that you need to look for. With her extravagant behavior and pofigism on others, she spreads her self-hatred more than any virus. There are few who are willing to do it, but there is no one who wants to do it, so the list of suspects reaches an impressive size. Poor thing has no choice but to find out which of her enemies does not suffer from the small intestine, and is ready to move from intentions to actions, experimentally. The cost of a mistake is literally fatally high: if he does not guess, he will die. Is it boring? Not at all. After all, good-natured creators have done an interesting creative work, developing a dozen spectacular variations of the death of one person and showing them in action.
Due to the fact that events develop in the boundary of one day, almost on a chamber scale, the plot has nowhere to turn, and there is nothing to cling to. The whole film, in fact, is based on the matchless performance of Jessica Roth and the extraordinary charisma of her character. It’s kind of like a one-man theater where a single person does the show. One caveat: if there are simply no other figures in the monotheater, then they are formally present here. But due to certain plot features, it is problematic to perceive them as living people, since absolutely nothing depends on them. Rather, they are part of a single looped simulation. All their actions are nullified at sunset, so it makes no sense to closely monitor them. Of course, they also have a mission, for example, they can be remembered from time to time, in case for a joke scene, you need some extra, spectators or participants.
One thing remains - to consider the protogonist, on which the creators put everything possible, and did not lose under the magnifying glass, to monitor its evolution, to mark every little thing. During that period of time, when we find her in the bed of a stranger drunk in wood, before the finale, the heroine changes a lot. At first, her daring antics are annoying, along the way convincing that the moral demise of the culprit of the celebration came much earlier than the physical. Therefore, it seems to be not even sorry at all, no matter how cruel and blasphemous it sounds. The unavoidable misfortune that is about to fall on her lovely bright head is perceived as a reasonable pattern or karma. When Jessica Roth's character first encounters his abuser, deciding who you're for isn't easy. On the one hand, the choice is obvious: the killer commits an illegal act, violating criminal and moral laws, he is, as the character of the famous Soviet comedy, radishes, would say. On the other hand, the girl is also not an angel, but he only performs a sanitary function, bringing another biogarbage to the landfill.
Three very bright personality, which is not boring to watch, and it’s not just a pleasant appearance. The creators manage to present the story so that throughout the picture we learn about the heroine, something new, as when reading an exciting book, interest in which only grows. She is a living person and, like everyone else, she has various psychological triggers for a hopeless situation. Three “runs” the conditional path from lamentations, tantrums, tears in the shoulder of anyone, to stoic humility and relaxation through those things that even a detached person like her would not normally do. For example, there was time for such tricks as experiments on their own appearance and walking naked down the street.
At one point, it may seem like she is a rebel protesting against daily routines and moral frameworks. She, they say, emphasizes her anti-social position to everyone: openly dresses, unreasonably rudes everyone who comes to her arm, breaks boy hearts, preferring relations with young men, seduce teachers without knowing why God is either for the sake of the test, or boredom, and in other ways limitless. It easily recognizes the average American (not necessarily) student, famous for her looseness and indifference to education. They are only interested in the burning of their youth. However, this is all a lie, an outrageous image of shameless beast, behind which, as if behind a screen, a pleasant, adequate, but unhappy girl hides in the shell. The truth turns out to be absolutely prosaic and snotty. It turns out that behind the frivolity and open hat to everything there is a deep emotional pain buried, which is easier to experience under the wing of an improvised strong personality even under a degree. After self-digging and reflections, Three still embarks on the path of correction, decides to take his life under the reins, solve painful problems and finally turn to the world with a face, not a fifth point. Her spiritual metamorphosis allows her to step towards happiness: to restore kinship and find her soulmate in the person she would not even look at under other circumstances.
The film also owes its genre variety to the heroine, or rather its complex character. The tone of the narrative is unstable and changeable like the mood of a capricious birthday girl. There are jokes in the clip, some on the verge of a foul, but real shots are units. The pendulum is constantly swinging from side to side, shifting now towards the comedy, then towards the thriller. This is not an advantage or a defect, but just a given. The feature is probably the result of no consensus on the final product. Because of this, the film suffers from the inability to self-identify. Too serious for a youth treshechka, which from time to time pretends, and too superficial and naive for serious cinema, and the fact that he is not a horror, I do not say anything. But here's the weird thing, this salt à la Landon is to taste and, admittedly, I would not refuse the supplement.
SDS goes beyond the trivial, classic thriller, turning from the struggle of maniac and victim, the chronicle of becoming a real person. Death appears here not so much as a direct threat, but a negative, inevitable factor, symbolizing the punishment for arrogance and at the same time a metaphor, marking the spiritual rebirth of the heroine, the death of her former and the revival of her new. In addition, Landon tried to tell how important it is to give a stumbled second chance, noting that there is no ideal among us, and almost everyone deserves a clean slate to sketch their life from scratch. For Jessica Roth, who previously had only second-rate roles, this film was a real exam, which the actress passed with brilliance, proving to everyone that can not only assist others, but also perform the functions of a central star. For the excellent individual actions of the actress, as well as for the love, effort and consistency with which the director paints his plan, the tape wants to get away with some inaccuracies, stamps and cliches.

Happy Death Day is one of those films that are made according to some special book directors for dummies. With this book you can make a film without any talent, but quickly and without any effort. But! This movie has 2 pluses that burn this book completely!
First of all, I want to say that I am skeptical about the fusion of horror and comedy genres. Don’t get me wrong, I love these movies. Just recently, such films are becoming dumber and dumber, so go to such films with the expectation of fun is becoming rarer. This task is handled by films that were not supposed to be a comedy at all. For example, recent Photos of Memory and Truth or Action that only made me laugh, not scare (and yes, I watched Happy Death Day after watching these masterpieces).
Watching the film, I felt different emotions and could not understand my feelings. At first it seems like a funny movie, and then they give us a popular cliché again. I would have blown this movie apart if it wasn’t for two details that change everything about the movie.
First of all, the film is very funny and funny. That is, as a comedy, he copes with the task. There have been times when you don’t know whether to put facepalm or laugh in your voice. But the choice was second. Second is Jessica Roth. She's amazing here. Her charisma has no end. She was the one who pulled out the whole movie, for which I thank her very much.
In the end, this is not a perfect and perfect movie. It's very unoriginal and, like I said, it's a book-cliché. But his humour and Jessica Roth's gorgeous play pull the film out. I recommend it!
On her birthday, the main character Trish wakes up in the hostel after a great party. Life is a series of bright events, so by the evening the girl is alone in a dark corner alone with a maniac who sends her straight to her forefathers. In the morning, Trish wakes up again in the dorm and ends the day in a similar way - and so at each death, her day restarts.
Movie in the style ' Groundhog Day' when the same day will be repeated until the main character solves the mystery, and in the case of Trish - will expose the killer. It shows a combination of two genres - detective and comedy. From the detective story, the film gets a very fresh pitch and at times well-thought-out intricate story explanations. The comedy part consists entirely of teenager conventions, and balancing on banal behavioral decisions. As a matter of fact, the whole film will switch between seriousness and simplification.
A large number of simple acts of each rebirth is explained by the desire of the director to create an entertaining movie. If at the first viewing the film sets up to find the killer along with the main character. When repeated, you just enjoy script twists, jokes and a lot of childish naivety in using templates. It turns out that the originality is very small, but the templates are used wisely, so forgive all obvious flaws and inaccuracies.
The impression improves, because when you repeat it, you get a slightly better look at the relationship between Trish and a stranger, Carter, whose dorm he woke up to. Actress Jessica Roth was able through her character to show a large range of mood changes. At the beginning, she is a pronounced bitch and as the plot unfolds, transformations occur with her, which are reflected on her face - from wild horror to incredible happiness. All emotions are very appropriate and fit well into what is happening. Thus, the character does not stand still and for the cinema of this genre is a very important component. Her partner Israel Broussard appropriately complements the acting actress.
There are surprises in the film that only happen once (like a light that goes out in time), and only our experience of seeing many similar stories allows us to tell what will happen next. After all, in this film with rebirths, such elements are not played and this is an omission of the writers. But the most important thing is that thanks to the good presentation and performance of the actors, the film turned out to be very good at entertaining the viewer, which is a positive result.
To live the same day countless times - so is the prospect. Especially if in the morning you wake up in the bed of some random guy with a wild hangover, then you face a boring molestator, find out about a relationship with a married lover, and for dessert you are brutally killed by a maniac with a knife. Honestly, and for once too much, and if you fall into a time loop ... However, no one asks for movie heroes, and Teresa, nicknamed Three, will be forced to snort suffering before Fate gets tired of playing cat and mouse with her. The only way to break the vicious circle is to find your killer yourself before the number of lives released is exhausted: you will agree, motivation is nowhere stronger.
Another variation on the theme of getting stuck in one day – this time on a birthday – combines the features of a typical maniaco-horror à la Jallo (Newphagi, of course, will remember the cult “Scream”) and comedies of average posh. However, the output, surprisingly enough, turns out to be quite an interesting product, which, at least, makes you empathize with the main character and wonder who is still hiding under the ugly mask of a pig. The components of success are simple: a great game is not star, it would seem, Jessica Roth (and the heroine, for a second, she got by no means flat) plus a rich set of suspects, coupled with the peculiar manner of Three to investigate. Well, Israel Broussard, of course, adds a romantic note, and due to the rough nature of the Three love line does not look as sweet as it could be.
Screenwriter Scott Lobdell talked a lot about the history of the film. In any traditional slasher, the bitch is killed first, and the good girl lives to the final credits. So Lobdell was thinking, what if we combined these characters? This move allows you to show the dynamics of the main character – and indeed, the Three, who wakes up in someone else’s bed in the first minutes of the film, is strikingly different from the matured and made a cardinal reassessment of her own values in the finale. This dynamic probably makes the picture so relief, highlighting it against the background of other “computation-maniac” tapes. However, it should be said that the director also contributed to the script - through his efforts, Three became more understandable and humane, and the line with the killer, on the contrary, became slightly confused and complicated. Funny that the final version of the script (the main role was planned Megan Fox) lay on the table for almost a decade before the producers considered it promising. We must think that they were much pleased with the fees: over a hundred million with a budget of a modest five. The promised sequel in the style of “Back to the Future”, most likely, you will not have to wait so long, but whether the creators will be able to surprise the second time is difficult to predict.
Student Three, a local star and the main campus bitch, received an interesting birthday present - a time loop. In the evening, she is killed again and again by a masked maniac, and in the morning she wakes up with a constant hangover in the men's dorm. And to get out of the loop, you have to deal with the killer. And one does not work out, and to get someone’s help, you need to at least stop being such a bitch. It's also a vicious circle, if you think about it.
I'm actually a terrible coward and usually for me watching horrors of death is like (the day before I got to "It" - almost the sofa chewed with horror). Therefore, the fact that this mixture of Groundhog Day, Scream and school comedies of the 80s was previously a bloodless sweetness, only pleased me.
The film may be a little sloppy made and with all the richness of possibilities goes the most traditional way, but who will raise their hand to condemn a small movie with a budget of 5 lemons? But it fought back at the box office and Christopher Landon promises to continue the story of the re-educated bitch. Then we will ask the question properly.
In the meantime, you can have a good time watching a damn lucky and inventive killer in a mask of a goat chase after a shrieking blonde. Who the first half of the film wants to climb into the screen and help strangle, so Jessica Roth brilliantly plays an unpleasant girl. But slowly she turns into a deeply unhappy, frightened alone and already wants a happy ending for her and that cute nerd. Israel Broussard is a miracle, Mimimi.

Death as self-knowledge or Bill Murray’s dreadful dream
"Deja vu"? I do this all the time.
It means someone is imagining you naked.
It happens five times a day!
Is it possible to create something new about a repeating day? From Groundhog Day to Source Code to Edge of the Future to Time Matrix, writers worked with this idea. Scott Lobdell decided to present this story in a new genre – “horror”, generously seasoning it with satire. So there was a tape called "Happy Day of Death."
Director Christopher Landon, together with producer Jason Bloom (Split, Astral and Obsession), decided to take on this script. The result of their work was very impressive! If you want to make sure that this picture is a masterpiece of modern cinema, then ask me personally. If you want a sober and balanced assessment of the picture, then safely read on.
The opening screensaver from Universal already gives the viewer hope for a miracle. At the beginning of the film, the main character Trish (Jessica Roth) is shown to us as a complete bitch. But not everything is so simple: from a cynical selfish schoolgirl, she turns into a wise person who took control of her life.
Six identical days she lives differently. None of the attempts to live the day was smeared with banality and cliché. Every morning is the beginning of a new, unpredictable and original short film!
Trish is looking for the killer, setting himself and the audience on a variety of waves: we observe the “horror”, “comedy”, “fighter”, “drama”. The mix of genres and moods is so organic that the whole movie is like, "Finally, they did what I was waiting for." Namely - a departure from mediocrity, an updated sense of suspense and an interesting plot!
All the actors are young and little-known, but with their work coped. Yes, it is not so hard to play a falling or swearing student, but all the heroes of the second plans played perfectly. I'll mark Carter separately. Israel Broussard is a good actor who played a hero that will appeal to all viewers.
Between the backup and the original language, choose English. Unfortunately, Americans can’t do it without a vulgarity, so Russian swearing and vulgar statements cut the rumor.
Nowadays, there are fewer good films than before. It's sad. And with that in mind, I went to Happy Death Day with no hopes for the extraordinaryness of the painting. But the film was so good that it made me shout “it’s genius” and start clapping before the credits. I am glad that millions of Russians will see the picture and I hope that they will see it as well as I do.
Happy Death Day is the breakthrough in horror thrillers, just like John Wick in the action world. Someone may disagree, but I say that this picture is an atomic bomb thrown into the garden for banal horror films and thrillers!

Classic slasher, aka ' Groundhog Day' for the poor, aka ' Happy Death Day' - a film that is definitely worth watching.
Why?
First, the plot. Yeah, we saw a time loop somewhere. And a boorish sorority student. And a maniac. In general, we have seen everything before, but the film still looks interesting and unstamped, which is confirmed by the collections of cinemas, audience reviews and reviews of critics.
In the center of the plot is Trish (which is how she was called in our translation, so, with your permission, and I will call her that), the queen of campus, and at the same time a bitch and a jerk. Fate threw our heroine into a time loop, and not in a simple, but in the name room, with a gift in the face (that is, in a mask) of a maniac who systematically kills her time and again. The plot, although it uses many clichés from a variety of genres, turns into a very tasty sodium, which can be enjoyed with the appropriate mood.
Second, the heroine. A brilliant incarnation from Jessica Roth, how good she is in this role! I'm not afraid to say, she pulled the whole movie and pulled it out. Here you have bitchiness, and tragedy, and drama, and laughter, and courage, and despair. The emotional range of the actress and her heroine is high. I wish her to continue to shine on the big screen, he will only benefit from her presence.
Third, humor. In some places I laughed from the heart, so the film harmoniously combined slasher and comedy. In many ways, the tape owes its funnyness to the same Jessica Roth, but also outside her image a comedy element at a decent level.
Fourth, the killer. I guessed who put on the mask after about 20 minutes, and then 10 minutes later I was sure who was to blame. But even then the film did not let you relax, threw up other versions, evidence, options, in short, played great with the viewer before giving an answer to the main question.
NB: Importantly, don't pick on how the killer knows where Trish is going and how best to kill her. This is definitely a weak point of the film, but even without an answer to this question, the film copes with its vocation - to be a scary attraction.
In my opinion, there is one Fatty Fat Minus in the film. The sagging storyline: Trish dies over and over again, which means, by elementary logic, irreversible changes are occurring in her body. The film mentions it and... throws it in the air. That's the one thing I couldn't forgive the tape. They say that there will be a sequel - maybe it will tell you what is what.

And my sadness is that there is no special award for such entertainers. The movie deserved it.
Hello! I'm the so-called cool vagina! You'll call all the girls that - wank you alone until old age!
Student Three is trapped in a time loop and forced to die day after day at the hands of a masked stranger. At first, the girl does not understand what is happening, but after a couple of “reboots” she begins to look for someone who may wish her death. The problem is that there are so many people like this.
So, this is another variation on the theme of the cult film “Groundhog Day”. Now the untidy and scandalous person has a chance not only to survive, but also to become a little better at the same time. A cliché? Maybe so, if not for a couple of features. From the film came a great genre mashup. The plot absorbs an impressionable set: fiction, black comedy, horror, thriller, detective. Also in the arsenal there are a couple of funny twists, adding extra cheer to this story. The proper transformation of the character of the heroine is guessed at the very beginning, but it is still pleasant to watch the development of the character.
Although the budget of $ 4.8 million by modern standards is quite small, "Happy Day of Death" proves that you just need to approach spending competently. The cast of little-known actors copes without complaints. The picture is rich, and the camera work pleases with its dynamism.
The film came out surprisingly light, fun and relaxing. It’s a great evening entertainment.
