Closed area An explosion at a chemical facility triggers the release of a toxin that turns people into carnivorous animals. The military blocked the sector, exterminating the infected, while our hero and others survive in a huge hangar.
Literally every year they release movies about zombies, most of which are either a thrash, or a passing picture, and it is very difficult to find an interesting and sane film. The plot of the film is not new, although in this genre it is very difficult to come up with something original, so the hope is only for a professional and interesting presentation of the script. The action of the film is not prolonged and the film looks dynamic, although the further we go, the faster the film slows down: if the beginning of the film was intriguing, full of action and interesting, then over time all this slowly plunges into the abyss, which indicates the shortcomings of the script, and only a couple of moments brightened up this acquired dullness. It should be noted that recently, this film has a very atypical original ending, a very bright ending, which is “the beginning of many horror disasters.” Very clever move!
Despite the simplicity of the film, it should be emphasized that many scenes turned out to be quite dynamic and tense, even in some moments you feel a wild suspense. Dead people are few, but they take qualitatively, because their concept is well worked out, with a wide reference to the classic dead, and makeup at a fairly high level.
I cannot single out the actors, because they played quite mediocre, and after watching, I literally talk about their efforts and heroes.
It is also necessary to emphasize good music, which sounds heavy and gloomy, thereby forming a genuine suspense, while the operator with the help of angles and colors graphically convey the atmosphere of the detached sector.
Bottom line: Medium-type atmospheric zombie-movie with a swing on the Walking Dead and 28 Days Later, which is worth a one-time viewing for horror fans, and especially zombie movies.
Personally, I liked the movie.
