To the horror I did not want to write a negative review of the new film about Thor, because here and jokes go well, and more or less a clear ending is, but still the number of minuses outweighs.
First, the types of the main characters, paradoxically, resemble casts from the neighboring company, namely the Guardians of the Galaxy. Thor in this film is like Peter Quill, alternately trying on the roles of a heroic and comedic character. Valkyrie is Gamora’s twin, a vengeful and militant girl who hides secrets about her past. The Hulk, after expanding his role and increasing the number of dialogues, turned into Drax with his flat humor. There are even their own Rocket with Groot, in the form of a stone-like rapper and an alien ninja.
It seems that Waititi did not scratch his head over the adaptation of comic book characters in the movie, but simply licked the finished images from the recently released film.
Secondly, the scenario is crumpled and has completely deadlocked moves and unfinished stories. Of course, the reason here is the ridiculous decision to combine two independent comics, in which the main characters were completely different characters. ' Planet Hulk' was a great story about a loner’s fight against tyranny, and the enlightenment of former slaves who realized who their true enemy was. But the MCU turned this comic into a piece of children's carnival for temporary and eternal teenagers. Thank you very much to the director, now we will never see the real planet Sakaar on the screen.
Third, in my opinion, the film is just a terrible mystcast. Incredibly annoyed the performer of the role of Valkyrie with her arrogant smile and empty expressionless face. It is difficult to say about the rest, their faces carefully concealed makeup and special effects, but turning the tragic and silent Korg, who lost all his fellow soldiers, into a feeble-minded chatterbox with a stupid voice, was of course worth the effort.
Fourth, the lack of extras. I was amazed to see that the entire population of Asgard, which is a whole world, a planet, is made up of several dozen people. What are the gods or kings of Odin or Thor? Judging by so many subjects, for whose evacuation one space boat is enough, they are no more than leaders, kings, so to speak, chairmen.
Fifth, until Disney and Marvel abandon the services of the company Trickster, and, for example, do not resort to the help of Weta, the Hulk will look on the screen incredibly clumsy and sham. Maybe that's why he doesn't have a solo album yet?
Summing up, we can express the fear that because of such a frivolous and formulaic approach to the comic book universe, on the example of the third Thor and SG-2, there is a serious risk of seeing the same and Infinity War, where the heroes of these films will play significant roles.
3 out of 10
Cool. Spectacular. Funny. This is how the third Thor can be described. The film was successful, there can be no dispute, it is a great attraction, with its own style, which is generally quite a rare phenomenon in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Not even the Guardians of the Galaxy were so funny. Great new characters in the face of Valkyrie and Grandmaster. Both of them are pretty caricatured. Finally, the Hulk (namely the Hulk, not Banner) was uncovered. But after watching, there was a feeling of understatement.
This is the end of the Torah trilogy. And there is a slight contradiction. There are several dramatic moments in the film, the Banner/Hulk conflict continues, and talks about Valkyrie’s tragic past. And it's all drowning in humor. The drama dissolves completely. Yes, humor is great, few comedies are so fun. But still! This is the final film about Thor, where the plot is built about the possible death of his world, his home. I’m not saying that it was necessary to make a full-fledged serious drama, but the balance towards comedy is too broken in this film. Do not think about it immediately during the session. I also think that the character of the Torah has changed (without any reason). Instead of a serious god of thunder, we are presented with a joker, sometimes a hysterical (that’s right). Again, I don’t mind adding some humor to the character, but the balance is broken. Only the main villain is less serious. But even her seriousness, her strong resentment and desire for revenge are drowning in the general atmosphere of humor and celebration.
At the end. I recommend watching the movie. It's a very juicy picture (you don't have to go to 3D for that). Excellent humor. Interesting action. But after the film remains aftertaste that a drop of seriousness films were not enough. Maybe it would be the best movie in the movie universe. And with previous films about the Torah, even comparison is impossible. These are completely different movies.
To begin with, Thor: Ragnarok is a comedy with mini-drama and special effects, or you can call it a big-budget circus.
My expectations and those of many MCU fans
Wow, Kevin Feige, Director of Marvel Studios announced that this film will be the most serious and dramatic, the jokes are over.
Really
'The film is a chic dispute no, you can see that Marvel mocked their characters' or people just said 'This is Marvel, what else to expect from them'
My opinion
I certainly knew there would be jokes in the movie, but to the point where the movie eclipsed Guardians of the Galaxy 2. Where did Kevin Feige watch when they made a circus out of this movie? Many jokes are certainly good, but otherwise a complete hodgepodge of clichéd gacks. When the whole room was laughing like crazy, I sat with a look on my face, like the character in the movie Idiocracy, when he was sitting in a movie theater and a movie about the priest was shown on the screen. I think this movie predicted a little bit of the future. The rest of the film is pretty good.
Brief description
The story follows the film Avengers: Age of Ultron, in the film after these events, two years have passed. Thor during this time was looking for the stones of infinity after the "Prophecy #39" & #39; and as we saw he found nothing, and in addition takes him prisoner Surtur. The first action scene is simply gorgeous, under Imigrant Song. The narration at the beginning is kind of ripped, but then you are drawn into this world, recently Thor was in Asgard, and already on Earth and so on. This is a true adventure film.
Characters
Tor has become more comical, it is plus and minus at the same time. He was comic in his films and The Avengers, but not as much as in Ragnarok. In the beginning you like it, and in the end you get tired of his comic character.
Loki is still what he was, but he will surprise at the end of the film.
Hulk somehow got to another planet, something I did not understand this moment.
Well, the Hulk remained in his character, as did Bruce himself, but it seemed to me that the Hulk/Benner was in a secondary role. Remember his scene in the Avengers, scattering these aliens around, smashing their ships, explosions everywhere. That's what I expected from him here, but it wasn't.
Hela is the next Marvel villain #17. I saw no motivation other than to take over the world. 'OF COURSE' - General Byson. And it appeared strangely, after someone died, you know, so this gentleman conjured up so that after his death Hela is released, is it possible? Very stupid. . .timely.
Music
The music is wonderful, thanks to the composer for these wonderful sounds. BRAVO!
Special effects
ILM has done a great job, of course, with flaws. At some point, the limp got really hot. The tub between Thor and the Hulk is made at the highest level. The explosions, the scenery, the creatures, the inhabitants of the planets are amazingly great.
Cameo (without them in the Marvel movie)
Cameo Stan Lee did not like, could do something better.
Cameo friend Affleck did not go, too could do something more ingenious. And why this actor I didn’t understand, he seems to have a career all right. If there was a Brendan Frazier, then I would definitely appreciate a cameo, because the poor guy is almost not taken in movies.
Goldblum in my opinion, he performed a cameo, since he does not much affect the plot of the film, he is so against the background and it was obvious that the actor had fun playing this role, the role of the Grandmaster.
Cameo Strange caused a smile, almost the same as in the scene after the credits of Doctor Strange.
Result
I liked the film and didn’t like it at the same time. But at least one thing is good, in Infinity War everything will come back to normal, and we will finally see the first part of the climax, where there will definitely be no humor ... well, I hope. . I hope... We’ll see what Marvel Studios will bring to us in their next film.
Get the movie your miserable 7 out of 10.
It has long been known that the guys from Marvel love to humor, and sometimes without measure, so by inviting a New Zealand comedian to the post of director, they did not lose, because the third “Thor” turned out to be the most crazy, but moreover, the most empty, with an endless stream of jokes – good or bad. Obviously, Waititi was not particularly interested in what happened before, since the characters adapt so quickly and change in accordance with a different and unusual setting for them. The primary here is the visual component of the picture, the emphasis on the bright atmosphere of the 80s and the notorious unrestrained fun in the cube. And it is not only in specific films, but also in the film business itself, when the producers try to please the viewer in every possible way, because if the Guardians of the Galaxy quickly won universal love, then Thor now seeks to resemble them, and it does not matter that he was not. And Ragnarok is not the death of everything, but a kind of noisy neighbor's party, where an eye will be taken out, then for fun.
Marvel hacked and earlier, hiding behind popcorn-movie - they say, and so it will go, but the vaitish "Thor" is the most vivid and stylish kitsch, where the creators were only going to cheer themselves and others, although more, probably, themselves. Thor and the Hulk unexpectedly find each other, acquire a cool alcoholic, not forgetting about Loki, who arranges pompous performances, and also demonstrate their skills and simultaneously try to eliminate the local apocalypse, which was muddy by the local Marilyn Manson in female form. Has anyone talked about solving the conflict (maybe villains?), elaborate dramaturgy, and characters? Hey, you nerd, it's a fucking superhero kinzo, relax and enjoy yourself, but don't overwork! After all, who needs complexity, better more humor to dilute the pathos, and even better - add more. With the gags, everything is cooler, and there is no need for any seriousness at the impending end of everything and everything.
Tyka is fooling around, then lets in a bit of drama to look at. The most epic, which begins closer to the final, does not last very long, not allowing the viewer to fully enjoy the exciting battle, although in theory it should be more dramatic than the last act & #39; Civil War' or on the same level. But the feeling of something tragic here does not smell: here everything turns into either another farce, or is resolved simply and effortlessly, as in a frivolous comedy, which, in fact, is the triquel “Torah”. It is clear that this is Marvel, but such an experiment, bordering on carbon monoxide thrash, knows no bounds. And he will be remembered only with bright colors and a meaningless set of scenes with sometimes tortured jokes. Maybe for ' with a beer of norms' and will do, but to do everything in balance and this time the marvelists definitely failed.
Since The Avengers first assembled in 2012, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has had its own implicit hierarchy. On the lower steps of the pyramid of spectator sympathies are Vision and Falcon: if they were not added to the series, then hardly anyone would miss them much. On the step above are Jeremy "Falcon's Eye" Renner and Scarlett "Natasha" Johansson. They are integral parts of the team, but so far, without their own films. At the top, of course, Robert Downey with Chris Evans, well established in solo films. But Chris “Thor” Evans serves as a counterweight to them: he has enough charm and charisma to prove himself in his own franchise, but the films about Thor resemble more some filling in the Marvel release calendar than real projects of Class A. They are able to entertain fans until the blockbuster heavyweights return.
The blame is not on Hemsworth, of course. Beneath this mountain of muscle and braided braids was always a gifted comedian who found it difficult to insert his five cents when Tony Stark was always crackling somewhere nearby. Fortunately, Thor: Ragnarok, Marvel’s latest adventure film, seems to have untied Hemsworth’s hands and given him a weapon stronger than a hammer: humor. With the exception of Guardians of the Galaxy, this film brings a great positive agenda to the comic book world.
Responsible for “Ragnarok” appointed New Zealand indie director Taika Waititi. Waititi managed to convey the author’s vision of comics: something completely strange and absurd with an admixture of humor (often “black”), both from the script and from the visual side, mixed with a typical comic book film. Sometimes it looks gorgeous, because of the unusualness, which is so lacking in many “conveyor” film products. But, from time to time, it goes to the Torah to the detriment and what is happening on the screen looks a little ridiculous.
So, for example, in Ragnarok, a very blurred beginning. In the first 15-20 minutes, an incredible number of events occur. During this time, several new characters are shown, reveal the incomprehensible ending of the sequel, bring comedy and action, put a funny cameo of Doctor Strange in the face, and finally introduce the villain in the performance of Cate Blanchett. In many ways, this turned out to be a weakness: Hella appears ... well, just out of the blue. She has no particular background or explanation as to why she has just appeared. It turns out that this was revealed in the remote footage ... and the reshoot of Ragnarok, made in a hurry, led to an overly crumpled and confused prologue.
But frankly, that's the only drawback. From the moment Thor gets to the planet Sakaar, where the plot of the Planet Hulk comic book arc is told in a simplified form, the action comes to life and is filled with great characters and gags. The best was probably the Grandmaster performed by Jeff Goldblum. That’s probably what you’d expect from Goldblum: intellectually detached, fearless, intelligent, but some petty and sadistic secondary villain. The worst thing I can say about him is that he doesn’t have much screen time. Personally, I wanted it to be more in the film, but not at the expense of cutting screen time Blanchett.
The second good new character was the ever-drunk Valkyrie, played by Tessa Thompson. She's such a cool lady with obviously a future romantic line with Thor. Tom "Loki" Hiddleston is back and why not? He is the most popular villain/anti-hero in the entire franchise, so when Hiddleston turns on his charisma to the maximum, the audience instantly forgets how much destruction he has caused in previous films. And the character of Carl Urban (Scurge 'The Executioner'), apparently had more screen time, but was cut during editing.
Implementation hasn't swelled. As mentioned, there is good humor. Sometimes it's kind of inappropriate and muted, but for the most part it works. As for camera work and design ... apparently, during the filming focused on “pop art” and classical fiction (“Flash Gordon”, etc.), filling the screen with crazy costumes, furniture of strange shapes and various machines made with an eye on the style of the famous comic book illustrator Jack Kirby. Friend of the late Jack Kirby, the father of Marvel Stan Lee once again received a mandatory and very successful cameo.
Ragnarok, the end of the world from Scandinavian tales, seems to be a serious mix even for superheroes, but unfortunately, as is often the case with Marvel projects, the adventurous aspects here are not so adventurous. The final third of the film (another endless battle) is as tedious as the beginning, but the comic chemistry of the top four (Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Tessa Thompson and Mark Ruffalo) saves the picture from degrading into a conveyor opportunistic product. I believe that “Thor: Ragnarok” is the film, the impression of which can improve at subsequent views, when in a calm atmosphere there is an opportunity to enjoy jokes that dilute not the best plot. The colorful, positive yet cold-blooded spectacle is at least the most original Marvel movie of the year. In a world of bloated superhero universes that get darker and harsher with each new film, finally someone organized a disco.

Marvel wouldn’t be Marvel if they didn’t make good and epic movies. But what I like even more about them is impermanence.
The studio does not want to get stuck in clichés and is constantly looking for new ways to interpret their own stories.
First a strong and soulful road movie in the face of ' Logan'. And now Ragnarok.
Taika Waititi created something. Ragnarok is an apocalypse in Scandinavian mythology. The end of all living things And in theory, we should be greeted by the smallest DC-style narrative.
But it's Marvel.
Retro style with a buffet of different humor, bright, colorful and fun. What? Ragnarok? To die, so with music!
The third torus develops in a different way than all previous films. Another look, another production. We're gradually being dragged away from the powerful drama and seriousness of comics into fun, starting with Guardians of the Galaxy. And if they still allow it, it looks like... A little, a little weird. It may be possible to relax before the third and fourth part of the Avengers, which will complete the third phase of Marvel and become something incredible. But I don't really like that approach.
What is the problem with the movie?
The plus and minus is humor at the same time. He's just everywhere. In every minute, in every action, in every frame. Every event is a joke (almost).
And that's bad.
There are very good moments in the film where you can build a magnificent drama that would take the heart, penetrate the soul and cut a tear. But any such moment slips into a joke, which begins to annoy. And instead of the words 'Wow, that was strong' your hand reaches to your face and you ask yourself 'Why?!'
And another downside for me. Marvel, why did you move so far away from mythology? This is not what I expected. In general, it's a non-canon.
But come on. Despite this, the pluses in the film are still more.
Imagine great space fiction of the 80s, mix it with Tron, add a ton of great humor and get a new Thor.
For all its shortcomings, it is something incredible. Excellent comic book with the coolest soundtrack and tracks, suitable as well as possible. So much classical electronic music from the synthesizer, the style of the 20th century, has never been in any Marvel movie. Guards don't count. It's just hits.
Colorful fights, excellent visual ... What a shame. It's just really cool.
But the biggest pluses for me are a lot of references and Easter (Hi Benedict), and the main villain.
Cate Blanchett as Hayla is great. So much charisma, gloom and freedom of action. He's kicking right in, not afraid. It's like the Joker got into it. Bravo.
And then there are spoilers.
Outcome: Amazingly colorful, incredible and simply cool movie from Marvel, which will not let you get bored. But it was humorous. So many great moments to ruin. . . Uh,
By and large, the whole plot has already been spoiled in the trailers and deprived of the narrative of the slightest hint of intrigue. However, this is the case when it does not matter in which direction the plot goes - it is already predictable, like a carousel in the park. It is much more interesting to follow the local mise-en-scene and dialogue - although they do not shine with depth, but laughter is given above the roof. The communication of the characters here does not just complement what is happening, it builds the lion’s share of the charm of the whole film. The writers abandoned any flirtation with the drama and largely sacrificed the logic of what was happening. There are holes and inconsistencies all over the storyline, but you just don't notice them, because at this point you're laughing like a fool at another joke. Marvel's signature humor enters into an uncontrollable chemical reaction with the charisma of each character individually and all of them combined and pours the nuclear mixture directly onto the viewer. Any hint of drama is framed by three-story constructions of humor, gags and banter, so it is impossible to hold on physically. It was as if the writers had been given full freedom of expression and started mocking their own past work. They will remember the nickname Thor, and the song of the Black Widow, and Loki’s tender feelings for the Hulk, and much, much more. Actually, here comes the main drawback of this mess - without proper preparation, some jokes will simply pass by, and for those who are in the theme of the entire meta-plot, the material will be above the roof.
To thank for the local circus is a young director Taika Waititi (' Real Ghouls', ' Flight of the Condors'); who brought the concentration of events to a new level. After this movie, all the previous ones seem slow and sticky. Here, one scene deftly replaces another and you are sometimes afraid to blink so as not to miss another twist. In addition, Taika very competently chose the style of the ongoing madness - a bright palette with acid colors that almost burn the eyes, and a soundtrack with transfusions of synthesizer melodies straight from the 80s. The perfect combination, coupled with a high concentration of special effects, create the right mood and entertain all two hours. Without hesitation of conscience, we can state that this 'Thor' the most fun of all, and even in the general meta-plot he easily does even 'Guardians of the Galaxy'.
Any good joke shoots if it is competently served, and with the presentation in the film everything is fine, because the number of stars in the cast begins to naturally ripple in the eyes. Everyone boasts a trademark charisma, and all together they form such a crazy cabbage that any previous gathering of the Avengers & #39; nervously smokes in the sidelines. The actors are entertained to the fullest and tease each other without conscience - from cheerful monosyllable dialogues to subtle facial expressions - everything serves to maintain the atmosphere of a local holiday.
The fact that Chris Hemsworth ('Thor', 'Race'), who played the main role of Thor, will be trimmed, has become known for a long time. Goldilocks has finally lost his thick poop (not without the help of Stan Lee, by the way) and now flaunts a practical boxing haircut. To pinch, Chris will not only be a haircut, but also a pumped torso, and in a couple of scenes he will laugh with falsetto. Otherwise, it is the same Thor as in the previous parts, except that by the end it will show itself in all its glory.
Tom Hiddleston ('Coriolan', 'Night Administrator') as Loki is an inexhaustible source of charisma that makes Chris a great campaign. Their ' fraternal' skirmishes are fun to follow, and the moment with throwing cans turned out to be extremely memorable.
Mark Ruffalo ('Island of the Damned', 'The Avengers') is back as the Hulk and Bruce Banner, and it’s hard to tell which one is better. Everyone has their own star moments and in both cases there are reasons to have fun. In general - it is the trio of Hamsworth, Hiddleston and Ruffalo played more than others, and ' the moment of reunion' all three are full of references to previous films.
Cate Blanchett ('Aviator', 'Babylon') as the main villain Hela turned out bright, if the word applies to her black tight-fitting jumpsuit at all. The character turned out to be at least curious, although regular picture shooting / dressing a horned helmet with stroking hair looks a little strange.
Idris Elba ('The Dark Tower', 'The Wire') and Karl Urban ('Star Trek', 'The Bourne Supremacy') got their episodic roles and performed them very well. Tessa Thompson ('Creed: Inherited Rocky', 'Take a Step') has become a decoration of the picture to some extent, except for the funny moment with drinking. But the Gradmaster of the planet Sakaar performed by Jeff Goldblum ('Fly', ' Independence Day') is a true gem in the local collection. His character is bright, and funny, and crazy, and even plays on the synthesizer!
It wouldn't be a Marvel movie if every frame here wasn't oozing with computer graphics. It is understandable - two dozen third-party studios on visual effects did not just spread across all the credits. Only occasionally the backgrounds fall a little and look artificial, but otherwise - the effect of full immersion and fireworks bright colors. The soundtrack pleases synthesizer compositions of the 80s and a cheerful selection of the soundtrack, but the unfortunate Immigrant Song was driven to the holes - to include the same melody for all dynamic battles - as clumsy.
'Thor: Ragnarok' this is an extremely stupid but beautiful picture. The actors literally enjoy the ongoing idiocy and plunge headlong into the local clown cycle. Bright picture, acid colors, synthesizer music from the 80s, maximally full of pathos dialogues and signature Marvel humor form an excellent entertainment spectacle for a good two-plus hours, which you spend with an idiotic smile on your face. This is the case when the more delusional, the better! You turn off your brain and enjoy a scattering of special effects that cannot hide the charisma of each character. The trio of Hamsworth, Hiddleton and Ruffalo conquers with each joint scene more and more - here, of course, it is better to be aware of all the previous & #39; skirmishes & #39;, but in general, and without this there will be something to laugh at. The soundtrack is saturated with nostalgia for the 80s, but with the use of Immigrant Song still overdone - you could find other ' incendiary & #39; melodies to find - but the director Taika Waititi is still not James Gunn, to ideally select the music. But with self-irony, everything is fine here and the actors do not stop mocking themselves and each other - and this is beautiful.

The new work of Marvel leaves no doubt about the choice of its target audience. It is not for nothing that it is released on school holidays.
The seventeenth film of the Marvel Cinematic Universe has seen the light of day. The viewer saw the light of both sides of this medal. And if the corporate exterior gloss blinds with its splendor, then from the plot moves you sometimes want to go blind.
While watching in the cinema is guaranteed to hover the aroma of the audience's sympathies, but should emotions cool down, as a cold mind will put everything on the shelves.
I suggest you walk through the packed racks and see what the new “Thor” turned out to be “excellent”, and for what the film can be put a greasy “minus”. In order not to scare off a potential viewer, let’s start with the bad one, and let the good one be remembered by the last sentence.
"Thor: Ragnarok" is absolutely meaningless. Even on the scale of a comic book movie. Don’t look for a moral message. The creators simply did not put it there. If you want some thoughts, revisit Spider-Man: Homecoming.
The film has a flat plot, like a bust of a top model. Thor jokes, Loki cheats, Hulk yells, Hela kills, Valkyrie drinks. Everyone fights in different combinations. Periodically, this design is sucked into the plot holes, like “on the shores of Norway” or “houses near Strange”. This is the first time a Marvel movie has so blatantly delayed timekeeping with unnecessary scenes. A crisis of ideas?
The casting director would do well to ask how and why Jeff Goldblum leaked into the film and why the Valkyrie became black. Or the Afro-Scandinavian Idris Elba in the role of Heimdall the viewer has already met?
The credit/after-credits scene has always been a strong feature of Marvel. But the second film to the series is marked by its degrading trend, when the viewer who sat for ten minutes studying the names of the creators, let in the face of its meaninglessness. Smells like evil trolling. Is it a crisis of ideas?
Not everything is so clear in the Danish kingdom. Although “Thor” is not without sin, branded marvel’ovshchina and cinema security suppress the desire to throw a stone towards the screen.
"Ragnarok" is a chapito in Marvel's signature colors. Bright, colorful, childish. There are no human deaths on the screen, and not a drop of blood has been shed from the fallen characters. For some time, viewing in 3D pleases the eye and helps the viewer feel like a full participant in the action.
Tor-3 is fun. Chris Hamsworth gets the most screen time, which means that a developed sense of humor is the predominant exterior feature of the film. "Thor: Ragnarok" is a comedy, the creators of which are no stranger to self-trolling, which does them the honor. Without completely ridding the tape of clichés, the authors wittyly beat them than they have to themselves.
This film has a strong soundtrack. Become a general dynamic. With the exception of a few plot sags, “Thor: Ragnarok” resembles a marathon runner at the peak of the distance – catching his working rhythm, without slowing down, he moves in the direction of the finish, captivating the viewer. The music doesn’t let the observers relax. Starting with the main theme from the trailer and ending with music under the final credits, the soundtrack of the film elevates the audience’s involvement to a degree and maintains the degree of heat at a high level.
According to the totality of all factors, Thor: Ragnarok is a children's comedy in which the semantic load is inversely proportional to the color scheme. Lovers of intellectual cinema at the show will not be interested. For everyone else to easily end a hard day, the film will do.
And again on the screens around the world another series of the most expensive series in history. As I’ve said before, I’m pretty skeptical of Marvel. They make movies that are monotonous, with very simplified cinematography, which makes me more like DC, although they have other problems. This time we will talk about probably the weakest part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, right about Thor.
The previous parts of the Thor were dull, vomiting parasites. Thor was a very one-sided hero, so I was more interested in watching him, not the other characters, including his half-brother Loki. In the 3rd part, which is very different from the previous ones, the focus more or less shifted towards the one whose name the film bears. The film was interesting to watch, the pace of the film is good, there is some problem with humor, apparently this trend is such, taken from the Guardians, you need more jokes below the waist, no, at first it is funny, but then it is very infuriating, sitting next to me: some dad with their spin-rats, but surprisingly they were calm and just watching the film, sometimes laughing, but here were 2 TP, God it was their vile giggle me just drove me crazy, they came with some kid and all their attention was on him, but it was not on me. But I got distracted, oh yeah, I wanted to go to action, well, it's just above all praise, everything is spectacular, epic and beautiful, except for the fight on the Quinjets or whatever they call it, it was boring.
Now to the minuses, the picture wears out of my head so quickly that I already went after watching for study, I forgot what was in the film at all. The second disadvantage is oversaturation, only Thor’s journey to Sakaar could be dedicated to the film, and there his sister Hela seized the throne, Ragnarok is close, etc. Oh, Hela, so she's garbage, empty (full and hopeless drain), the tandem of Loki and Thor is still good, the Hulk is green, big, speaks a little more coherently, the ass was shown, about the urinal joke, hurrah. Valkyrie, well, she seemed the funniest, at least I laughed at her the most. All right, well, Strange was, uh, funny, man, I'm saying he's oversaturated, I wish Hela had more time.
In total, we have 4-5 more or less cool scenes, 8 frames that when the film comes out I will definitely find and savor, that’s for sure. And so this is a very good entertainment, who gives a shit about directing, colorcorr, character development and so on. Well, as usual from me, Marvel give something serious, Logan showed that such a movie the masses can also go, it's time to grow somewhere else, but Hela there just tears up and sweeps everyone, and without a blood looks dull, OK I'm finished.

I love Marvel movies, every new one is an event for me. And the more painful it is for me to be the one who writes the first ' negative' review, although it is not negative.
I know there’s a lot of humor in Marvel movies. But it’s a bit too much, closer to a cartoon for children, not a movie about the destruction of the gods. Forget about Ragnarok. Just remember some of the previous films. In HJ1, Tony Stark himself was responsible for the jokes, which is normal. There were funny situations in the first Torah, but the characters were not clowns. Thor 2 seemed to me too frivolous film. Although I liked it, and the jokes came along, I wanted Marvel to stay more adequate and close to life (as much as possible). Guardians of the galaxy is still a separate topic, there is its own atmosphere and completely different heroes.
But the third part of Thor turned the movie universe into a circus! It is difficult to talk about this without spoilers, but the general picture of the ladies.
Finding a character in this movie is very difficult! Almost everyone is a joker and inadequate. The main one here, as you might guess, is Thor himself. If before he knew how to be sad, to be serious, to worry about something, now he, to put it mildly, behaves like a child. Okay, his brother (by the way, even Loki looks more serious this time), he's by definition that, but Thor should rule Asgard! He is responsible for the lives of people, for order in 9 worlds. If he grew up in previous films, now is the time to degrade. There is also the Hulk, who previously played the role of a cheerful thug, but now this role is elevated to a cube and looks very strange (often seen the sociable Hulk humorist?). And the same can be said about most of Ragnarok's participants. It's scary to imagine what would happen if all the Avengers were like that in the next movie! That’s why I’m worried about the impact of this film (and its successes) on the future of the movie universe.
Villain Hela looks dangerous and invincible, but still replenishes the collection of Marvel villains who just love to destroy everything (with motivation ' Dad did not like' ' revenge for something' and all that).
Many characters of the previous parts of Thor were merged at the beginning of the film, they will not be remembered later, everyone just did not care about them.
And yet I got a great pleasure from the film, so I have to paint its pluses:
1) Picture. A new planet, fights, characters - all this looks spectacular and colorful. In style close to the last Guardians of the Galaxy;
2) The movie doesn't get you bored. It’s interesting to see something happening all the time. Fights, jokes, interesting locations. I would like to name the plot, but I have a feeling that it does not exist;
3) Music. I think you got it from the trailer;
(4) Joy for a geek. It’s always nice to see your favorite comic book characters on screen! Hulk vs. Thor, cameo favorite heroes. What else does it take to be happy?
It seems that the pluses are less, but they play a big role. They will be enough for the bulk of the audience to have a great time.
If you switch off and imagine that all previous films have ceased to exist, you can enjoy watching. I did, but when I see the majority of the audience (especially the critics) praising the film, I get scared about the future of my favorite characters. Marvel will enjoy the fees and high marks, and we will continue to enjoy the colorful spectacle with a thousand inappropriate jokes on the stage. Leave it to the Guardians of the Galaxy.
Movie of Missed Opportunities or It's a Fiasco, Bro
"I fell in the dark for thirty minutes!" Everyone fell with them. Hit bottom. But they knocked from below.
I thought I'd never be weaker than the first Avengers.'I've never been so wrong.' I didn’t expect much from this movie from a certain point on. When the name Ragner was first announced, I was delighted. But happiness didn't last long. The first time I realized that it was necessary to calm down the ardour – after the first trailer, when instead of the End of the World they showed grilled landscapes of the devils of what. The second was when I came across Waititi’s words that he wanted to add to Deadpool’s movie. This desire, perhaps, best describes what was done to Ragnarok.
I gotta give Taika credit. Not everyone can take and miss all the opportunities that the horizon of this film opened for him.
Why?
1) Reflect: Ragnarok. The end of the world. A pile of deaths (who is familiar with myths – will understand), the coming of the Scandinavian Devil – and further according to all the canons of the religious genre. What did you initially decide to bet on in the film? Humor. In the film about the end of the world - on humour. However, recently in Marvel brilliant, juicy and witty humor (Spider-Man and Doctor Strange especially pleased, but in Guardians 2 the stick was bent, it was already sweet). But a good part of the jokes here was simply inappropriate. Instead of scale, we were given seconds. Fifteen? a real battle with the Valkyrie and the goddess of death.
Bottom line: missed the opportunity to make the most epic drama in the history of Marvel, and not sporadically – a whole film.
(2) Landscape, the world in which everything happens. Instead of a blazing Asgard, we are suddenly transported to some Mukhosransk with pictures of space junk, never like even the declared colored apartments for cool gladiators. Everyone praises the special effects – they are not impressed. The gladiatorial fight was frail, like the fights of malachole sparrows. And the computer Fenrir just killed.
Bottom line: the opportunity to immerse the viewer in the unique atmosphere of Scandinavian myths for the cinema universe is missed once again, for real, and not as in previous films.
(3) Music. It seems that Waititi did not give rest to the laurels of the Guardians of the Galaxy with their chic musical accompaniment. Again, there it was appropriate and juicy. Here on the homeless even the legendary Zeppelins sounded pathetic and ridiculous.
Bottom line: missed an opportunity to write a really cool track to the most powerful wall-to-wall in the cinematic universe.
(4) Actors. It's not their fault. It is difficult to play well with such a scenario.
Chris Hemforth. You can't do that. Well, you can’t play the same racer Hunt – and Thunderer Thor, who is already kind of wise after the second film, when (like) lost his brother and made such a conscious and respectable decision to protect the Earth. And don't understand why - he again becomes a completely stupid rocker, flat jokes. There is a regression of personality, has fallen below the level of the first 'Torah'. The most appropriate joke to this film is “Odin had two sons: one smart and the other Thor.” Even that single scene with the “silent woman” looked like a cuce, even there Loki looked wiser and older. Thor in this film is simply not interesting to watch, and as soon as someone else appears in the frame – anyone – all attention goes away.
Tom Hiddleston. Tom, beloved Tom. The one that made me jump headlong into Marvel's pool. You can't ruin an actor like that. Even the change of color design (apparently not to merge with the color theme of Hela) could not ruin it. The few scenes where he appears enliven the film. And not just because of his looks, which are crazy half of the fans of Marvel. It's his play. He doesn't have much text, but he makes up for it with his eyes. Scene: two sons and a father next to him - he does not need to say anything to make it clear what he has done, and what he feels about it. I just want to say, thank you for being here, Loki!
Cate Blanchett. I hated her since the Lord of the Rings, but she's stuck here. Her appearance was perfect for Hela. It's not as bad as expected, with facial expressions animating hopelessly lost scenes. But here's the gait of a patient with osteochondrosis with his hands out to the side at the end of the film tired.
Tessa Thompson. I didn't think I'd say it, but she hit the bull's-eye with this role. Of course, she does not pull on the new passion of Thor, but as a separate character she is very original and alive.
Idris Elba. I love him in that role. Good afternoon.
Mark Ruffolo. Just no way. Even the scene where they tried to replicate (or parody) the Hulk jump from the 2008 film was predictably disastrous.
Benedict Cumberbatch. It was a little bit inhumane.
Bottom line: missed opportunity to implement a star cast.
(5) Humor. Yes, here it can be recorded in the minuses of the film. Inappropriate. The most embarrassing moment was the scene in which the death of Loki in the last film was translated into a stupid joke and parody. In The Kingdom of Darkness, it was the most powerful scene on which only the soulless did not tear. I wanted to get up and leave the room.
6) Voice and translation. Plus one voiceover, and his name is the Russian voice of Hela. In the original, Blanchett voiced only toothpastics in the children's production of "Goosebumps." It turned out something worthwhile. I've noticed that Thor movies are traditionally translated and voiced badly. I don't even want to know what it is. The result is on the face.
7) I think I can go on with this list forever, but the last thing I want to say is: Logic. But this film is simply mercilessly ripped from the cinematic universe. The second film ended in such a sweet, magnificent intrigue that Oscar left so many questions: how did Loki survive, what happened to Heimdall and Thor's friends, how is Thor now on Earth? The audience waited a few long years. And we have not been given an answer to any of these questions (about the friends of Thor is a separate story). I won't spoil it, but it's a Trindian, comrades. Where's the connection to past movies? Where is the respect for past directors? To the story of Thor in principle? The viewer? The saddest thing is that the viewer, for the most part, does not care. "Gee, colorful pictures humor gygygy" - and normal. It's a shame, my friends.
Bottom line: full dissynchrony with the cinematic universe and black ingratitude to predecessors.
I don't want to compare the old rivals, but. DC lost to Marvel that year. I'm afraid Marvel will lose in this. Yes, the emergency became a masterpiece, but the weak Guardians of the Galaxy, and now this - in no way compare with the bright Wonder Woman. We're waiting for the league now.
Dear Taika Waititi! Please go get Deadpool. This slag will not lose anything from your intervention.

Only out of respect for Hiddleston and the first post-credits uchi way scene.
In ancient times, kings kept jesters at court. Innocuous crooks amused the royal guests, filled the spacious halls with their poems and dances, and none of those present tried to look for any meaning in this. And let these royal comparisons be too loud for Marvel - they now have a jester, too, in the best sense of the word.
The decision to connect Taika Waititi to his assembly line - a humorous experimenter who has hilarious works behind his soul, and a sincere love of cinema, is bold and winning. His disregard for the standards of storytelling, and the ability to manage improvisation, was necessary obese Marvel conveyor. Unobtrusiveness and openness to the viewer, presented in the form of jokes, funny moments and the Hulk’s naked ass, drain the pathos inherent in films of the Universe into the toilet, leaving only drive and carefree.
“Thor” has no beginning, the conflict and motivation of the characters are obvious, and the finale, combined with two post-titer scenes, is informative. But the fun that the film radiates is so charming that even minute-by-minute jokes seem appropriate. Bypassing the battered plot of father and son (in this case, sons), and not fixating on the topic of saving the world, Waititi decides to focus on the heroes, and with frightening accuracy outlines each of them with the help of situationality. He doesn’t want to start and finish everyone’s story. He is more interested in filming not a whole segment of the life of Thor, Hulk, Loki or Valkyrie. It works on the algorithm of Facebook or Instagram, which at the end of the year show us the key moments of the outgoing year. And here everything revolves around the moments: the first meeting of Thor and the Hulk, Hella’s invasion of Asgard, the memories of Valkyrie, and even the opening scene of the film, which does not ceremony with the viewer. These are all small cuts, which have a starting point, and a landing point, and which, as a result, were assembled into a two-hour film, steeply edited, slightly scalded in terms of graphics (the backs are in places like a sidab, and this is with a budget of 180 million), decorated it with some old synth pop, and brought on a plate with an acid-green rump.
The character of Thor was originally positioned by Marvel bosses as being able to joke and injure a superhero. And if before Ragnarok, such a background was facilitated by his misunderstanding of the modern world in which he found himself, then there is already a demonstration of its characteristic features: never lose heart, even in the most stalemate situations, look for a solution in the most crazy ideas, selflessly rush into battle. And it's a mistake to think that Hemsworth's humour is too much this time. Judge for yourself - no less charismatic and funny heroes were placed around Thor. A raging Valkyrie, which blows sex and overcooking. A grandmaster who is sometimes played as a schoolboy, not as the founder of gladiatorial fights to the death. A sarcastic Loki, still wanting power, and still crookedly realizing that desire. You know, it's hard to be serious in a company like this. And why? And it is worth admitting that in such an environment it is difficult to think of a coherent villain, with whom the studio has always had problems (Brolin, don’t let it down!), and that is why Blanchett could not break the stereotype, and also fell into the number of nondescript villains of the movie universe, noting only the charisma of a hypnotic smile.
Marvel has never had the same tone in their films. There were the uncouth Guardians of the Galaxy, the psychedelic Doctor Strange, the pretentious Avengers. They all share one story, but nothing more. And if someone can be attributed to gloom, as for example, the second “Cap”, and this is appropriate, then why not attribute to the third “Thor” frivolity and slackness. In fact, "Ragnarok" - all the same detail of one large designer "Lego", differing only in color, but fits into the "building" of this designer. Well, as we all remember, there are always a lot of flowers in Lego sets.
As a wrestling enthusiast, I often argue with my friends that these are cardboard fights that carry nothing in themselves. Ordinance and deception. My main argument for this has always been two words: pure entertainment. A show that is not shy about its staged fights, and bribing the show itself: long promos, unexpected returns, betrayals of teammates, about which only writers know, epic music, and no less epic fireworks. So, Ragnarok is a personal Wrestlemania for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It does not oblige you to judge or judge him. He doesn't need critics or academic nominations. This film is not ashamed of being empty. And this emptiness is not in relation to the viewer, it is only an instrument. Therefore, if you keep this moment in mind before the trip, it is full of kaifanet. And if you wait for what Marvel cooked for you, you will probably be outraged by the emptiness and coolness in your head after the session.
But this is not a product problem - this is a perception problem, sorry.
10 out of 10
The director of the film in one of the interviews said that he wants to make the third Thor funny, funny, so that the viewer was not bored and was delighted with the film. And he succeeded, the film became really funny, sometimes funny even hilarious. If we consider the line of films of the cinematic universe, we can say that important events for the cinematic universe that take place in the film can be placed in a two or three-minute scene after the credits. But I will consider this film as an independent work.
The main thing, for me, is the production of fights in the film, of which there were plenty. All the fights were well staged: the extras, the main and secondary heroes, everything was at the highest level.
Pluses include humor (although for the most part this is a minus, as the film had more fun moments than good funny jokes), acting (especially Cate Blanchett) and beautiful landscapes of Asgard and Norway. Let’s get to the bottom line.
The first disadvantage is the simplicity of the plot. The main character travels from point A to point B to save people. The second disadvantage is Marvel’s dependence on Disney. The presence of blood would completely change the perception of the film. In fights where people are stabbed, the presence of blood would not hurt.
In the end, the film was not bad for people who go to the cinema for a fun pastime.
Solo films about the god of lightning from Asgard were shot by different directors every time. As a result, in each of the three films, the next director brought something of his own, changing the general mood and presentation form. Especially strongly from the previous two films stands out is “Ragnarok”, the reason for which is the choice of the studio in the person of Taika Waititi, whose name became known to the public thanks to the comedy “Real Ghouls”. The New Zealand merryman was given full carte blanche in the work on one of the main members of the Avengers, which led to a complete change in the polarity of the narrative of the adventures of the mighty son Odin.
The main difference from everything where the hero of Chris Hemsworth used to figure, waving his superhammer, is an abundance of humor. In Ragnarok, everyone jokes, except, perhaps, the central villain performed by the magnificent Cate Blanchett. Bad character or good, real or painted, big or small. Everyone burns as much as they can, regardless of whether it is appropriate or not. Therefore, first of all, this is a real comedy, rather than a superhero action. A variety of jokes is also presented in a wide range from classic gags with falls and blows of objects to multi-level plot fun.
However, for the sake of such a limitless delay, something had to be sacrificed, namely the script. No, no, just don't think the script is bad. But he also does not claim the title of genius. Let's just say the script is good enough. Some plot inconsistencies, sometimes attracted by the ears for minimal logic of what is happening, a torn change of locations, weak secondary lines ... All this is in large quantities, but does not prevent the film from creating an easy and upbeat mood. Just in the first quarter of the film you accept the conditions in which you are offered not to look for traces of high literature and difficult to digest food for the brain. The rules are simple: “Have fun and have fun.” Only in this case, the manufacturer guarantees the pleasure of viewing.
Involuntarily, the idea of comparing the third Thor with the Guardians of the Galaxy comes to mind. Indeed, in general, “Ragnarok” turned out to be more like the adventures of Star-Lord with friends than any other picture from the successful movie universe. So I would say it’s the best Thor in the trilogy, but it’s still a long way from Guardians. Here's why. In the galactic dilogy of James Gunn, there is no more humor, but there is a scenario with multilinear development of characters and their parallel personal branches, which are very harmoniously intertwined and do not interfere with each other. Remember how in the second part of “Guardians” managed not only to touch, but also to fully reveal all secondary lines. Peter's relationship with his father, Peter with Yondu, Peter with Gamora, Gamora with his sister, Rockets with Yondu, Drax with Mantis... Plus the theme of team cohesion with the participation of all members of the heroic five. First of all, there were no questions left on any of these lines, since each had a beginning, a development and a logical result. And secondly, all these branches went hand in hand with the main plot direction, not distracting from it, but saturating the overall taste of the film, as dishes in general.
It's not like that in Thor. Taika Waititi showed that he knows how to joke very well and make the viewer have fun to the fullest. But maintaining the harmony of the narrative has yet to be learned. Although, Ragnarok can no doubt be called a successful experience of the director on the project, which has a huge responsibility to the multimillion army of fans. But in general, Marvel continue to move on the powerful and 17 times (namely, so many films have already been released) proven rails of its cinematic universe, consistently bringing dizzying income. They do not take risks and try to give out exactly the product that consumers expect. Someone this monotony is already beginning to get bored, and someone with a furious squeal of delight is waiting for another film. In any case, both continue to leave money in theaters, and superheroes, if possible, justify this spending.
What's good: humor, jokes and mood. The new hairstyle of Torah
What's wrong: script and story. But in this case it is forgivable.
Best moment: I can't pinpoint one big and bright. But there are a lot of cool micro-moments.

So, a brief impression of the film Tor Rangarok without spoilers for the plot and the answer to the question, how many videos after the credits in Tor Rangarok - all below your attention!
Well, one of the most anticipated films of the second half of the Marvel universe — started at the box office. In order not to reveal any plot intrigues - just impressions of the film.
Thor Rangarek turned out very colorful. You should watch it in 3D and preferably IMAX. The drawing is amazing, not exactly Dr. Strange, of course, but very close. Animation and picture on five plus.
Thor Rangarek turned out to be quite funny, but not exclusively funny. There are a lot of jokes in the film to completely "reproach" - only one moment is remembered, in the rest - just smile for a variety of plot.
And here's the story... Of course, I wanted more. There will be a lot of Hulk in the film, but what many people expected from Thor Rangarek – the ties to Infinity War, Crystals of Destiny and intersections with other storylines of the Marvel Universe – this will almost be nothing, alas. The film is very autonomous in itself and will cling to the universe in a minimum. So we expect the next round of the development of the cinematic universe only on the “cabbage” with the Infinity War.
Yes, Tor Rangarek has good jokes, a rather dynamic plot, great graphics, but for some reason WOW did not work out. Sometimes events stall and sag a little. Not long, but moments. Sometimes it gets boring. Although generally interesting. But for some reason, after leaving the hall, I personally had the impression that I liked TOP-2 more. And Rangarok began to give something like Star Wars. Too much intrigue and epic, too little meaning. But that's just an opinion. The only thing that I liked is that the character of the Hulk in the film made more meaningful and interesting.
Totally. Great graphics, easy jokes, a good story, but with a slight lack of dynamics and surprises, drama or some kind of chip. There’s another movie in the universe, but it won’t be remembered as vividly as the same Ant Man, Iron Man, Doctor Strange, or Spider-Man reboot. Not bad, but not wow
A month before the premiere, Western reviewers were saying it was Marvel’s best comedy, that it was a superhero cover circus (in a good way). This led me to some doubts, is it good for a film about Ragnarok, about the death of the gods?
Of course, I no longer expect Marvel to plunge into the futility of being, into an insanely serious attitude, no, the cinematic universe has a different tone. I come to have fun, enjoy colorful action, great humor and the continuation of the story, which is developing for 17 films (and 11 more TV series and 5 short films, but now not about that). And Thor 3 provides all these pleasures. But I don’t like characters that are created just to pour out laughs and jokes, and there are such here: Korg and Miek. They simply spoil any dramatic moment, cut them out and the plot does not suffer a single gram, and the seriousness of the film will grow many times. That would not be them and in the end, perhaps, would flaunt the cherished 10 out of 10,
The rest of the humor at a quite high Marvel level, contributed to this by Thor himself, who without a hammer lost his becoming and became much more ridiculous. And in general, every character here tries to joke at least once for the film, except Heimdall, which makes his presence even more severe and spectacular.
The development of Loki and Thor’s relationship from hatred in the first two parts and the Avengers has changed to absolute indifference on the part of Thor and it is much more infuriating to Loki himself. The Hulk story is also quite vivid, interesting and takes about 20% of the time. But most of all, I was pleased with Dr. Strange, his appearance was limited to a couple of minutes, but during this time it became clear that he would be a real competitor to Thanos, since the time of his solo, he did not stagnate, but made maximum emphasis on the development of abilities (I think this is my favorite in the movie universe).
Hela has good motivation (which is not typical of Marvel villains), she poses a real danger to Thor, but too little action was given to her, in fact, just comes to Asgard, hangs a lula and sits waiting for the end. And Surtur is an analogue of Dormammu, a big evil that simply does not get screen time.
Worth attention and visual range, sometimes very beautiful shots flash, not running on the blade, but close.
Even with a bunch of spoilers, the film managed to surprise me with its ending, very successfully camouflaging everything in the trailers. This is the best part of the Torah.
We come from the land of the ice and snow / From the midnight sun, where the hot springs flow
W'ell drive our ships to new lands
To fight the horde, and sing and cry - Valhalla, I am coming!
It's just an ugly thing! Sure, in a good way. Quite a rarity: to use the song from the trailer in the film. And then they need to tighten their memory to remember something like this. But Taika Waititi took and decided himself ' walk like that' therefore, the film will sound twice Led Zeppelin - Immigrant song. To use this song is an arrogant way to the heart of the audience, but it works. As for the high-profile title ' Ragnarok', partly justified, partly not. Let's work with expectations.
On we sweep with threshing oar // Our only goal will be the western shore
Waiting: Ragnarok is the end of the world. So I don't care about humor, I want to see great destruction. So, well, there's drama and tears and sadness. Everyone has to get to Valhalla to be cool always.
This is 'Marvel' This is a prelude to events in 'Infinity War'. Therefore, all of us know that a well-known company should meet again in its entirety. Your favorite characters will still be breathing. But the Torah was pretty rattled. Forget about his hair. It's flowers. Everyone is waiting for Ragnarok in the film, but he has a completely different functional task. What? We have to go to the movies. Characters in the framework of their reality behave seriously, but the atmosphere of general fun never goes away. Well, there are some where not.
Expectation: Down, then history will be close to Scandinavian mythology, so that there were Vikings, Valkyries flew everywhere, and Odin will show everyone the Kuzkin mother. I don’t want to be fooled by jokes.
This is 'Marvel' Benedict Wong plays Wong. What Scandinavian mythology?! Yeah, there's probably a general aura of a bygone era, but here's the comic, guys. Bruce Banner can walk around without a spacesuit on an alien planet! And the dark Valkyrie drinks like a drunk. Dr. Strange had some funny scenes. It is disrespectful to treat the gods like this! Game get help, jokes about the strongest Avenger, Tony Stark glasses, flying Korg with a soft voice. Yes, almost everything says that it is empty, but fun.
From the midnight sun where the hot springs flow
How soft your fields so green Can whisper tales of gore
Of how we calmed the tides of war We are your overlords
The whole film is a strange mixture of the studio and Taika Waititi himself. Funny, cheerful, cheerful film. Loki is already tired, but God rejoiced when the Torah was grabbed by the leg. Heimdall is also tired, wandering around with a sword-key in the woods. The three Warriors are more tired than the others: checked. Not to mention Odin. 'Ragnarok' generally marks the end for certain characters who won't show up anymore, which is why the director tries so hard to brighten it up. Don't think that's ridiculous. It's just fun around here.
On we sweep with threshing oar // Our only goal will be the western shore
Expectation: What are you going to do? Then it's a great badie movie. Thor and Hulk will understand why they need to work together. There will be lots of dialogue and lots of scenes. They'll give you a whipping.
This is 'Marvel' They don't care about badie-movie. Shared scenes between the two Avengers are enough, but they do not occupy the entire plot. There is no meaningful dialogue either. If only we could talk about Tony Stark's clothes again. They will fight noblely for the sake of the public, leaving things at each other. Overall, in 'The Avengers' it was noticeable how the two fit together. While the two captains in another movie are arguing for nothing, the two are just beating all the bad guys. So look, the plot is not much ' here are the twists '. You don't have to ask too many questions.
Waiting: To the angel of all! Then Cate Blanchett, this outstanding actress of our time, showed a beautiful villain. Loki looks like a puppy next to her. You're afraid of her and you don't want to mess with her. It doesn't slow down.
This is 'Marvel' Of course, she's not a taxi. The villain, as usual in the franchise, is not the Joker. Goddess of death, failed eyes, sharpened figure. You need to sleep with that. And Kate Blanchett is great, but not outstanding, so you will remember her only by appearance. Yes, it is an interesting story, but the fun around does not allow you to focus on it. In addition, the actions in Sakaar are given more time than the goddess. So relax and see what your beloved Stan Lee has done.
It is impossible not to correlate this film with 'matrix', there are so many worlds and they are all unique in their own way. Sometimes it is worth looking at the problem from the outside, and the place that gave you freedom turned into a starting point to new worlds, boundless and mysterious. All this makes sense in the struggle for the well-being of loved ones and a devoted people who feel protected and calm, being with their king. What Thor, the son of Odin, deserves to become.
- Asgard is not a place, but his people.
I can not say that this film will appeal to absolutely everyone, because of the outstanding presentation of both humor and the main problem of the film, but watching is certainly interesting.
Dr. Strange, Hulk, Thor, Loki, Valkyrie, Grandmaster, Hela and many others. Add to these characters great graphics, dosed plot, epic battles and you will get everything we love ' Torah'.
The scale of what is happening is shocked! Significantly increased the number of graphics compared to the first part, which only benefited. The plot became more dynamic: from the very beginning, we see action rather than pesky dialogue about morality and finding out who is better than who. What I liked most was that the Hulk finally spoke. Now this is not a faceless character who destroys everything left and right, but a full-fledged personality! I welcome this innovation!
I don’t have much to write about the minuses, but I would like to see more locations related not to urban landscapes, but to wildlife, for example, which is ready to kill you at any moment. It was possible to make the final battle a little longer and on a larger scale, the place at the rainbow bridge was tired, is there nowhere else to fight in Asgard?
I think the creators will turn on the fantasy and fix the little flaws in the next part. There are many options for another story. And most importantly, you already see it, which means the film turned out to be the right one.
I advise all those who are not looking for excessive drama, likes special effects, wants to relax and of course enjoy another successful project from Marvel.

Thor movies have always been the craziest in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. They had very few interesting features and they looked frankly boring. This is especially true of the sequel, probably the most depressing film in the movie universe. But here came Taika Waititi, a talented director who shot several wonderful comedies - came and shot Thor's best solo and one of the brightest films of the movie universe.
'Thor: Ragnarok'... At first, the plot of the film sounds like something very dark: the goddess of death, the death of Asgard. But Waititi decided to approach even this concept with humor. This is the most fun, most positive Thor movie, if not of the entire movie universe. Many people have a picture that Marvel movies are a simple set of jokes, but here everything has taken a new level. Sometimes third 'Thor' almost resembles a comedy, but ... successful. There is a lot of humor, but it often works. Not all jokes are appropriate, but in general Waititi once again proved that he and humor are a combination at the level of ketchup and fries (that is, good).
The relationship between the characters is also a big part of the humor. Their conversations were quite lively and, again, funny. Thor, Loki, the Hulk, everyone jokes, the creators laugh at each of these characters and also quite successfully. If we talk more about the heroes, then there are definitely no claims to the old ones. There is even a development in the relationship between Thor and Loki. But there are new questions. Blanchett chicly played the villain, in some moments her look even slightly frightening. But her motives are slightly (or not slightly) clichéd. It doesn’t negate all of its merits, but it could have been perfect, but it turned out... okay. I also wanted to learn more about the heroine of Tessa Thompson, the hero of Carl Urban turned out strange, but on the other hand we have a charismatic Jeff Goldblum, to whom I do not want to find fault at all and... still a great Stan Lee.
I also want to note that at first the film is very confused and quickly rushes somewhere. But after about half an hour, the problems with the pace disappear. And it is worth admitting that such saturation is partly good for the film, because it looks in one breath. The film is fine with the style - again, it's one of the brightest Marvel films. Bright and in terms of soundtrack, which very often surprised me pleasantly.
All in all, 'Thor: Ragnarok' this is definitely a movie worth watching. He's fun, he's exciting, stylish, but not perfect either. However, all the local shoals are not particularly significant, because mostly after viewing there are pleasant sensations. You will find a lot of surprises, one of the funniest cameos of Stan Lee and just two hours of quality rest. Waititi did turn 'Torah' from something boring to something truly driving.

Meanwhile, we are getting closer to 'Infinity War'. . .
Every year, Marvel delights and pampers us, presents us with novelties in the history of cinema, adds more and more new actors, impresses and shocks us with its scripts, redirects our consciousness to its bright and fabulous cinema universe, where we, without leaving the screen, enjoy the great moments of cinema. . .
I’ll just note the nuance: the film is not at all like the original and its sequel. The Triquel appeared to us completely new, updated. To some extent, this is an inspired restart. Taika Waititi did a great job and pulled Thor out of the "unpopular" among the Avengers. The film was the most hilarious and fun for the first time in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe!
This film project is a prelude to the most anticipated film next year: “Avengers: Infinity War”. The movie is quite grandiose, shot in the style of retro, humor is at the limit. The “Vaitish” film will blow your mind off and entertain you from the beginning to the end after 2 previous rather serious films. Very witty, but lame plot.
Acting to the fullest! I finally saw the real characters, not through those rose-colored glasses. And the new addition justified its expectation. Chris Hemsworth is fully integrated into the role of Thor. It was the first time I saw him enjoy filming. Mark Ruffalo finally realizes that Ragnarok is his solo film for his character. The Hulk has changed a hell of a lot. What about mischievous girls? Oh, wildly powerful... Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie came out much better and cooler than Wonder Woman. The most lively and real character in the comics. And Cate Blanchett as the goddess of death Hela gave us a real heat. The first female supervillain and one of the strongest villains in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Charisma and abilities of the actress are simply stunning. . .
Awesome work by the operator! Epic music around the corner and the incredible beauty of special effects! The movie is like Guardians of the Galaxy. Taika Waititi really paid attention to the way James Gunn shoots. He understands the problem of Thor’s “unpopularity”: there is not enough color, brightness and humor. It's not DC, it's cartoon Marvel. If we’re serious about something serious like Logan, be prepared for the most brutal drama. This means that jokes and gags will not leave us even during epic battles.
Thor: Ragnarok is the most anticipated and colorful show! More epic, more humor, more action! But it’s better to make a film that does one thing well than a picture that scatters and flops, like the previous parts of the film about the adventures of Thor and his brother Loki.
The film is recommended for viewing,
Each year, holding their breath and absorbing one trailer after another, a huge audience of Marvel fans wait for movies within the beloved universe. The cinematic world created by Marvel Studios will soon celebrate its decade and for such a long time, the directors from the camp ' Red & #39; managed to create many bright, inspiring and truly cool films about superheroes.
While competitors are trying to keep up with the MCU, the creators of the Marvel universe from the world of cinema - have gone to their fullest. Space budgets, which allow you to attract great actors and show incredible beauty special effects - the best motivation for the creator, allowing you to open up & #39; in full & #39; from a professional point of view. Nothing distracts Marvel directors from the main job. They are completely devoted to their projects, so it is a pleasure to watch them.
'Thor: Ragnarok' no exception. Moreover, the third part about the adventures of God of Scandinavian mythology can rightly be called the most inventive film of the MCU. Why? Let’s try to deal with you, once again singing a thank you tirade of Marvel for this approach to filmmaking.
The third ' solo' film about Thor was directed by New Zealand comedy director, a man not deprived of a sense of humor, 42-year-old Taika Waititi ('Real Ghouls'). Taika, of course, had no experience in the production of blockbusters and shot mainly low-budget comedies-dramas. But, as we know, for Marvel bosses, a long time ago, it was not an indicator of ' experience and payback' director. For 'The Red Bosses' as we saw on the example of Favreau and Gunn, the main thing is excitement and 'fire' in the eyes of the creator. If a person ' caught fire ' put a film, bringing something of his own, giving everything to the work, then he is the ideal candidate for the director's chair. Wash your mustache, Detective Comics.
If you compare the solo films about Thor with solo tapes about other Marvel heroes, then Goldilocks is clearly ' loses ' to colleagues on all fronts. Too serious were the films about the hero of Chris Hemsworth, devoid of superhero gloss. Like a dry breakfast from a company you don't like - yes, it's delicious at times, but not at all. And it was the fault of both the studio and the directors it appointed. The first film about Thor was directed by Cannes laureate, who shoots dry dramas, and the second film was shot by a serial director who worked on cool multi-series films (' The Sopranos', ' Rome'), but has no idea ' what' and ' how' works in big cinema. From that point on, Taika’s appointment looked like a cry from the MCU bosses – if he didn’t make it, no one would make it.
First of all, the third film about Thor completely changed the positioning. Down with the unspoilt presentation of Scandinavian mythology in the comic style! Now the ball is ruled by humor! And not just stupid jokes out of place, but an inventive, tearing up typical Marvel patterns banter, chaining to the screen from the first minutes of viewing. Over the years, each of us has become accustomed to the typical construction of superhero films. A skeleton on top of which history grows. So Taika and his team, spitting on 'canons' and ' Testaments' lit up in full, ridiculing the scheme used by ' comrades in the shop' from year to year.
'Mjolnir' The Torah can only hold a worthy one, and it is forged from a fading star, which gives the hammer an incredible striking power? Turn it to dust in the first ten minutes of timing! There are many such moments in the film. You will have to laugh loudly and for a long time, from stage to stage, from dialogue to dialogue.
In addition to good humor, the film has wildly powerful female characters. No, not so slick, aki Wonder Woman rising full-length from the trench, inspiring men intimidated to death... And real, lively as possible in the comic. For them, the pathos and fresh nonsense that poured into the ears of the characters of previous films is not enough. Now they need motivation to risk their lives. Now they will not get into hell after the phrase ' Need to save Asgard!', they are not enough. They need to be persuaded, trusted with their leadership skills, and then asked for help. And even after that, absolutely ' not the fact' that they would agree.
A separate line of praise for the third film about Thor, I want to note the inimitable Jeff Goldublum in the image of the Grandmaster. The character of Jeff, a dictator in miniature, running a landfill planet dominated by gladiatorial fights. He disposes of his lives, like a speck in his pocket, ' Spendants' it for his own pleasure. A liberated, charismatic and incredibly attractive character. I sincerely hope that one day we will see this character played by Jeff and the Collector from the Guardians & #39, performed by Benicio Del Toro. Why not? In the comics, these two are best friends!
Bottom line. 'Thor: Ragnarok' is a film that gives a vivid insight into how much it is ' moldy' standard movie production schemes at Marvel Studios. Taika Waititi, through the prism of humor and ridicule, hints: 'It's time to change positioning' Hell, if even James Gunn admitted it by comparing 'Torah' with ' a magic tape from the 80s' then what do the rest of the MCU directors expect? The time of serious people is over, Marvel.
Continue the same way, hit all the strings at the same time!
