Sharing a sad experience. Throughout the film, I did not leave a nauseating feeling, and the credits finally caused a negative reaction. Is that your movie? What was important to me, as a spectator, in every aspect of it? Details:
1. Seventeen-year-olds. The main character has too much contrived and stupidly stuffed. He despises his mother, while actively writing letters to his father with wildly transparent philosophical overtones. Next, he's a virgin. Very realistic, because the frail in this picture Elijah Wood well can not pass for macho. Our Jones begins to shoot a tiny apartment, in the care of which proves to the viewer his independence in a secluded residence - no furniture, dishes, God, beds. But we still actively dream about our first sexual experience, even on the floor. The hero himself flies among pink ponies, asking for advice in his personal life from the same careless, and most importantly, single mother.
But he has supposedly cute neighbors. But personally, I am not attracted to the rude and worn-out character of Frankie Potente, not to mention the narcissistic actress performed by Mandy Moore. Without going into spoiler moments, I just notice the stupidity of the characters and the ambiguity of their actions to me. Why did the creators decide to reduce the “meter with a cap” with a lip at the age? What is romantic or instructive to learn from this story?
2. Unspecified budget here. I wonder how many of Benjamin Franklin’s faces went to film just one set – at home. For an hour and a half, we almost do not go beyond the boundaries of this living space, only move along the floors together with wild tenants, to which Jones likes to go to the “gull”.
3. Actor's play. No matter how exactly I breathe in the direction of the no longer elite three, there is nothing achy in their participation here. We made a couple of sour and sweet faces, and thanks for that.
The best teacher in life is experience. It is expensive, but it explains clearly. And in this movie, either a discount or free.
