Well, I, succumbing to reviews, decided to join our native Russian, according to fairy tales: people liked it, so everything is fine, right? No.
Let's start in order. What do we praise? Honestly, I'm trying to find the pluses, but...
Tatiana Dogileva is trying to pull off the series, but her efforts are not enough. Olga Medynych again plays an overly pretentious villain, but this is her role. That's it. There are 2 (!) characters in the series. But there is enough overplay and inappropriate curves that would come to the children's audience. But you can’t watch the series 18+.
Look at the poster: this facial expression with a slightly open mouth Nikolai Naumov wears all 8 episodes. Yeah, he's a kind of "Ivanushka the fool" who works just because he's the main character. Catches villains, solves riddles, puts the bosses in their place, they cover him at work and no matter how he messed up, he will have nothing - well, what is not a fairy-tale character? But this type works only for children's fairy tales, and the writers have transferred this image to an adult audience. Colleagues at work as a selection: the boss, ready to go under the leadership, constantly yells at subordinates. The 'best' female collaborator who hasn't done anything useful in the whole series to justify her perfection. The whipping boy, who again did not give a single reason for a terrible attitude towards him, is slapped throughout the series. The accountant girl here is like a breath of fresh air, she is alone without an animal grin. But at the same time, everyone as one agrees to send at least minimally disloyal/neutral fairy-tale creatures to prison simply because they exist.
The domestic situation is not much better, because there is a constantly boozy "Ivanushka-fool", a dying single mother and a character constantly generating an incoherent stream of mat and obscene jokes.
On vulgar jokes and mate, by the way, and holds the whole comedy of the series: it’s funny if the child starts screaming mate, and the female character will be blinking from jokes “below the belt”? Personally, I wasn't funny.
The plots of the series are devoted to different fairy-tale characters, but as if the writers did not want to make a fairy tale about idiot Ivanushkas, they turned out another “Street of Broken Lanterns” with low-grade humor.
2 out of 10
This time I will start the other way around, first the assessment, and then the explanations - 5 out of 10.
What's wrong? I wanted to say everything, but it wouldn't be true. Let's start with the pros:
1. Main storyline.
It’s really good, but only if you evaluate it in isolation from everything else. I liked the main plot twists and the finale of the first season. I can’t say that this is something special and new – no, fans of the genre have seen this many times. But I am biased here, because in general I love mysticism / fiction, especially with our national flavor.
2. Humor(?)
Here I can not say that this is definitely a plus, because too much vulgarity and rudeness, and frank black enough. And it would seem a fairy tale, but to show this series to children is still not worth it.
At the same time, there are really funny situations, for example, I liked the moment with truth serum - not to say that it would be straight original, but the moment is not bad.
In general, I would make it neutral.
3. Special effects/action
Let's just say I didn't really expect it, and I didn't. And so this point is also neutral.
Now the sweets are the minuses. Let’s start with the most basic:
1. Screenplay. . .
Yes, I said that the main storyline is not bad, but that the main, let’s say, the central idea. I don’t have any censorship words to describe what a mess it is! I have not seen such a primitive for a long time:
The motivation of most of the actions of the characters is spelled out poorly, if not at all;
An incredible amount of overt stupidity;
On many storylines, the creators simply score. At the end of the series there is some event, which in theory should be a logical continuation (they are police after all!), but no, the writers do not care, we just forget about it;
- The world isn't made of words at all! If the viewer is more than 12 years old, natural questions should arise throughout the series:
Where is the top brass actually? Why is there only a Raven and everything closes to it? What is this lawlessness and why is it happening in a fairytale prison? And so on and so forth. If at least a couple of minutes spin the plot and events of the series in your head, then everything will crumble - this is a sign of hacking. But there is a problem, a 12-year-old series can not be watched, it is like 18+.
- dialogues are simply no, people do not talk like this (saved only by rewinding so as not to hear them);
And yes, here someone can say that this is the general tone of the story - fabulous / funny, but no, never once, fabulous and humorous does not imply stupidity! After all, watch The Last Bogatyr. Yes, it is not a masterpiece either, but in comparison it is much better.
Throughout the series, I remember Alien: Covenant, a film in which because of the stupid and illogical actions of the characters they do not want to empathize. . .
2. Actors/characters.
The characters are poorly spelled out, like they give some information about them, but everything is very superficial. Their storylines are not revealed, but chopped.
As for the actors, I don’t even know if they were told to ‘play’ that way, or if the script and the written dialogue just didn’t allow them to turn around and show something sane. . Let’s go through the list of people I like:
Vasilisa (Eva Smirnova) - a child is a child, her charm cannot be taken away. I've seen her in Midband 2's Vampires before, and I love the way she tries and plays.
Baba Yaga (Tatyana Dogileva) - I saw there, in "Vampires" and she is also good, experience is felt.
Katya (Maria Akhmetzyanova) - she doesn't have much screen time, but I believed her (one of the few) and her play looked natural.
About the rest do not even want to talk, absolutely unnatural game (maybe not in all moments, but in most cases so accurately) - then wildly overplay, on the contrary, adequate emotions do not wait.
As far as I understand, the creators wanted to go on hype and the general popularity of fiction / fantasy / mysticism in recent years, after the success of many Russian TV series and films of these genres. You could have! Yes, the general idea of the series is not new, but it is not bad! It was only necessary to work a little with the script (which, according to the feelings of children from junior grades), with dialogue, with the general concept of the world and it would turn out quite well.
As a result, we have what we have - a messed-up idea, very sorry. . .
Review lost. Again, the movie was pretty good. You can’t call it a masterpiece, but I watched it with interest. GG is a bit overplaying, but in principle it fits into his character. It’s not logical either, but overall. You can see it!
And the monster replied, "I'm sorry, but I have to get off at the next stop."
Hello, reader. I understand all the dissatisfied and discouraged, but I didn’t expect anything super-perfect (or anything at all) when I watched this series. They recommended him to me with the words "childish, funny, but with murder." Well, fairy tales I love and appreciate, so I found and watched the whole season in two days.
Of course, this is not a masterpiece of world cinema and is unlikely to be, but surprisingly, the picture was shot qualitatively and amusingly. That is, she literally meets all the requirements that are for her - when you read the title and watch the teaser, you get the feeling that it will be a simple story with fairy tale heroes, where there is an ordinary guy, a former military man, a drunken Leha, some fabulous entities and, of course, a princess (well, where without her). But the princess is not the love line of Lehi the fool, but a niece.
Most of all, I laughed at the soundtracks, which are just perfectly matched. The first time I heard in the series “the new sheriff in the city”, at first surprised, and then rusted with the fact that she was there really in the subject. The entourage is amazing - Baba Yaga in onlyphans, Kaschei on the Internet is, of course, a find.
I understand that many people are waiting for a classic fairy tale, but the fairy tale remains a classic always, and such translations only confirm its relevance. There are no super special effects, but everything is built logically, funny, without claims to perfection and interesting. I’m looking forward to the second season – promised this year, interesting.
The series caused me joyful emotions - it is light, pleasant, not twisted, somewhat naive, in short - a cool fairy tale for family winter evenings with a cat. Can her children? Well, due to the obscene vocabulary - hardly, of course, but for a rest from business and problems - quite a wonderful choice, I think.
Have you read this paragraph? - Like, catch the rays of good and ... a pleasant viewing.
I watched the whole show. So, how's the show? More like a cabbage, a set of sketches, just a voiceover laugh is missing. With such good material, so much could be shot, but a serious task seems not set. I have only one assumption – that the writers tried to imitate the old fairy tales. In them, events are flashing fast, the motivation of the heroes is not explained. The viewer did not have time to become interested in something - and it is already abandoned for uselessness. Heroes are completely devoid of depth, dialogue is primitive. There are almost no special effects, and makeup is mostly simple. Some sort of downside game without a break. . .
Actors, even famous ones, don’t bother much either. Apparently, they do not want to stand out against the background of beginners. Especially in this regard, Gosh Kutsenko did not please - he can be much better! It was like being asked to stand next to me. Gnomic Sobolev at first liked - this lush vegetation suits him very much. It looked profitable with his prudence against the background of the reckless protagonist. But somewhere in the middle, his sexual preoccupation starts to get wild. And completely cuts off the opportunity to show the series to children under 16. In addition, the spectacle is something unexpectedly cruel, especially in relation to harmless fairy tale characters. Why - again, no explanation, that's all.
Despite this, the main storyline is quite interesting. It is a shame that they did not come up with a decent frame for her. The finale clearly suggests a second season.
The overall impression is rather negative. Once again, there was a feeling that everything that could be spoiled was spoiled. But in order.
The bundle is very potentially interesting. A former police officer who gets into the department dealing with fairy-tale characters. In Slavic folklore, there are enough interesting characters with whom you could work. Moreover, the modern environment allows the characters to open up from unexpected sides. Unfortunately, it did not work.
None of the actors were happy (well, maybe, except for Dogileva). Nikolai Naumov was especially upset - this is a real boy. That's how he was in Real Boys, and that's how he was here. It always feels like he can’t connect two words. On the former sniper (the profession implies composure, prudence, endurance), he is completely similar to her. The rest of the department is even worse. The outspoken careerist Lena (Darya Melnikova), the completely obscured Hare (Alexei Zolotovitsky), the boss (Andrey Dobrovolsky), constantly roaring to the main character "You are fired!!!!" - they are all so clichéd that you do not expect anything unexpected from them. You can't wait. And Krasnov (Maria Smolnikova) is equally template and predictable. But her participation in the plot is at least somewhat significant, unlike the others. Villains are no better, mostly their game is more like a curve. And in Voronov (Philippe Yankovsky) and Elizarov (Gosha Kutsenko) the word "villain" is written on the forehead in large printed letters. And no intrigue. Particularly upset gnome (Ilya Sobolev) - the most interesting and promising in terms of plot formation role, and so much rudeness and vulgarity that it was because of him that I would not classify the series as "for family viewing". A more or less normal impression remained of Baba Yaga (Tatiana Dogileva) and Vasilisa (Eva Smirnova).
The plot is primitive, predictable, strained. The actions of the characters are often so illogical that they cause confidence in their mental inferiority. The only unexpected twist of the plot is the murder of Katya (GG’s sisters) – unexpected, because for a conventional comedy series it is somehow ... not funny. From the word "totally." Unfortunately, the very promising gift of Vasilisa is revealed extremely poorly. And “Magic Central” is shown to be so strange and unreasonably cruel that you want to hide all the “hunters for fabulous creatures” in it just so that you know what those who are caught are doomed to. In any zone, the conditions are much milder.
Special effects - did they even exist? I was waiting until the last that the Snake Gorynych will be shown in his “fairytale” appearance ... no ... I did not wait.
The final – well, this is not at all in any gate. I’m not going to spoil who needs it – the result already knows.
And again, it's very rude in some places. I understand that children now have both obscene and criminal, and in general any profanity, but until some quotes from this series I would not allow children. Yeah, well, before the show in general. He was not very kind, not "family" at all.
In summary. There are beautiful examples of the fusion of detective, comedy and Russian fantasy stories. For example, “The Secret Search of Tsar Peas” is a series of fantastic novels by Russian writer Andrei Belyanin. I wish I could make it! But over and over again, the script is used as a blatant hack. And there's no end in sight.
Former soldier Alexei Popov, who was in the deepest alcoholic peak, did not even suspect how his life was ready to change. The sudden appearance of his sister and niece in his life prompts the young man to bring his life back to normal and find a job. And the new place of work – the police department for combating fabulous creatures – promises not only numerous adventures, but also incredible danger. Now Alyosha has not only to try on the role of a good uncle for his new niece, but also to save the city (and maybe the whole Earth) from the machinations of the insidious Koschei Immortal, who is about to rise from the realm of the dead.
"Magic Precinct" is an incredibly spectacular series, which is like no other suitable for our viewer. First of all, it’s a very interesting series. Given the love of our brother to all sorts of investigations, the adventures of the magic law enforcement officer Alexei Popov will be interesting. And the fact that all his cases are based on our favorite fairy tales and take part in them familiar from childhood fairy-tale characters, turns the series into a fascinating symbiosis, which will not only be able to dispel the clouds of everyday life in the evening, but also really entertain.
The series consists of separate series, where in each series there is a separate investigation of the crime of some fairy-tale character - dwarves, werewolves, mermaids, Snake Gorynych and others. There is also a cross-cutting plot, which is associated with the personal life of the main character and gradually prepares the viewer for the final – a meeting with Kaschei the Immortal, who (believe me) has a very insidious plan. And now, having reached the fifth series (not yet in the subscription of Okko), I realized that before the final we are waiting for a grandiose event, as one member of the family Kolyan Alyoshi revealed intriguing information. That is, an interesting turn in the final is provided, so I am looking forward to watching the developments.
If we talk about other factors of the series, then everything is at the level. The main roles were lit up by such luminaries of acting as Gosha Kutsenko, Pasha Derevyanko, Tatiana Dogileva, Philip Yankovsky, who unusually surprisingly managed to turn into fairy-tale characters, adding to their hero some of their own authenticity. It is unusual, but very exciting to follow these actors in their roles. Also, a special highlight of the series is Ilya Sobolev in the role of Domovoy, which holds most of the funniest gags in the series.
Also very well adds to the series level of its musical accompaniment. Familiar and beloved modern tracks and processed classical compositions make the series pleasant not only for viewing, but also for listening. And I even watched the series with Rusal a second time - I liked it so much. Summing up my review, I can say that I sincerely recommend the series to those who want to cheer themselves up and nostalgia on the topic of fairy tales. Believe me, you will not be able to break away from viewing and the heroes will immediately appeal to you.
10 out of 10
I don’t even know how to appreciate this creation, as if people tried to make us, ordinary spectators laugh. The film is, of course, a complete story for adults, in which children are filmed. But in honor of the complete rotation of the earth around the sun, I will not put an estimate. Thanks for your efforts!!!)
It’s a very nice and magical series. Not perfect, but the desire to dig into roughness and imperfections is not at all. Kolyanu, even though he is Leha, rejoices as a relative - both he and he are happy for him. Colorful woman Yaga, the actors are beautiful. I really hope there will be a second season.
I found out about this series, because I follow Yulia Bashtova, who worked on costumes. I watched a teaser with Snake Gorynych and decided that I would definitely watch.
Taking Russian folklore and stylizing it as a fantasy modern action detective is a great idea. There are a lot of things in this series. Shot beautifully, the locations are stylish, the plot is dynamic. It is a great pleasure to consider details and learn new modernized interpretations of folklore events or the functions of objects from fairy tales. These pleasant unusual subtleties give the series its indescribable atmosphere, make the fairy-tale world more difficult, but at the same time more practical and closer to the real.
Each series is a novel within a large narrative with its own leitmotif. The plot develops in stages, steps, and we get acquainted with the characters gradually, through their actions on the way to the climax. The only thing I lacked in this type of storytelling, when the fate of real and fairy-tale worlds depends on one person - the sharp endings of each series, after which you want to wait for the next one. It seems like the intrigue remained - but so modest that it is easy to wait for the next series. Only two of the eight episodes ended curiously.
After watching the whole series carefully, I realized that there was a strange residue. I had to find out what was wrong.
One.
Each character has its own line, image, character, initial relationship with other characters, which they strictly adhere to. So strict that most of them do not develop at all in the storytelling process. Their goals do not change, there are few doubts and experiences, awareness too, characters and personal goals in general are very simple. Probably my faint interest in waiting for each next series lies in the fact that you do not empathize with the good majority of the characters.
From the characters, I single out Baba Yaga - she had a cool potential, and the series slightly revealed her complex motivation. Or maybe Tatiana Dogileva herself gave her character such an image that she wants to watch and learn more. In general, there is a reason next season to make a cool flashback about her.
I want to summarize: the dossiers of the characters are thought out amazingly, and there is almost no development.
And the question: Yegor - who is Yegor? Why would he even do that? From baton to toad... If it's a ponytail for season two, OK. If he does not appear there and does not reveal, then he is in vain in this story.
Probably the complexity of a large number of interesting characters and the lack of screen time to reveal each. Although on the other hand - each had its own series with details, where the emotional coupling of the viewer with the hero and the development of the character could occur.
Second
I didn't understand the target audience. Some moments are spelled out and played as if it were a child playing with dolls. While one character is moving, the second one freezes and waits, and then reacts or acts very inappropriately to an adult. It gives the series such clumsiness and clumsiness that it's hard to watch. Characters look stupid sometimes. I’ve always wondered why I’m so embarrassed about some things.
Because of these two points, there is a general aftertaste of cardboard, which is very disappointing for such a cool idea, casting and elaboration of details.
I hope the second season is better. The plot is worth it!
In our film production, a clear trend is traced by the strained Russian Renaissance.
Why strained, because while all these boars and Baba Yaga are hiding the heroes of Marvel and DS.
What can you say about the magic section? There is such a clear mixture of Real boys and a street of broken lights, soured in fairy tales.
There are interesting finds in terms of rethinking fairy-tale characters, funny detective stories of the level of tvshny series and funny interactions of the characters.
In general, the plot is saved by the fact that the story is presented without excessive seriousness, there are interesting jokes higher than the comedy club and some convention of what is happening.
But specifically with the convention of what is happening, there are problems. Because it feels like actors don't really believe what they're playing. As the professional actors say, they didn’t take the space. That is, the main idea is to show the unusual in the usual series failed. This is primarily due to inconclusive acting. Nikolai Naumov, unfortunately, does not play the role of not just a crook and a real boy, but the role of a simple-minded person, but with a complex background and a wide range of emotions. The role of Daria Melnikova is maximally fake, she also tries to play not the smartest employee, but again she does not feel natural in this space, in her father’s daughters she even looked more alive. This happens to almost all actors. Sobolev gets out on tintsh jokes and his most simple image. The only ones who cope with their roles very well are Tatiana Dogileva (Baba Yaga) and Eva Smirnova, they are the only ones who have characters that are truly alive.
The graphics are quite good, but there is a lack of original mise-en-scene, and interesting elaborate scenery. For example, a fabulous prison (Fairytale Central), where it would be interesting to turn around - an ordinary rare winter forest. The center of Moscow, where the magic plot is located, looks like an unremarkable quarter of any city.
That is, ordinary looks unnatural, fabulous looks boring.
And finally, the plot and the fairy tale itself is made according to the patterns of Hollywood series of the 10s. All the "Russian" characters look like aliens from people in black. In general, the entire series on the development, ideas, and design of fantastic characters is very similar to the franchise Men in Black and of course Marvel / DC comics. There are interesting finds, jokes, but in general, it is not an independent and original series.
And of course, a huge bucket of tar in a barrel is the finale of the series. At 23, Moveton made such an open ending. The creators are so greedy for ideas that instead of finishing the season and coming up with something new, and the concept allows it, no, they just leave the ending as open as possible with the revival of universal evil and the battle to save the world.
The result: a good start, an interesting attempt to combine a Russian fairy tale and a Russian detective, but on a template Hollywood foundation. Inconclusive acting and inexpressive style do not yet allow us to say that this is a new vector of development.

Once upon a time Alyosha Popov lived. Alesha was a former military sniper and suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder. Without sparing himself, he entered into a fight with a green snake and lost time after time. It would seem that Alyoshka no one will be able to get out of this state. But suddenly in his life, his sister again appears, who asks him to take on the obligations to raise his niece. Having decided that it is time to change something in life, our hero gets a job in the police station, which turns out to be not simple, but fabulous. And now Leha is the frontrunner in the fight against fabulous villains. It seems that everything has improved, but Alexei does not suspect that very soon he will undergo severe trials in the fight for family happiness, since Koschei the Immortal put his eye on his niece Vasilisa. Will our fighter be able to stand up and defend everything that he now loves very much?
It would seem that fans of Koli Naumov should be upset, since after many years, Kolyan’s adventures ended with the final series of “Real Boys”. Over the years, Kolyan has become a true hero. And suddenly Okko presented a surprise – a new series “Magic Precinct”, where Kolya turned into another hero – an employee of a fabulous police station Alexei Popov, who will face to face with various fabulous villains. In fact, we see the same native Kolyan - all habits, manner of behavior, reactions to what is happening are quite recognizable. Only the setting has changed, which from the first series bribes with its unusualness and since childhood with a familiar background.
It’s strange why this series hasn’t happened before. After all, our folklore is incredibly rich in various Snakes Gorynych, Koschei, dwarves, leopards and mermaids, who are constantly experiencing various adventures. And moving heroes from childhood fairy tales to the surroundings of a modern city is a winning idea. Moreover, the authors went even further and invited no less famous actors to the role of various fairy-tale creatures. Dogilev, Derevyanko, Kutsenko, Yankovsky – all these actors, along with Naumov, tried on completely new roles and, in conjunction with high-quality computer graphics, presented spectacular heroes to the viewer.
The series is a semi-detective comedy, where each series introduces us to a new villain, who is invariably defeated by Lyosha Popov. All this is diluted with excellent humor, for which Ilya Sobolev is responsible here and his jokes make the series not quite childish. But, everything is evenly distributed and the authors do not go beyond ignorance and vulgarity. However, there is one solid storyline, which concerns Vasilisa (she was also perfectly played by a young Eva Smirnova), which adds drama to the plot and takes the narrative towards the importance of family values in the life of any person.
Very imperceptibly, the series from a semi-fabulous comedy to the finale turns into an incredibly soulful drama that can catch any viewer alive. The plot twist, which gently leads us to the idea that the second season to be, not that very surprising, but satisfies with its logic and expected predictability. After the final series, the viewer does not have any questions about the plot, but only the waiting mode for the continuation is turned on, which does not disappoint and upset, but, on the contrary, pleases the prospects.
As a result, “The Magical Precinct” turned out to be the best New Year’s series, which, with its action, humor, acting diversity, turns viewing into a kind of New Year’s matinee, in which each hero is in his place, the arches of the main characters are correctly opened, and the story does not give away ordinary and self-repeat. This is a really new look at our fabulous heritage, in which if you dig, you can always find something new and interesting. Thank you very much for your efforts – I will definitely watch the second season, because in these eight episodes I have attached my heart to the main characters. Having cried a little in the finale, I look with readiness and interest into the future of this whole story.
The story of how Alyosha Popov went for the death of Koschieva.
Who said that all stories should be for children? Why not consider the story of heroes who have known since childhood, from an alternative angle and tell the story in a way that is interesting not only for modern children, but also for their parents?
And now the director Stepan Gordeev together with the screenwriter Alexander Noskov took and told. Yes, so that each of the eight episodes turned out to be a full-fledged chapter of one big story, which in the end turned into a pleasant fairy tale with a sentimental ending.
This series tells about recognizable fairy-tale characters that are placed in modern realities. Baba Yaga here changes shapes like gloves and earns a living in the modern way - information and blogging. Snake Gorynych does not have three heads, but has a mental disorder that allows three different personalities to coexist in it at the same time. Leshie are simple bank robbers, and werewolves hunt for collectors. And in order to ensure that all this evil is not completely girded, there is a special police unit, the so-called “Department for the fight against magical crimes”. It is here that the main character comes to work - former military Aleksey Popov, who plunges into all kinds of crimes with the use of invisibility hats, samocral tablecloths and other fabulous paraphernalia.
The idea was incredibly exciting, intriguing and very fun. In order for the viewer to be even more pleasant, along with recognizable characters, recognizable actors also take part in the series. Kolyan Naumov, Tatiana Dogileva, Philip Yankovsky, Pavel Derevyanko and Gosha Kutsenko, Olga Medynich and Nikita Kologrivy – all of them are revealed from a new side in the atmosphere of a fairy-tale experiment, which was offered to them by the screenwriters. And all this set of fabulous passions easily gives the viewer a great mood when watching, which today we all so need on the eve of the New Year holidays.
If you are looking for something new to watch this year, I would gladly recommend this series. It is full of surprises and will be able to surprise even the most watched viewer. What only is Ilya Sobolev aka Dwarf matershinik, who was immediately seized on memes. The series is made very qualitatively - graphics, interweaving stories, the sudden appearance of unexpected heroes and reflections on family values - all this is competently packaged by the creators in a festive wrapper and makes this series a real event on the domestic television screen.
Looking ahead, there will be a second season. But the realization of this does not spoil your viewing, but on the contrary - after a couple of episodes, when you fall in love with Alyosha Popov and his friends, you will be extremely happy with the rosy prospects to see new adventures of your beloved heroes. Honestly, there are very few such non-standard series. So do not miss the chance to please yourself and your loved ones with this New Year’s story. Continue reading...
The story of the series begins with an acquaintance with the main character. Alyosha Popov is a former military sniper who is used to losing friends at work and because of this, he had an emotional breakdown. Leha turns into a brawler and drunkard who deliberately ruins his life. Everything changes when his sister asks him to take care of his niece Vasilisa. Not wanting to lose relatives, Leha takes up his mind: quits drinking, puts himself in order and gets a job in the police. However, the police are not simple, but magical. And his niece is in the zone of interest of the main magic criminal - Koschei Immortal. And now Leha is in the center of incredible events and the lives of many people depend on it. Can our hero bear such a burden of responsibility?
Nothing changes in the life of an ordinary Russian. Many years ago, as a teenager, I watched Broken Lantern Street with my parents, and I now remember this period of my life with great trepidation. And so, after a while, as a parent of teenagers, I watch a police series with them and try to recreate the atmosphere of home comfort and warmth at home. Strange probably sound in one sentence the words comfort and police series, however – this is our Russian nature. The only thing that has changed is the series – “The Magic Precinct” is an incredibly exciting, high-quality and really interesting series that is pleasant to watch for both teenagers and adults. This is a real family movie.
It was time to recreate our Russian folklore in Russian reality. It all looks so atmospheric and organic that it seems that all these tablecloths and speedboats actually exist somewhere in the bowels of police departments. The plot captivates from the very first series, when Lyoshu, suffering from the echo of war, is forced by fate to plunge headlong into magic. And the main pleasant feature of the series is that it is an eight-part through adventure of Alyosha Popov and his little niece. And you expect the finale of the season no less than every new series.
Nikolai Naumov quite organically fit into the new role. It hasn't changed at all since "Real Boys," but it did play into the show's hands. In some places, naive, but extremely responsible and workable Kolya left a pleasant impression, moving to a new series. And given our rich folklore, as well as the very high interest of the series, I would not mind watching the magical adventures of 11 seasons.
There is only one episode left before the final and the kids and I are very excited. There have been a lot of things over the past seven episodes. Interesting metamarphoses, betrayals and unexpected help - the series intrigued and fascinated constantly. With each new series, more and more characters are attached to the characters. In this fairy tale lit up very famous actors in unusual roles. We liked Derevyanko in the role of Snake Gorynych, as well as Olga Medynich in the role of the Snow Queen (ridiculously played her story with Kai). All this friendly magic set, as if specially created for the new year. The atmosphere of magic and our winter creates the right mood and is already felt after watching in the air the smell of tangerines.
As a result, "Magic Precinct" is a pleasant fairy tale for adults and children (preferably at least teenagers, still Sobolev gestures - but this is all in the subject), which despite the events taking place in our time in modern society, skillfully creates an atmosphere of real winter fairy tales, which you review every year in the hope of charging with the New Year's mood and positive. I am sure that despite the fact that the series will end (final or entering a new season), it will fall into the list of those TV series and films that you want to watch before the New Year. Thank you for the risk and desire to surprise the audience!

Leha Popov is a former military man. Having experienced a personal tragedy at the service, he begins a destructive descent to the bottom: drunkenness, fights and other stupidities. Suddenly, in the midst of all this negligence in his life, a sister with a small niece appears. And Leha has to pull himself together and start a new life from scratch: find a job, stop drinking and learn to take responsibility. And now our hero gets a job in the police station, where his area of responsibility includes the capture of fairy-tale criminals. And if his combat experience allows you to quickly become an excellent student in the service, then in personal life everything is not so simple. Will Leha be able to remain not only a front-runner of the service, but also become a good guardian?
Sooner or later, the film should have attracted the attention of our filmmakers. After all, the field here is graceful and unplowed. How can it not be interesting adventures of the police squad, which must maintain a delicate balance between the real and fairy-tale world? Indeed, and if we had in the criminals went Snake Gorynych, Baba Yaga, werewolves and other fairy-tale characters, and in the assistants of the police were dwarfs and house-dwarfs – is this not a fascinating night tale for grown-up children?
My wife and I got into this series by accident. I was just spinning a sentence in Occupy and looking for something for a soulful viewing for the evening. After reading the synopsis of the series “Magic Precinct” I first treated it with distrust, thinking that this is some cheap “Menta” in a fabulous setting, but it turned out to be quite the opposite.
Not only is one series, this is a separate story that goes through all the episodes and the finale of which is very much expected by me, since I want to finally see the main antagonist Koschei the Immortal and understand how he will win. So also most of the fairy-tale characters were played by beloved actors who appeared in unusual roles. Snake Gorynych – Derevyanko, Werewolf – Kutsenko, Raven – Yankovsky, Baba Yaga – Dogileva – all these characters are so believably performed by actors that it is interesting to watch their adventures, despite the fact that all this is in a fabulous atmosphere from childhood.
With each new series, the tension increases incredibly. After six episodes, so many questions have accumulated and the plot has so famously twisted that I am just wondering how the writers of the script will be able to reach the finish line and how they will make the characters get out of all the problems that have come up in six episodes. Also, in addition to good humor, the series has a fascinating dramatic component associated with the story of the niece of Lyokha Popov. And the girl who plays the main role, a big smart girl - just incredibly plays back.
The series is very exciting, qualitatively made and interesting even for an adult viewer. I don't remember anything like that right away. We are looking forward to the finale, which would confidently then make the “Magic Precinct” in the top series of 2023.

The 21st century characterizes a person as not an adult child
The film is very fresh and original, but before I say good words, I want to notice the characteristic features of our society. It is not for me to judge society, because I am not perfect myself, but I would like to say a common feature of all series.
Films of different lengths of time emphasize the problems that concern society. If the beginning of the 20th century is the formation of the state, the middle of the 20th century is an honor and respect for the ordinary working man and a shame for the weak. Then, the end of the 20th century is the film "Afonya", characterized by a society with fallen morals, when to work drunk is the norm, sober very pride, and stealing from work, it is necessary ritual. Those early 21st century movies emphasize that being stupid is perfectly normal. And to be not just stupid, but also without the awareness of your failure, honor, dignity and guilt for what you did. 'Interns', 'Real boys', 'Deaf', 'Daddy's daughter', 'Voronina', 'Matchmakers', 'Sasha-Tanya', 'Kitchen'. People with blunted thinking, a sense of shame and an understanding of responsibility. All their actions are guided either by the trend of fashion or the influence of someone else’s will. Self-will and mental activity manifest from time to time. These are the moments that are my favorites. And the trend of fashion and other people's opinion says: "Create game." And don't worry about the consequences. Because everyone's like that. Don't worry about responsibility. They will either be locked up for you or they will break up for you. Being stupid isn't a bad thing. Why are you worse than others? The characters of these series turn on the brain, but for a short period of time, in self-defense mode. And then it turns off again, because the hero against the background of the total mass becomes a white crow and an outcast. The heroes of the series are not mature personalities. Adult children who never learned to think. Why do you need to think when they think for you and say what is right?
Alexei Popov - a stupid moment with the "diadema" of a sleeping princess, the gnome's request to write for a deceased mother. Not married, no children, boozes, creates trouble on the go to justify himself for the flaws of his own soul.
Oleg Zayats is a walking joint, not married, no children, does not want to admit to himself that he shook. I am ready to defend an insult to my personality, but not to change and grow up.
Elena Fedotova is unmarried, no children, moderately adequate.
Nikolai Bokov - portrays the appearance of the boss, in fact wants to be as little responsible for everything as possible and that the work itself was done.
Alexei Popov's sister is a divorcee with a child, his father has irresponsibly left. Her position in the film is shown not as a big drama in the family, but an ordinary event. Like all the other heroes who have no family or children. Because they still cannot understand that it is necessary to arrange their personal lives, and they continue to be irresponsible youth at the border age.
Heroes bribe with their charisma, character, spiritual atmosphere in the team. The series is very original, a lot of subtleties that are pleasantly pleasing. I really want to watch it again and again. This is not a criticism of the series, this is a common link of all series. The plot is not written from the ceiling to abstract events, it captures the trends of society in a fixed time interval, and the series finds its viewer because the viewer recognizes himself in it. The series blew up a storm of emotions in me, but the common threads of all the series still intertwined. And they will wove in and bind until each of us understands who he is, what he wants and what his task in society is. And not to rush randomly through space until old age, like a young man who has not yet realized his task.
Maybe it’s not just a desire to grow up.
I thought I had long since outgrown the age when I could love fairy tales. Well, really, all these Koschei Immortals, Babies Hedgehogs, mermaids - really? Probably at my age, few people return to these fairy tales, since we have long been interested in the plots of “pozubastie”, and the characters are darker.
How glad I am that one evening I just thoughtlessly clucked in Occa selections and came across the premiere of the series “The Magic Precinct”. I was interested in the cover on which Nikolai Naumov adorned. And you know, here's the actor in the hero! And in the end it turned out that I very quickly – in just 4 episodes – went from a skeptic to an ardent fan.
In brief, the series will tell the story of unemployed Alexei, who suffers from the “Green Snake”. But everything changes when his sister decides to lay on the shoulders of a former military niece Vasilisa. And now our hero already picks himself up and goes to work in ... the magical police, which catches all evil in the modern city.
The series drags on very quickly. Not only is each new series a separate story about some magical crime (hello beloved Colombo), but there is also a cross-cutting story about the revival of Koschei the Immortal and his attempts to find a body (and here hello Harry Potter). However, despite the numerous allusions that occur in the brain when reading a synopsis - "Magic plot" as a breath of fresh air: incredibly original, in our colorful and extremely fascinating.
The series has an incredible number of stars of the first magnitude, which on the screen implement fairy-tale heroes of the first magnitude. What is only Baba Yaga - Dogileva worth? Here is the example of this heroine can be judged about the serious approach of the authors to the series. Being funny at the beginning, in the sequel, Baba Yaga becomes a serious threat, and in the fourth series, she generally turns into a player on the “gray” field, as it becomes unclear who she is playing for. And many heroes go through such transformations – the first impression of them may be mistaken (the story with Rusal confirms this).
In short, after the first episodes, you want to talk about the series, you want to talk about it, you want to write about it, and most importantly, you want to watch it. And this suggests that we have a truly high-quality product without any “buts”. Just taste the first series. I'm sure you'll get on it just like I did. I really want to believe that the series for the finale will not lose its interest, and the main intrigue will give us a final twist. In the meantime, I can put the series without further words ...
The fairy tale is a lie, but in it a hint - "real boys" a lesson.
Former sniper Alexei Popov begins a new stage of his life: after a period of self-destruction and self-flagellation due to the “echo of war”, the main character gets a chance to live a normal life again. In his house, his sister appears, who, along with not very cheerful news, puts Alyosha before a choice: either he will take his head and establish relations with his niece Vasilisa, or the girl will be taken to an orphanage. Yes, this is the harsh truth of life and without any fairy tales. However, Leha does not succeed at all without fairy tales, because his new job is the police department for combating fairy-tale crimes. Now Leha has not only to establish relations with her niece, but also to chase around the city for leopards, mermaids and other fabulous creatures.
It’s a shame that the last season of Real Boys was shot by inertia. As much as I love these heroes led by Kolyan, the final was rather weak. And I was sad until I came across Occo for the premiere of a new series starring Kolya Naumov. I could not do anything about myself and included the first series of “Magic Precinct” before going to bed. No way! I only stopped when I watched the first four episodes. Very good!
Despite the fact that we have a new character Naumov (Alesha Popov), but still recognize the very beloved “Kolyan”. The main character has a difficult past, a vague future, but an extremely entertaining present. There's not as much realism as in "Real Boys," but the stories are no less interesting. How can it not be interesting to see the confrontation between Alyosha and the Snake Gorynych? Or a fight with Rusal? Believe me, such a fascinating and fun series has not been since the days of “Middle Lane Vampires”. It is noticeable that our filmmakers have found a gold mine and now more often please us with interesting original stories based on our Russian folklore.
All other aspects of the series, which are often described by viewers in their reviews for film work, are also on top. Excellent graphics, without which, as you understand, in a series with a similar plot simply can not do. Favorite actors who appear in new ways. Yes, there was no genius Stoyanov. Nevertheless, Yankovsky, Smolnikova, Dogileva, Derevyanko, and the same Sobolev (especially Sobolev) are all in their places and give the audience the right emotions at the right time. And the last is an incomparable, light, natural-fairy-tale humor that will be understandable to any viewer. Not without a strong word, but without too much.
After watching me, emotions just burst. I loved it! Right away, the series flies into my personal top of the series of 2023! One drawback is waiting for the next series. But it's worth it. I would highly recommend watching.
Leha Popov is a former sniper who experiences an echo of war. His life is rolling to the bottom, but suddenly a ray of hope begins to loom on the horizon: his younger sister Katya and niece Vasilisa return to his life. Under the pressure of unexpected factors, Lehe has no choice but to take a fist, quit drinking and find a job. And he finds work for himself not simple - but mystical. Leha's life takes on new meaning. And not just because of his job duties, but because of the responsibilities that his new old family places on him. How long will Leha be able to stay on the surface and will be able to catch the main villain – Koschei, that’s the main question!
Just finished with his wife to watch the beloved long-term “Real boys”, as Nikolai Naumov, like a phoenix, reappears on the screen and captures our attention. Honestly, the last season of Real Boys was downright weak. Despite the final good message, the characters have already exhausted themselves and the script for the entire final season was trodden in place. But “Magic Precinct” shows the character of Koli Naumov exactly from the side from which we wanted to see him in the “final tour” – cheerful, interesting, with a light.
There was a "Real Boys" attempt to enter the territory of fairy tales, when the full-length "Against Zombies" was released, but it was so weak and not interesting that we, fans of the original series, were directly upset. Now is the time to work on the mistakes. Yes, only Kolyan migrated from “Boys” to “Precinct”, but this is enough to feel the spirit of his favorite series in a new shell. In the new series from Okko, you can feel that childish recklessness, ease and humor that exactly falls into the viewer, for which the first seasons of “Boys” were famous.
The Magic Precinct itself is something we have long been missing. There is nothing more interesting to us than our stories. It doesn’t matter how old the viewer is – 10 or 50. All these gnomes, house ones, Babki Hedgehogs, Koschei, Gorynychi Snakes are very close to our viewer, and when all this fabulous “family” is also transferred to our time and added relevance, then watching the series turns into a fascinating tale for the night, for adults and their children. Yes, the series is primarily for adults who are not only familiar with fairy tales and fairy-tale characters, but also with the rules of adult life, where everything is oh like not everything is unique. Not always the conditional Ivanushka is a fool, and Baba Yaga is a negative character. Everything is conditional and many factors must be taken into account. That’s exactly what happens in the “magic plot.”
Special effects, music, heroes, procedural stories and the main canvas - all this fascinates you in the evening, when you really want to relax from everyday life and just relax. Humor from Sobolev, characteristic characters (what only Rusal is worth) - all this not only deserves attention, but also will remain in memory for a long time.
Looking forward to it!
It turns out that in our world fabulous creatures live next to people. Of course, there are those who commit crimes. It is to prevent crimes by fairy-tale creatures using fabulous inventory that there is a secret police department to combat magical crimes. Alyosha Popovich, or rather Alexei Popov, is a former sniper who, experiencing a difficult moment in his life, tries to establish not only his existence, but also to find a common language with his sister and her little niece Vasilisa. Leshe is going to have a difficult test. And yet it is not clear what is more difficult - the capture of fabulous bandits or become a reliable support for their new relatives.
“Magic Precinct” is like a breath of fresh air in the endless carousel of criminal-depressive series. There is everything that your evening turned into a real session "Visiting the fairy tale" - and Baba Yaga, and Snake Gorynych, and Domova and even Rusal. Each new series is a new adventure and test for Kolyan Alyosha, and all the series are connected by one interesting story. The main character is practically our Fox Mulder, who instead of aliens and demons fights with fairy-tale creatures, and instead of his missing sister, he has a niece found. Watching all this is very interesting and exciting. It is a pity that while available three series and waiting for each new series is just a test of exposure. I haven’t had it in a long time that I’ve been waiting so long for the new series to come out. She remembered her youth when she was burning. But maybe that's a plus.
I watched only the first available series, but already managed to enjoy not only the story, but also the unusual reincarnation of recognizable actors. In addition to Koli Naumov, who is directly trying on the screen and, despite the fact that he is very similar to his hero from “Real Boys”, manages to be interesting, such actors as Yankovsky in the role of the mysterious Raven appeared in the series; Dogileva, who, unlike the “Vampires of the middle lane” tried on a fabulous image of Baba Yaga; Derevyanko, who skillfully portrayed the Snake Gorynych – all of them harmoniously fit into the story and make the series a real event and very noticeable for domestic serial production.
“Magic Precinct” works in the plane of nostalgia, where you know not only the characters, but also music sends you straight to childhood. Special thanks to Nika Borzov, who with his song "Day as a day" very harmoniously managed to describe the mood that arises after watching each series. I will gladly watch the sequel, since the situation with Kashchei Immortal intrigue is no worse than any intrigue in “Method” or “Fisher”.
Kind, bright, high-quality, funny - all these epithets about the series "Magic plot" are not far-fetched, but fly out of the viewer after the end of each series. Yes, of course, there is room for drama, but I hope that everything will be resolved in the most magical way. So, while I am not discouraged and do not cook handkerchiefs, but just enjoy. I sincerely thank the creators for the mood that you create this series.
I only watched the first episode. At first it seemed that this was the worst thrash, but, anyway, the plot dragged on. Here, albeit with elements of parody of the Western police, even an extremely strange idea and even obscene language (but with its correct criticism), still, to laugh in one breath. Here I do not understand, seemingly childish, and seemingly adult - very life situations wrapped in a fabulous context. Separately, I would like to note Nikolai Naumov - 100500 percent fit into his role - how he plays himself.
In short, given the kids’ current awareness, I don’t think they’re going to discover anything terrible in this series. And the ideas are correct: the crime is followed by punishment, the man is responsible for his loved ones, an orphanage for the children of “illegal liars”, about choosing a slippery path by the deer, when they will not be able to issue documents.
Here are very difficult things very accessible, almost childish language.
It's been a long time.
Very fresh. Slightly in the theme of "Sergius against evil spirits", but much larger. Robbing invisible women is a godsend. That's what it means to give a fool a magic gran, oh hat. Well, the gnome-maternity burns. According to the results of 10 seasons of Real Boys, Kolya Naumov grew up, slightly smartened, although it is doubtful and ready for social growth. Even more so in the circumstances.
The main storyline is clearly drawn, subplot stories are also interesting, for twisted motives of fairy tales. I even thought about the hierarchy of the dark side of Russian fairy tale characters. No extra scenes, almost every interesting, do not want to rewind.
Excellent selection of actors, a very successful version of the rejuvenated head of the fairy-tale site, the adult version is slightly disappointing.
Picture, color and quite realistic, which gives the film some maturity. With well-recognized stamps that make both authors and viewers smile. Good music, swinging from retro themes to modern ones.
In the process of viewing there is a feeling that this is not an animated cartoon for adults.
"Alyoshka, we have Snake Gorynych! Maybe criminal. Dwarves! (c)
Leha is a former military sniper who has almost lost all life reference points and drunkenly numbs longing with alcohol. Suddenly, a sister appears in his life, who asks Leha to take up her head and become a guardian for her eight-year-old daughter Vasilisa. Of course, Alyoshenka can not leave Vasilisa Beautiful in trouble, but where to start? Could finding a job be a good step towards change? So our hero gets into a strange institution called the "Police Department for the fight against fairy-tale crimes." At first, Leha can’t believe her eyes, but very quickly draws in and uses her talents. This is where the real adventure begins.
The magic plot is an extremely unusual series. I would even say that you have not seen this in the domestic kaleidoscope of TV series. But the theme of confrontation with fabulous creatures in our time is incredibly extensive and multi-layered. I liked not only the prompting of interest in Russian fairy tales, but also how the creators of the series revive this interest.
First, the story itself is quite viable. The personal family drama of the protagonist becomes the impetus for abrupt changes not only in his life, but also in everyone around him. Drama, beautifully packaged in a fabulous procedure - looks great.
Second, the main actors. In addition to Koli Naumov, who finally closed Gestalt with “Real Boys” and looks with confidence on the “new day” of his career, a whole galaxy of our favorite actors lit up here. The first two available series allowed us to see in new images and Phillip Yankovsky, and Tatiana Dogileva, and Pasha Derevyanko and especially Ilya Sobolev, to whom the role of the gnome of the masturbation incredibly goes to the face. The entire cast skillfully interacts and watching the development of events is wildly interesting.
The series The Magic Precinct is incredibly beautifully shot. The subject involves constant use of special effects and they are actually very high quality. There are no annoying moments or frames that I would like to mock. It's very cool.
For me personally, this novelty from Okko was a surprise. I expected a standard, inert and sterile enumeration of all available wonders from the children's book Fairy Tales. And in fact, each character, be it Gorynych from Derevyanko, Baba Yaga from Dogileva or Dwarf from Sobolev, has its own background and its place in the narrative. Plus, there is an incredible amount of humor, which in some places is on the edge, but I am amused as a spectator noblely. This series is the very highlight that you sometimes look for in the evening in the hope of spending a cozy evening under the covers. I am looking forward to continuing the adventures of the glorious boy Alyoshka.
Former military man Lech is going through a difficult period of self-destruction. Mistakes of the past do not allow him to live quietly and the guy is slowly drinking. Suddenly in the life of Alexei there is a sister Katya, who complains of problems of a rather serious nature, forces the young man to change his life abruptly, take up his head and take care of a small niece Vasilisa. At first, Leha realizes that it is time to take responsibility. The first step towards change for Leha is a new job. However, it is absolutely incredible and even... fabulous. This begins the adventures of Alexei, who plunges headlong into the police everyday life of the “Department for combating fabulous crimes”.
Just as soon as I finished watching the final season of Real Boys (even a little sad, after all almost 15 watched the series and in fact grew up with it), as here “Okko” rolls out – a new series with Kolya Naumov in the title role. And what a subject: a fascinating police detective in the setting of children's fairy tales. Together with the main character, we will plunge into such a familiar and at the same time unknown world of house, dwarfs, trolls, invisibility hats, speedboats and other heroes and utensils familiar from childhood. From the first minutes, the series is fascinating and makes you look forward to the continuation - everything is like in childhood, when your parents read you bedtime stories and stopped at the most interesting place.
In addition to Kola Naumov, other beloved, famous and pleasant actors are also present in the series. Here and Tatiana Dogileva, who turned into the imposing Baba Yaga, and Philip Yankovsky, who depicts the mysterious Raven with a mysterious background, and Ilya Sobolev, with his primitive hilarious humor, is in his place. All this creative ensemble is as close as possible to the heroes and actors who delighted us in children's fairy tales. This is absolutely not “The Last Bogatyr”, which was licked by Disney. “Magic plot” is truly our story, with its epic and fabulous atmosphere, which will be well understood only by our people.
It is a pity, of course, that there is no opportunity to watch the whole series in a volley, since the intrigue of the first series makes you languish in anticipation - what will happen next and how the main villain Koschei Immortal (this is not a spoiler, it is immediately clear who the main villain in our fairy tales) is going to achieve their goals and what, in fact, these goals are. However, what a pleasant feeling of waiting for another portion of a “real fairy tale”.
Thank you very much for such a great series with our Russian soul. The series is made qualitatively, with a soul. No actors, no scriptwriters, no special effects specialists – no one on the set did not milon, but it is clear that they tried to the fullest. I am glad to find such a find as the series “Magic plot”. It will come to almost everyone, I recommend it!

In the thirtieth kingdom, in the thirtieth state lived one red fellow. Well done, Alyoshenka. Everything was fine, but the Serpent Green overcame the good man, why he longed, twisted and from time to time shook the sides of the local men. However, suddenly in the life of Alyoshka appeared sister Katerina with her niece Vasilisa, and everything in the life of Alyosha changed. He became responsible, took up his mind, tied up with the Serpent. And went to the state service in the "Department for combating fairy-tale crimes." And this is just the beginning!
I have been waiting for something like this on our screens. Our folklore is so rich – I kept thinking why our filmmakers would not take up the development of something like this. And there are many heroes, and stories, and plot intricacies with intrigues and secrets. And so my pleas (and probably not only mine) were heard and the service "Okko" presented its exclusive series "Magic Precinct". Believe me, it was even better than I expected.
The main role in the series – that is, the very Aleshenka – was performed by a real Russian boy Nikolai Naumov, who skillfully threw off the image of Kolyan and showed himself as a real versatile actor, showing a completely new hero in the series, in which the former “real boy” is recognized with great difficulty. On the pick-up he has excellent recognizable actors, such as Philip Yankovsky, Maria Akhmetzyanova, Andrei Dobrovolsky, Alexei Zolotovitsky and Tatiana Dogileva, who give birth to truly fairy-tale characters on the screen, and do not engage in curvature, as many viewers may prejudicially think.
Of course, the first series, which are available now for viewing, it is difficult to assess how cool the series is. However, even at this stage I decided for myself – the series turned out great. Such a drive, fun and childishly exciting series was not long ago. I sincerely advise you to read this series. I doubt that you can watch it with children, but teenagers will definitely be able to slip it – they will be interested. I am looking forward to what will happen to Koschei the Immortal, who has yet to gain full strength. Thank you for such a wonderful series!
