Sitting at home and watching the tape on the social network, I accidentally came across this film. Not afraid of a rather low rating on Kinopoisk... decided to still, as a background, look at this picture. The result was a great time spent watching my TV. There is no stupid youth humor, everything is presented logically and adequately, visually humorous presentation of scenes results in a complex relationship between parents and children, spouses, people of different age categories. Of course, there are moments when secondary actors overplay ... but this is compensated by a wonderful game Vernik, Tsapnik, Belogolovtsev. Very impressed Epifantsev, always knew that an actor with such a scandalous lifestyle has an impressive acting talent.Naghiyev in the image of a modern prophet is also very, very convincing, and as one of the reviewers said here-' I do not believe' but I here I BELIEVE... it is with such films that we will not forget about kindness, mutual help, friendship and love.
Taxi Nagiyeva: Tales of kindness, loyalty and the right choice
This comedy has as many as three directors: the notorious Sarik Andreasyan (for some reason, the director indicated only in the credits for the film itself, but ignored on the page of KinoPoiska), KVN-man, “Kamediklabovets” and screenwriter of several filthy domestic comedies Leonid Margolin, and also unknown as Mikhail Zhernevsky, in whose filmography we can see films and TV series of the third class for housewives, tired of caring for love and five. This comedy has as many as five screenwriters (although Sarika Andreasyan on the KinoPoiska page is not among them again, and it still appears in the credits). This comedy has the cast of Dmitry Nagiyev, Dmitry Epifantsev, Sergei Belogolovtsev, Igor Vernik, Jan Tsapnik, Anna Khilkevich, in general, a vinaigrette of names that try to be heard by the whole people at least several times a year.
Can a movie be bad if it has so many advantages? The answer is obvious - moreover, it can be terrible. Because there are no advantages. All of the above people can be called talented in some way (except, alas, Sarik Andreasyan), in some ways penetrating and with iron exposure (otherwise, a whole galaxy of various projects would not be attached to each). It's not that. Regalia alone is not enough for a good film. For a good film, there should be, first of all, a good, honest, direct script that does not try to speculate on the feelings of the audience, maliciously planting some snotty situations instead of suitable material and parodying predictable theatrical scenes like “you are the groom, you are the bride, there is a hundred years difference between you, act out an acquaintance with your parents.” For a good film, a director is needed like air, who will be able to show the viewer without a gram of falsehood what will affect something personal in it, which will manifest a recognition of reality, devoid of the use of anecdotal stamps and the presence of excessively caricatured characters.
As you can see, “All About Men” briskly and briskly violates all these rules.
The focus is on three storylines that do not overlap with each other. Their only resemblance is that the heroes of each so-called novel sooner or later get into a taxi to Dmitry Nagiyev (he here, thank the machine god, does not try to play himself), talk about their problems, and Nagiyev, aki an earthly angel, directs them to the true path.
The first story is about a couple with a large age difference. The authors tried to figure out whether two people from different generations can meet, and came to the most predictable conclusion. The attempt to philosophize, having passed through several pseudo-comic scenes, failed very quickly, leaving behind either sad sighs or relief - well, the lesson is taken into account. Now I'll know: choose your equal, not what's wrong. But I knew it before.
The second story is about two men who decide to conduct a sexual experiment with their wives. For some reason, domestic “comedians from cinema” almost never succeed in making something digestible on an extremely frank topic. The heroes of such novels necessarily in the end do not come to anything, and all the innermost desires remain in the womb of reflection, where slowly rot and die. The question is, why start talking about it when there is nothing to say? As a result, the characters of this plot were complete fools, so they remained. However, now, in addition to intellectual inadequacy, men have awakened tender feelings for their faithful wives. Morality turned out to be incredibly banal: to learn to appreciate those who are next to you, you just need to take a break from them.
The third story is about the long separation of father and son. The father is an Armenian from Sochi, who came to Moscow for a couple of days to see his child. The son is a famous stand-up artist, a star of the stage and in general a very busy person who does not know how to find time to meet a relative. Next, the tragicomedy is played out, in which the father, being an inhabitant of a different environment, and therefore, judging by the authors' conviction, stupid and naive to the point of impossibility, does not know how to find a place in the big city, while his child, preparing for the next shooting, generally managed to forget about the naivety of the parent and his own duty to help him in the simplest things. I do not doubt that the novel is extremely instructive and even more touching than the previous ones, but at the same time this touchingness is pompous like a turkey during the mating season. See how bad it is to forget about family and friends in the pursuit of glory. And the fact that “family and friends” appear to be complete dull thinkers, unable to understand why in the hotel room on the bed towels are designed in the form of swans, and coming to a public institution with a bank of home ajiki – well, it’s so cute, ha ha ha. Only here no empathy for such characters does not wake up, and filmed everything as if we would be guilty, if not imbued with such work. Pure speculation on inflated “sincerity”, the real price of which is three pennies.
However, the film itself, if taken as a whole, deserves this price.
"All About Men" tries to look like a good folk comedy, but in essence turns out to be an ordinary second-class cinematic fake, in which there is nothing funny, and kindness is too imposed on the viewer to feel it in the heart. In fact, inside the picture there is one empty space, which, unfortunately, can not be filled with anything sensible, no matter how many people try to convince us otherwise.
They promised a super comedy, but they got something else.
Honestly, I didn’t want to watch this movie, assuming it would be another piece of crap in a series of dumb comedies, but luckily I was wrong.
After watching, there is a pleasant feeling of good positivity, a slight smile and growing joy in relation to their lives and loved ones.
This is not quite a comedy, this is a kind and fun story about the important moments of life of each person, primarily in the face of men. This project is like a small film almanac, which shows several stories that touch the living.
The beginning of the film, unfortunately, is not very impressive. You will get the impression that this is mortal boredom, but then interest grows and then you inspect until the end without breaking away. I would like to mention the story of my father and son. Very strong dramaturgy with fun and kind humor.
I don’t want to look at the whole movie. I will say one thing: this film can be watched and is necessary for all fans of a good movie.
'Not all people can look beyond their noses' and so it is.
As I understand, looking at the rating of the film, not everyone found the opportunity to look a little higher at the essence of the shown. More precisely, what the author of the film probably tried to recall.
Stereotypes shown are clearly template, but the meaning is not in them.
Would I be right if I wrote that the film encourages you to just look at everything from a high level, and not live with small problems and worries? No one says that they are not important, just sometimes we must not forget why we try to live with them, why we solve them.
I have a family and everything else doesn’t matter. For yourself alone, effort will never be enough. Everyone will understand this one day, as long as it is not too late. . .
For the sake of another domestic 'masterpiece' decided to leave the first review. The reason for writing was the huge outrage that remained after the film. The idea of the authors of the film about men is built entirely on a huge number of cliches, the characters are represented by frank fools, there is no subtle humor here - it should be funny from the stupidity of the characters. And all this is served under the sauce of eternal themes - fathers and children, he is older than her, stumped relations of spouses.
Of course, you can say, but the morality, the morality of the film. The presentation of this morality is frankly absurd.

From the life of men, or how to behave in different unusual situations, even when you are over 30
Recently, it has become very fashionable to joke about love, family and human relationships between a man and a woman. Almost everyone has succeeded in this, from debutant directors to solid film studios of the caliber of Enjoy Movies and comedian groups of the caliber of the Quartet I. Someone did well, someone – on the contrary, not very – but one way or another it was from the very first unsightly and by no means ideal pictures that the formation of the modern comedy genre began. But at the same time, it is necessary to talk about the above with a degree of irony, so that the viewer perceives the cinema not just as a comedy but as a humorous philosophy, which has its simple and conveyed through the prism of humor of truth and a frivolous search for serious things.
Another Russian comedy called “All About Men” tells us about the life of men, their character, their everyday situations in their personal lives and, finally, about family relationships. The whole film is divided into three completely different novels, each of which tells its own separate story from the lives of men - a very familiar reception for another famous holiday franchise "Mothers" is perfect as never before, without mixing the characters into frank porridge and letting each of them reveal themselves in a certain time period of the picture, which is absolutely correct. These three completely different stories are equally funny and touching, first of all, with their endings, in which the sentimentality, which is usually unusual for men, is exposed. And after all, you can not even say that the plot is uninteresting or at least one of the cast is hulking or shows false emotions, although by and large, with such sincerity, you do not want to pay attention to any small details that at least for a minute confused - the main thing in everything that happens is an instructive meaning. More often, it is worth doing in life such simple sincere and human that the future generation could take only a positive example and that he would not be ashamed of us.
How correctly someone noted that “men are from Mars, and women are from Venus” – because illogical in actions and actions is characteristic of the stronger sex, sometimes reaching the pranks of a concerned teenager. And when you look at the tandem of Sergey Belogolovtsev-Vladimir Epifantsev, you involuntarily recall the phrase “Gray in the beard, demon in the rib” – although initially it is difficult to imagine adult men with such foolish reckless ways to diversify family relations in a married marriage. And when you look at the tandem of women in the face of Ekaterina Skulkina and Elena Borshcheva, you are amazed at women’s endurance and wisdom. And you also think that among a large number of treacherous and calculating people there are women who are able to forgive even such a childish prank and love as we are, and with all our “cockroaches” in their heads.
A lot has been said about the relationship between a man and a woman with a very large age difference in our modern world. As a rule, such relationships are doomed to break up in advance for many reasons, up to the discrepancy of personal interests and friendly companies. The character of Igor Vernik is difficult to imagine in the role of an avid partyer and time burner along with financial resources: although he is a bachelor, he is selective towards women, although he is a busy person, but can be a loving husband. Just the problem is one – there is no one worthy, for which you could rush home and be there at least at night at best. The heroine of Anna Khilkevich is certainly beautiful, seductive and sexy - but unfortunately, this is the case when it is impossible to correct and remake a person "for family life" no matter how hard you try, if he initially "put on" this glamorous and party image and does not imagine a single day without gatherings in the company of untidy majors and strong alcohol. Very accurately, this characterizes the scene of the breakup and wise prudent words of his character at the end - this is how it happens in the end, when a man crosses the age limit over 50 and becomes no longer interesting to a younger woman, then such a relationship turns into a relationship between father and daughter.
But the most close topic for many viewers is the topic of family and the relationship between father and son. In real life, this always happens when children almost never get to spend time with their parents, ask about their health, events in their lives, do something to help or even just ask how things are. The character of Grant Tokhatyan, for all his simplicity, is shown by a very loving father who loves his son and is always interested in his success in the capital of our Motherland. The hero of Viktor Stepanyan is successful, famous, rich, but he has no one to share his achievements and his events in life with. He feels a lack of wise advice and a strong man’s shoulder, which can always be relied on in any life situation, no matter what. Distance, as you know, sometimes very often causes any person a feeling of loneliness - a feeling that someone nearby is missing. Someone with whom you could share successes, talk about failures or just talk and pour out your experiences and heartache – namely, a loved one, a single friend and even a simple casual passerby who may be a kindred spirit. And only words of gratitude, spoken not through the TV screen in a stand-up show, but tete-a-tete in the compartment of a train or at home, have the greatest meaning and power.
And the hero of Dmitry Nagiyev. It would seem that there can be in common between all these three stories and a simple ordinary taxi driver who has seen a lot in life and is able to give the right advice? About a casual passer-by, I mentioned not accidentally - because it is when there is no close and dear person nearby, we are ready to tell about the painful person who torments us, whom we do not know and who so successfully turned up by happy accident or by the will of fate as a sign from above. Not all strangers can listen so easily, because callousness and indifference for us have become, unfortunately, a kind of protective reaction against other people's problems. “Why do I need your problems – my problems are enough” – we usually hear in response. There are very few people like his taxi driver character, but it is because of them that there are still concepts of compassion and humanity.
And to sum up the above: This film is a kind of laudatory ode to the stronger sex for an hour and a half. Of course, it is impossible to fit absolutely everything about our strong half of humanity beyond talking about fishing in friendly company, digging in the engine of a car and teenage recklessness for a variety of personal lives, but nevertheless there is no bad taste on the principle of some stupid American family comedies.

Before expressing your dissatisfied, boring and subjective opinion, I want to note that the film is not a nightmare (especially against the background of recently released products). "All about men" not causes vomiting and an obsessive desire to end the viewing at the very beginning. But let's be honest with ourselves. If you call the film "not bad" solely because he does not want to commit suicide - this is too sharp underestimation of the bar of film criticism (in the context of an ordinary movie lover). As for the movie All About Men, the patient is more likely to be dead than alive. I will be brief, but informative.
They meet on clothes - I think it's not a secret. I met the film extremely cold, as a kind of clothes were absolutely dull opening credits, which were backed up by worn and unfunny jokes about men. But I am not so easily confused, so I continued to familiarize myself with the picture with the same level of enthusiasm.
And now it is time for the main disappointment, which colored this review in red. This disappointment is the cast. Namely: Epifantsev in the role of Epifantsev, Vernik in the role of narcissistic Vernik, and Nagiyev in the role of himself. Honestly, I missed Steven Seagal, who also appears on the screen in approximately one role. I would like to add that the acting of Ekaterina Skulkina, Anna Khilkevich, Elena Borshcheva and Viktor Stepanyan seemed to me absolutely unconvincing. Alas, but I, as a viewer, not noticed that the actors, as they say, put their soul into their characters (with the exception of Grant Tokhatyan).
Unfortunately, by the end of the viewing, I realized that the authors could not fully display life situations, nor create a kind of grotesque on the topic of acute problems. You can see that the script was not written on the knee two days before the start of filming. After all, there are four stories, each of which has its own morality, which is chewed and voiced. But, alas, these stories are played incompletely. What is missing is a zest that would make the viewer say, “Damn, they are right!” Personally, I felt a lack of soulfulness, which, I’m sure, could bring the creators of the film, but somehow made the film fresh emotionally. Therefore, I do not see the point of recommending it for viewing.
There is no desire to furiously scold this tape, since it does not leave a bad aftertaste (as well as any positive memories). I just want to turn away and shake my head disappointed. "All About Men" is not worthy of the attention of the audience, as are many domestic films released this fall. Unfortunately, behind the bright poster and calling trailer hides a story that was filmed without due diligence. As a result, the viewer appears empty picture, which is simply choking with a lack of emotions.
P.S.: Sarik Andreasyan’s PR in a behind-the-scenes stand-up show is a completely unnecessary scene.
For the new work “All About Men” by Mikhail Zhernevsky (" Hard Happiness, “The Last Cop”) and Leonid Margolin (" Women vs. Men), “What Men Do! 2”, “Happy New Year, Mothers!”), it is time to set the age qualification. At least 35+. And not because this tape contains anything supernatural in terms of sex and violence. It is unlikely to be of interest to the general public 35- "All about men" - a three-new comedy with honestly practicing their shot regulars of series and age stars of KVN.
I confess, I did not expect from “All about men” special screen revelations. The film is on duty and passing. A vivid example of the stagnation of modern comedy in Russia. The case when good professionals in the person of Vernik, Nagiyev, Epifantsev and Tokhatyan play simple stories about middle-aged and older men. And are knee-deep in laughter from the serial directorship and the KVN script.
Well, Tamada can't write a play for the theater. The ears will stick out “Let’s drink” from each line. Connoisseur of male characters Margolin did not strain. Why? There are types of Vernik, Nagiyev, Epifantsev and Tokhatyan. These are recognizable men. In history, you can fasten no less recognizable heroes of KVN Skulkin, Borshchev and Belogolovtsev to them. To spice this funny vinaigrette with the beautiful Hilkevich. And people will fall into the cinema once again to look at well-known people.
I am glad that All About Men did not fail at the box office. Largely due to the work on the project of professional men, which, in fact, and three stories in the spirit of the once popular psychotherapeutic “understand, forgive...” All stories with a characteristic serial sweetness and through a complete lack of originality and ingenuity, but it is this predictability that gives “All about men” the degree of sentimentality necessary for age audiences.
And laugh at a young 49-year-old dinosaur, smirking at a young beauty, two almost swinger age couples and a foreman-Armenian from Sochi, who came to visit a successful standup son? It's sinful. Just compassion and compassion. And warm pajamas, soft toys and ajika. My heart is full of pity. Total darkness on the Arkanar of the national cinema humor.
This story about three comical, and sometimes touching life situations is stylistically not similar to “What Men Talk About” or the absurd / vulgar film “What Men Do”, rather to “Stories” by Mikhail Segal, only with men in the lead roles.
Yes, it lacks the sharpness of the plot, all the stories seem not very connected. I would say there is a lack of a taxi driver’s story (a mysterious figure, but not fully uncovered). But at the same time, it is impossible not to note the subtle, intelligent humor that is not often found in modern cinema, both in our and in the West.
Thank you very much for the story about my friends swingers, laughed from the heart.
Very pleased with the selection of actors, all looked well very organic, except, probably, Anna Khilkevich - a girl, although young, but still not "club-party age."
The result was a qualitatively filmed, light and even touching comedy with bright characters and good acting and not vulgar humor. Moreover, the content of the work is dissonant with a very low rating of the film, I have never had such a discrepancy.
This is not a review, this is a cry of the soul.
I don’t know how to write much and beautifully, but at least I won’t lie.
That's just my opinion.
The movie is terrible. Boring. Five minutes after the film began, I wanted to leave the room, but I heroically watched it to the end. I just feel cheated. My hellish torment for my own money.
Directors and screenwriters should be removed from filmmaking. It's a creepy mess, not a movie. $67.4 million wasted.
The movie is just about nothing. They wanted to tell you everything about men, but they couldn’t tell you anything. The only story (played by Skulkina/Belolovtsev and Borscheva/Epifantsev), which could be beautifully and interestingly promoted, was completely merged, especially the ending. All the other stories were not worth telling.
Acting is terrible. Nagiyev, although talented, is frankly bad and inappropriate here. Stepanyan is so narcissistic that a pearl even through the screen. The Wernick/Hilkiewicz pair are "perfect." Both are completely inconclusive. I wanted to cry out to the whole room: “I don’t like you!”
Of course, you can go and make up your opinion about this “film”, but, as they say, it is my job to warn, and it is up to you.

P.S. Those who write good reviews apparently decided to avenge everyone else for their torment from watching.
How many fables about us men, and how many more. . .
If you draw analogues and parallels, the film "All about men" is similar to "What men talk about" and "What men do." But he was not as deep and capacious in fact as the first, and not as vulgar and stupid as the second. And, unfortunately, he added to the list of films that are not very different from each other, filled with a bunch of domestic stars and, most importantly, the game of these same stars, to put it mildly, does not please.
So, All About Men is an attempt by the creators to tell about the strong half of humanity, fitting this story in an hour and a half of screen time. One can only guess whether the directors Margolin and Zhernevsky managed to convey to the audience everything they wanted, but in order to convey all the nature and guts of the peasant, this time is extremely short. The same "Quartet I" in his road movie "What Men Talk About" only superficially told about us, reflecting the main points of characters and personality traits.
Margolin and Zhernevsky did not bother much and went along a long-trodden path, deciding that in an hour and a half it would be best to stick several stories at once, giving each of them 10-15 minutes. Excellent solution, because each of these stories, according to the director's duo, fully reveals the male character. Needless to say, all the parts of “Mom”, the fucking and dull “Champions” and the similarly named novelty with the prefix “Faster”. Higher. "Stronger" - all these films are divided into several films in one film and, to be honest, such a maneuver has already got enough. Absolute lack of creative imagination. Why not shoot something like a road movie (on the principle of “Route 60”), where the main plot thread winds around one person, who meets others on the way, who in conversations with the hero or under what circumstances, share their life experience?
But why? After all, you can just remove the patterns, invite the ubiquitous Nagiyev to the project (who is not very different from Fizruk here), call the sweet Vernik, who only knows how to play such playboys, Belogolovtsev, habitually crooked in the frame, Epifantsev (well, he should be brutal among them all), Tsapnik (no Russian comedy without Jan is, obviously, g**no) and yesterday’s star of the series in the face of Tokhatyan. And if you add here the former KVNschits Borshchev and Skulkin, not distinguished by sexuality, but fading in the rays of it (sex appeal) Anna Khilkevich, you get another sham... Fresh and filled with ordinary and ordinary situations, flavored with the famous “letters”, “silvers” and “tits” from Nagiyev domestic “comedy”...
But look at you. I do not impose my opinion on anyone.
In connection with the new work, going to the city and visiting the cinema for me is now a holiday on a par with the New Year and Birthday. So spending time on movies I’m not sure about is definitely not for me. So what brought me to this movie? Poster. It's corny and simple. Read the cast and everything will fall into place. And I, while the memories are fresh, will put everything in place in my head and throw the film in pros and cons.
+ Of course it's Nagiyev. What a modern movie without him. It is necessary to turn on any channel and here he fries potatoes and distributes tips on how to replace butter with gasoline, “click the remote” and Nagiyev knocks your favorite KVN-team right halfway from victory, “click the remote” and our beloved Dmitry in leather and on helik is trying to resolve the next problems of schoolchildren. From this last image in this film took the most. But this is not a blind copy of a successful image from another film. This hero is much more soulful and organic fits into both modern everyday life and the canvas of the narrative.
That's humor, of course. It is worth admitting that Russian cinema is very bad with quality humor and even the latest film from the Quartet And leaves a bitter aftertaste of disappointment and unfulfilled impulses, but here the creators managed to do quite a lot of work in this regard. Pearls Nagiyev, eminent kvniki and girls from the well-known program, which was previously led by Dimka Khrustalev - everything hits exactly the target!
+ Skulkin and Borschev. Again, if you get what you expect from Skulkina, then from Santa Maria Guerra there is always a plume of mystery and light madness. I liked her even when she played in KVN for the team of Pyatigorsk and since then has grown significantly, managed to turn into a beautiful actress, as evidenced by this role too.
The theme of fathers and children is my favorite, especially how it is loved to play in modern cinema: a son who thirsts for parental attention and love, and a father who works for days to meet all the needs of his child. Isn't that how it is in most movies? Why not turn this situation upside down? In my opinion, the move is just great and performed by the actors simply virtuoso. Great jokes on the adult generation, not offensive, funny and pleasant, and morality for the younger generation – all in their place.
+ Musical accompaniment. Recently, I caught myself thinking that picking up Russian tracks to accompany a Russian film is unrealistically difficult, because the audience will perfectly understand what the song is about and compare it with the picture on the screen. One more word and everything will collapse. Thank you to all those who were responsible for the music of this film - everything is in place, everything is fine, watch - enjoy.
Another plus, of course, is the directors. Young Leonid Margolin has already managed to establish himself after the release of Champions and Moms, so his name is already on hearing and is closely associated with popular Russian films. I would even say good movies. Well, Mikhail Zhernevsky apparently well stuffed his hand on the series and quite coped with the big movie.
- Copying Tom's image. As I wrote earlier, this rather successful in marketing terms character was taken as a basis, but significantly and quite successfully modified. But sometimes through the shell of the taxi driver looks old Thomas, which looks a little ridiculous.

All About Men consists of a series of novels, each of which shows a small piece of men’s lives. Beautiful actors, especially Igor Vernik, a wonderful soundtrack from Pavel Volya, amazing stories and tips of taxi driver Dmitry Nagiyev - all this makes the film easy, ironic, funny, in some ways sad. The movie leaves a pleasant light plume, a light aftertaste - when you do not even understand what exactly hooked you. Just some general impression, a couple of moments, tears at the end, the words that “Time has come” – all this leaves its mark, allows you to empathize, think, remember your loved ones. And about how much you had to say to them kind words, talk about your feelings, just do something good. I liked that the film was not long, it ended where it was supposed to end. The story of a father and a son, lovers with a big age difference, husbands and wives, a man who does good, working as a taxi driver - all this allowed for an hour and a half to plunge into another and at the same time such a familiar life. I believed the actors for an hour and a half of the film, it was nice to empathize with them and at the same time think about my own. I don’t think it’s a shame for such a movie, because it touches something deep in your heart, because you can see beautiful things on the screen, and want to do something beautiful, albeit very simple, in your life.
Men are different: tall and small, strong and not so, beautiful and so to themselves, but everyone is united by the ability to make a real male decision. That’s the kind of man’s decision this film is about. Stories that occur with the main characters of this picture, make them do a lot of stupid things, but what really distinguishes a real man, he knows how to stop in time, take his will into his fist and make an informed decision.
The picture of Mikhail Zhernevsky and Leonid Margolin turned out to be very dynamic, funny and “for the rash of the day”. I think many girls will see her as their boyfriends, husbands, fathers, brothers, friends. And I think everyone recognizes that men sometimes do strange things, but without them (without us) it would be boring. But the men watching the movie, probably, more than once from the heart laugh. There is no single story in the picture, but everything is united together by a single morality – to be strong and responsible for yourself and loved ones.
The cast is full of stars of Russian cinema. And the main star is Dmitry Nagiyev, who serves as a kind of unification of the plot. Dmitry has long been familiar to the viewer with his comedic talent. This movie is no exception, all the scenes will make you smile. Busy in the picture and such famous men of Russian cinema as Igor Vernik, Sergei Beloglovtsev, Vladimir Epifantsev. All the actors performed their roles perfectly. As in the paintings “Bitter” you can see the duet of Jan Tsapnik and Elena Valyushkina. Elena Borshcheva and Ekaterina Skulkina were probably born with their comedic talent. Perfectly complements the whole company Anna Khilkevich - the star of the series "Univer", "Barvikha" and others.
You can’t say that the picture is a complete comedy, there are quite piercing dramatic scenes in it. Like the father-son story. Throughout the film, there is good music, and there is a pleasant atmosphere that does not let you get bored.
"All about men" is a kind of praise ode to men. Sometimes even the strongest man wants to be loved. Easy and dynamic movie with favorite Russian actors for pastime in the company of friends.
When I heard the name, I remembered the movie where the Quartet E was run. After watching, I realized that these two comedies are somewhat similar, simple stories, probably. Although the Quartet had a genre of road-movie. And here the horizon is wider.
I confess that I doubted whether to go to All About Men in the cinema, given the “success” of Russian cinema in comedy genres. But I was convinced by the reviews of friends and colleagues at work (of those who watched the picture naturally). I decided to take a risk, thinking that I definitely want to see the swinger tow trucks. Very slippery subject. And the more entertaining it was to observe whether the creators of the tape will get out or the plot finding will fail in all articles. It turned out funny, especially the game literally my favorite actor – Vladimir Brothers Epifantsev.
In general, surprisingly, those who made the film found what many creators of modern Russian comedy have lost! There is a moral in the film. And life stories. Father-child relationships. The relationship of a man who has poltos, and a girl who could be his daughter. Age difference, all things to do... I like how I conveyed emotions Grant Tokhatyan. Such a wise father who wants his son to just pay attention to him.
It was also nice to see all the iconic faces from the media space. Elena Borscheva, Ekaterina Skulkina... It is a special case Dmitry Nagiyev!.
In short, the tape is recommended for viewing. Discard the bias (it is still not your assistant here) and look. Preferably with your own couple.
They say men are from Mars and women are from Venus. That is why, perhaps, the weaker sex sometimes marvel at the logic and actions of the strong half of humanity. However, it is not difficult to understand men, especially if you look at life through their eyes for a day.
Imagine that you are a simple working man, accustomed to walking away from everyday work in the company of similar friends. Life was calm and measured, except that friends sometimes arrange another divorce. But I want something sharp, like a movie. Here Sergey Belogolovtsev and Vladimir Epifantsev comes up with the idea of persuading their wives to try swinging. It remains to understand how to persuade ordinary Russian women, far from idle temptation and exotic temptations, to such an adventure, because you will not ask anyone for advice. Before that, however, it is worth deciding whether you are ready to share the most expensive without looking, because on mature reflection, reasonable doubt begins to creep into your head.
Now imagine that you are a rising standup star, a young guy with a lot of prospects and a severe lack of time. No, better imagine you're his dad! Of course, you are proud of your son – the boy made his way into Moscow show business. But the grown-up crumbs do not have time for their parents, no matter how banal it may sound. Who else can lead a parent into the secrets of such a rapidly changing life in the capital? Who will thank Dad not from the TV screen in a fashion show, but in a simple heart-to-heart conversation? When will it become clear that parents always have something to talk about?
Let’s say that everything in life went the right way, and work began to bring money and joy at the same time. But then the children slowly grew up, and the seemingly strong marriage left behind only a memory. Then you see the hero Igor Vernik in his honed role charming, but confused aesthetic. Is a housemate ready to completely change his life in his forty-nine years for the sake of a girl fit for him in a daughter? Of course, she is fascinated by a grown man so unlike her crazy fickle friends. A young party girl, fascinated by bows and manicure, will soon tire of her melancholy and too serious boyfriend. Maybe, while she does not know, but such a sad arrangement clearly sees her chosen one.
All these men do not know each other, as they do not know the random taxi driver Dmitry Nagiyev, who turned up so in time for them today. He doesn't know you, and you don't know him. Perhaps it is from such a spontaneous listener that one can ask for advice. He seems vaguely familiar and somehow believes him. And he can promise that the road with him will not be boring.
Funny, awkward, romantic, doubtful, busy, loving and loved - all this is about men. The directors were able to fit their simple truth into an hour and a half of humorous philosophy and frivolous search for serious things. After all, as you know, to get an important answer, you need to ask one right question.
Dmitry Nagiyev, Sergey Belogolovtsev, Igor Vernik, Vladimir Epifantsev – I think these names alone are enough reason to at least pay attention to the new Russian comedy All About Men. I’m not going to say that I consider myself a fan of this genre (there have been too many disappointments lately), and yet I decided to give this film a chance and wasn’t disappointed. I was glad that the director’s chair was really talented guys who understand that this film will largely determine their reputation. Thanks to this, “All about men” cheerfully and, most importantly, does not stupidly begin, does not sag in the middle and logically ends, leaving no unnecessary questions.
The film tells about three different situations in which the characters must prove that they are with iron eggs, that they are real men. What to do when you're 49 and your lover's parents are 50. When her friends speak a language you don't understand, and your friends are Neanderthals. The hero of Igor Vernik is an intelligent, educated, accomplished man, but next to a young bride - completely insecure. What is the right thing to do when you are ready to throw the world at her feet, but you cannot give her the simplest – youth and lightness?
When the hero of Grant Tokhatyan appeared on the screen, I just wanted to prompt him through the screen, such a sincere and high-quality game from this actor. It's like he's talking about his problem in secret, and it's you and you, not in a movie room, but in his kitchen, in a small apartment in Sochi. And he goes to his son across Russia to look in the eye and hug, but his plans are different. Can a son remember that the most important thing in life is the man who taught to walk and who laid his life on your altar? Will the son have the intelligence and courage to admit his mistakes and say the main words to his father?
Well, vaudeville, which played Epifantsev and Belogolovtsev does not defy any description. Their story is the funniest, I can only say that according to the ancient Scandinavian tradition, they decided to exchange their wives.
The real diamond of this film is Dmitry Nagiyev. I don’t know how he does it, but when he shows up, it’s impossible to come off even for a second. I want to catch every word, every gesture, every joke. An unexpected turn at the end of the film will not leave anyone indifferent.
Speaking of the film as a whole, All About Men is an hour and a half of unobtrusive entertainment with a high degree of comicality. When you watch such films, the main thing is to relax and have fun. That's the only way you get the most out of them. So less skepticism and more positivity.

Men are different - bold, playful, like children and adults
In the past few years, several remarkable comedies appeared on our screens at once, in which the leading roles were firmly captured by men who pushed women into the background. In memory come worthy "What Men Talk About" from the "Quartet "I" and vulgar "What Men Do", which gained popularity among the unpretentious viewer. Both of these films are completely opposite to each other, but it is worth noting that there were good moments not only in the first comedy, but also in the second. As for me, the film “What Men Talk About” would not hurt a windshield spark, which would give the plot more poignancy, and then there would be no unnecessary questions to the tape. And here in the rental comes another tape about a strong field - "All about men."
Directors Mikhail Zhernevsky and Leonid Margolin shot a curious picture, mixing the stories of several men among themselves. The main characters (played by Igor Vernik, Sergey Belogolovtsev, Vladimir Epifantsev, Grant Tokhatyan and Dmitry Nagiyev) fall into several tragicomic situations. And everyone will have to get out of it somehow. Most touched by the story of the star stand-up and his dad. We all live in a crazy schedule where we can’t find five minutes a week just to call our parents. Typical truths? Yeah. But when you see on the screen what is happening in your life, you really think. Or maybe you should do something very simple, but at the same time so important.
The character of Vladimir Epifantsev seemed amusing. The actor turned out to be a rather remarkable image of a rolling romantic tow trucker. In principle, for the history of tow truckers who decide to beat their wives to a “non-standard” party, I want to say a separate thank you.
All About Men is a funny, ironic film. Women will love it. When they still have a chance to look into the head to the stronger sex, and understand what is going on there. As a member of the team, I had a lot to think about. Although first of all “All about men” is a great occasion for entertainment and a pleasant evening pastime.
