It's a passing story, but the characters bring it to life.
Brief background
I watched Naruto as usual and reached the 100th episode. Then I was told that the next chronological Naruto: 1 film. So I went to see what the movie was.
Design:
The design has hardly changed. It just got a little bit more elaborate than in the series. It doesn’t change much, but it does.
Plot:
That's the most important thing about movies. Plot. Except he's not good. In principle, the idea is not bad, but very outdated. That's why I'm personally putting -
Characters:
The characters here are good, really... Our trio, everyone (except Naruto), has changed character. Well, I certainly understand that Sasuke, after his illness and meeting Itachi, has to change his character in some way, and he becomes more of a jerk. In Sakura almost nothing has changed, but apparently, swearing mat she became only in Russian translation. Well, Kakashi hasn't changed. In this film, we only get more of it. Is that a good thing? Well, let's say yes. What about the main character? Well, it opens up very well in my opinion (try not to open up with Naruto). You can see its gradual development. You can see that throughout the film she has completely changed. What about the main villain? Well, he does. Well, he's bad. Well, that's all you wanted, we don't have a show, we can't do what we did with Orotimaru! So the characters are +-
To those who have never been in contact with the Naruto universe?
Well, you can see it. Like a good movie to start with. True, in this film there will be spoilers like flashbacks or techniques. So as much as I love this movie, it will still be a passing one for you. Or the beginning of the series.
Animated film "Naruto: film version!" Notebooks Technicians Princess Snowland, Datebayo! became the third additional material to the series “Naruto”. But in many ways, it was the first: this is the first feature-length animated film in the Naruto universe, this is the first work shown in a cinema, on the big screen and this is the first video footage at the helm of the direction of which was not Hayato Date. This time, the work was entrusted to Tensai Okamura, at that time best known as the director of one episode of “Memories of the Future” and the series “Wolf Rain”.
The action takes place immediately after the events of Episode 101, when Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura are trying to find out what Kakashi is hiding under a mask. In the film, the team 7 goes on a mission to protect the famous actress of the Land of Fire, who starred in the films about Princess Fuun. The next filming should take place in the country of Snow. But upon arrival, it turns out that the actress has been hiding her real identity for many years and keeps a crystal necklace, which is the key to the treasure of the country of Snow.
The main advantage of the film was a much better drawing and animation, surpassing the head performance of the series itself. The animators have worked to fame and finally the picture does not cause questions and pleases the eye. But unfortunately in other aspects of the cartoon, things are not so rosy. The main claims are primarily to the plot, he sometimes tries to seem serious, for example, in the scene of a battle with resistance, then as fabulous as possible, when the main villain is kicked out and he flies up ridiculously shaking his limbs. Then there is universal joy and happiness. Unfortunately, in real life, the problems of dictatorships are not so simple and straightforward. New characters are poorly revealed and look quite cardboard, their motivation and behavior often seem unlogical. Plus, the plot is framed by a controversial idea, cinema in the cinema. It all starts with the fact that the characters watch the movie, then they protect the actress on the set of the movie, when her personality is revealed and the characters begin to fight with real opponents, the director decides to continue making the movie and so on until the very end, when the phrase "shot!" sounds on the credits. Fight scenes, which are one of the main advantages of the series, are very transient here, which does not allow them to enjoy. The music is half taken from the show, but it doesn’t sound as relevant or inspiring as it is. The new tracks look faded and do not remember at all.
Verdict: this work pleases with its visual, but otherwise it looks quite template and of course will please first of all fans, because there is a moment where Kakashi is shown as a member of Anbu. Enjoy your visit!
Ninja in Snowland is nominally part of the global media franchise Naruto. However, the fact of weaving into the general course of the narrative of the main manga and, therefore, the series, this part of the film can not be. And although the script of the tape was partially engaged in the creator of the original manga Masashi Kishimoto, he still failed to properly weave this story into the general one. Why? Due to the interweaving of the relationships of the characters, who by the time of the film’s origin, judging by the techniques of the characters shown in it, were no longer such as they are shown here. But that's after. First, I want to say the following in contrast to what has already been written: this does not prevent the film from being perceived as an alternative story of this universe and from enjoying it.
Compared to the series, the film has a number of advantages. This is expected to be a brighter and richer color scheme, as well as a more detailed drawing. Much more dynamic and drawn battles, which can be singled out in general as a separate item for aesthetic pleasure: the anime series Naruto itself is famous for its fighting scenes, in which such a phenomenon of Eastern animation as “sakuga” works at full power. Here, due to the need to release the film not on TV, but on the big screen, the creators could not make even a single standard fight without using the maximum capacity of the studio. Therefore, it turns out that every fight, even a simple exchange of kunayas here - this is a beautiful and riveting spectacle, head-to-head surpassing what no-no is seen in the series. At the same time, the overall design also has a positive effect. But this is already personal: the introduction of steampunk style in the Naruto universe, which stands on a certain border between our time and feudal Japan, is, I think, an excellent solution for creating your distinctive portrait, which will be demonstrated more than once in future films, in the main series and manga.
However, neither the first, nor the second, nor the third saves from the main weakness of the anime film - the script. The story is small and quite simple. Moreover, it is written linearly and there are no claims to the general logic of events as a whole. The worst mistake the creators made with the heroes. Not the main ones, they're fine. Introduced specifically for this film. They are poorly spelled out and therefore their paradigms of decisions jump from different maximums unconditioned often and unexpectedly, which generates dissonance in terms of their understanding by the viewer and in the following empathy. It is very difficult to rely on a hero who changes his worldview compass twice per scene in ten seconds, and first doing one action, and then quite the opposite. And this is within the framework of one scene, in the logic of which there was only one action to be performed - the second. But in this case, there would be no pattern for further development of the plot. Such a pseudo-natural way of advancing events is an indicator of a flawed scenario. And he's not the only one here. Characters, history, everything seems to require more depth. Nope. Rather, just a larger timekeeping, in which there will be more moments where the heroes of history will be able to choose one or another position of conflict or a complex issue. But that’s not the case here, and so 78 minutes (yes, the film doesn’t last 114 minutes) seems like a bright and dynamic, but rudimentary adventure with non catchy characters and a pretty good, but banal morality at the end.
And that's actually the whole movie. He's neither good nor bad. In fact, I can even call it pleasant. It is pleasant to watch, the actions of the main characters of the series (the N7 team) are pleasant to follow, and the ending leaves a pleasant sediment on the soul due to its moral concept and beauty of the drawing. But that doesn’t make the story useful. It does not affect the world of Naruto, does nothing with the main characters, and with the characters of this film acts too controversially, without proper background and logical justification, which interferes with their perception, but allows you to move the already linear plot. The film looks good away from the series and manga, but whether it is worthy of taking someone else’s time is a difficult question. I think, for a connoisseur of creativity Masashi Kishimoto, the answer is rather “yes”: it’s worth a look. In the opposite case, it is better to watch the series: the thoughts are the same, but the plot is more global and developed, why it is more interesting to follow it at times.
Naruto is a huge world in which we go with the main, very brave and brave hero, whom I personally love very much. To be honest, I miss the first season of Naruto, when he was still small and only discovered the art of combat and the various tricks of his craft. The very first season is so childish, kind, it was pleasant to dissolve and series after series to discover the huge world of manga called Naruto.
Now before our attention the very first separate cartoon about the adventures of Naruto and his friends. This animated, adventure story came out at the time of the events of the first season. Once it was a great success and attracted a lot of attention. Fans of the adventures of a boy who never gives up, quite a lot, and this first cartoon was very curious.
In this story, we see a team of young ninjas together with Kakashi must escort one actress to a northern country. She's got something, and it's something the dangerous and violent Shinobi really need. Heroes, including Naruto, must protect the actress under whose mask the princess hides. The heroes are waiting for a big battle in the cold country of snow.
The first individual cartoon turned out very well, the attempt was successful, the story is fun, and this was the first stage, after which a number of individual cartoons about the adventures of Naruto will follow, in each of which he will all grow up and grow up, and naturally the stories will all be more dramatic and dramatic.
The first three separate cartoons, including this one, are remembered as kind and childish, associated with the very first season of Naruto. The cartoon is atmospheric, and the charm and style of the first season is present in this part. The viewer is waiting for a dizzying, winter adventure, brave Naruto and a beautiful princess.
I am always delighted by the strength of Naruto’s spirit and aspirations. He is an inspiring and inspiring, animated character. Looking at him, you think absolutely anything is possible.
"Naruto: Ninja in the Land of Snow" is an adventure, comedy anime with a flavor of the 2004 action movie. If you love the acclaimed series Naruto, be sure to watch individual cartoons for it. After watching this part, I want more and more.
The problem with this film is its commercialization. It's just trying to make money off a successful franchise. Here are exactly the same shoals as most of the filler arches in Naruto.
Naruto and his friends find themselves on a mission that has nothing to do with them. They have to deal with a man (in this case, Princess Kayuki) who has personal motives in the story, which immediately makes him a central character, in most cases boring or annoying. Most of the timekeeping is a reception from psychologist Naruto Uzumaki, who urges never to give up, sometimes in an aggressive form. And at the end, the character is like, "Cool, I'll be like Naruto now!"
The advantages of such fillers are only in revealing Naruto's relationships with other characters, especially Sasuke, but this is given so little time. New technologies and techniques are also to be praised. The chakra armour and kunaemoths are quite useful, and the techniques of Doto and his henchmen looked spectacular and destructive. Kishimoto could even add them to the main plot, but apparently decided to forget this hour and a half horror, like a terrible dream.
And if you ask me whether it is worth watching the feature films on Naruto, then for the first I can safely say “No”. Don't waste your time.
One of my favorite movies. It has everything, cool action, dynamic plot.
The story is a bit corny, but that doesn’t stop it from working. This is the first film where the main character along with Naruto does not annoy me. The princess is a decent, excellent character, not a typical lady for salvation.
Everything is clear and amazing, the final song is super, fits in perfectly.
The only thing, of course, is that the film does not fit into the chronology of the manga, and is a filler.
Well, the rainbow Rasengan Naruto puzzled a little, but it looked quite spectacular, so you can forgive this absurdity.
I suggest everyone watch!
