In one remote Spanish town since ancient times lived werewolves. It so happened that werewolves and vampires in almost all films and TV series settle on the outskirts, naively believing that the village will be easier to merge with the locals. However, the conspiracy of the werewolves from the "Full Moon" was not very successful, because since the Middle Ages they were pursued by the Inquisition, but today - who would you think? That's right, police. It all began with mysterious murders, with the found torn corpses in the woods. What do you want? It's a werewolves series, a standard start. So, the investigation is led by local police officer Raul Pando and Judge Sarah Cruz (played by Belén Rueda, a talented actress you may have seen in the movie "Awareness"). They believed that the murders were the work of some schizophrenic or serial maniac. And why do they think otherwise, if the werewolves in the “Full Moon” 99% of the time look like people, the viewer would not think that in front of him inhuman, if he was not told from the screen: “Look, there’s that werewolf, let’s cut off his head.” By the way, the methods of combating werewolves are the same as in the series “Hamlock Grove” killed vampires: rip out the heart and cut off the head. Strange, very strange. But effective. Sometimes we were shown "special effects" of the level of effects of your mobile phone, they say that one classmate of the werewolf sharpened perception and he sees and hears more. Well, okay – let’s not sneer and cling to the Spaniards: given the limited budget of the picture, it was quite possible to give the viewer werewolves without special effects. I was annoyed by something else: Vera and Nacho's love line. Not only did Vera (actress Macarena Garcia) play the role of “Natalia Oreiro on Minimalka” (remember, there was such a series in the nineties “Wild Angel”?), so Nacho (actor Fran Perea) with his acting (if you can call it that) resembled an actor from a third-rate Russian series about cops. It would be better if this couple were cut out of the series altogether, they only spoiled all the atmosphere and werewolfness.
The idea to fill the series with “pink snot” of teenage love and thereby attract a young audience and housewives in slippers was a failure. One love line between Joel and Leira would be enough. But this Faith -- these constant creations of "sharp moments" for the viewer, like right now, something irreparable will happen, and then -- heh heh heh heh, we joked. Every time you do it! You are not going anywhere from the rabbit hole of the script! You're going to play your stupid roles, actors! This is not Game of Thrones, where characters die like flies. Here the heroes are not even allowed to go to another town.
It was amusing how at the end of the first season, the characters drove fear and panic at the viewer, saying: “Everybody stay indoors! do not go outside! there is a hurricane raging, if you go out – you die!” Then we are shown a street where fans behind the scenes a little rocked the leaves of the trees. Really? You can only die from such a picture with laughter.
As a result, we have a series that is not intended for close serious viewing. It has nothing to savor. However, Full Moon is the perfect series to include in the background: while you’re washing floors in the house or painting soldiers or knitting a scarf or... well, you get it. Turned on, there is something on the side, some plot is going, and you look at the edge of your eye ... sometimes thinking about your own. Something like that.

“Today is a full moon and we will pay for our mistakes because today man will turn into a beast and kill again.”
"Full Moon" is one of the best shows I've seen. The series touches on many themes. The theme of friendship, problems in the family, teenage selfishness, love, and of course the topic of werewolves and mysticism.
In the center of the plot is a small village of Kalenda, shrouded in secrets and legends about werewolves. The impression of something touching and mysterious. The plot of the series is mystical, intriguing, exciting from the first series and very quickly and rapidly developing. There is no delay, empty words and unnecessary personnel. Everything in general is that. Although the series is full of mysticism, secrets, and sometimes horrors, but it is different from its kind. It completely lacks the constant transformation of a person into a monster - a werewolf, so nauseously already tired of "Twilight", "Twilight" and others. In fact, never once did the authors bring down on the audience the form of any monster. But the horror, in some moments, did not decrease when watching!
"Full Moon" hit me so hard that I can't even pick a favorite character. They're all favorites! The actors are just wonderful, playing with feeling.
And finally, about the end. It's a pretty clear ending, I thought they'd cut it off at some interesting moment, so you just need to figure out some moments for yourself. It's a pity there won't be any more.
I think the Spanish series are the best. The actors play well, the plot is interesting. And I've watched a lot of Spanish teenage TV shows. But none of them were that cool. This is the one!
Usually, by the end of the series, all the secrets are solved, the masks are removed, in general, Scooby Doo. But in this series, after watching, there is a mystery. Everything turns out, the masks are removed and everything is as usual. But unlike other TV shows, there’s a nice secret that just isn’t fully understood. That's what hooked me. Now for the actors.
Lyra is a very gentle and sweet girl. He's great. I really like her loyalty to Joel. Of course, Ricky showed up ready to kiss her, but she was able to resist. And no matter how hard Leira tried, she could not help loving Joel.
Joel is really cool. He's such a cool werewolf. I don't know what kind of girl wouldn't fall in love with that. He only loves Leira. At first, when he was lonely, I felt sorry for him, but in season two, there were friends. And I was so excited to see people who were dear to him who could be trusted. The most beautiful and best thing about this series is the relationship between Joel and Leira.
I don't really like Raul. I think leaving my family was the wrong decision. Well, these are my personal thoughts about divorce. I also don't like him at all. As a police officer, he is good, but not otherwise.
Nacho and Faith are so funny. Their love relationship is beautiful. Forbidden love that wins. Nacho is a great cop who was a loser at first. Vera is a lively and cheerful girl.
I don’t want to write about the others, but each of them adds something to the series. No one's superfluous.
In general, a wonderful detective series with love lines. I highly recommend it to teenagers! Only after watching will you really want everything to be in life, and fall in love with Alvaro Cervantes!

Judge Sarah Cruz and her teenage daughter Leira move from Madrid to the town of Calenda, where Sarah's husband serves in the police. Sarah dreams of a happy and peaceful life in the province, but Calenda is not what she seems to Sarah. The locals believe that they have an ancient curse and that on a full moon it is better to stay home if you do not want to meet the Beast.
This is the first Spanish series I've seen, and unfortunately it's way behind its American counterparts. But first the good stuff. Pros of the series: an interesting, although not a new idea (hello Grimm and Twilight), a good acting (a couple of Leiré / Joelle I am much more likeable than Bella / Edward), a good camera work, beautiful landscapes. The main drawback is the plot ill-conceived. It seems that the creators of the series and could not decide what they still shoot: a fantasy thriller, or a teenage romantic comedy. After viewing, there is a feeling of understatement. You have to figure out what happened there. The “sitcominess” present in the series is annoying: caricatured secondary characters, excessive exaltation. It is a pity, of course, that there was not enough money for a normal werewolf.
In general, if you are a big fan of fantasy and you have a lot of free time, you can watch the series. Otherwise, you shouldn't.
This is the first Spanish series I have seen. I had no idea the Spaniards could do that! The series is just extraordinary, though about werewolves. The show has nothing to do with Teen Wolf. That is, not complete nonsense and is not a continuation of the twilight banality.
All the characters and actions are thoroughly thought out. The story changes all the time and your perception of the whole story.
The only characters, or rather the actors, who strain it are Alvaro Cervantes and Lucia Guerero. They still have to learn to own their faces. From the sight of crying Alvaro Cervantes corners of the lips themselves stretch up.
The main plus of the whole series, or rather one of the main ones, is logicality. No action is an example, it must be said that often used, "that was." Sometimes something happens and you think “why?”, but then everything comes up in a pretty clear picture. The constant infusion of new characters greatly enlivens the course of the plot.
Another plus for the 1.5 season has never shown a werewolf! And that's cool. Personally, I am looking forward to this moment. I hope it will be no worse than in the movie Van Helsing. This is almost the ideal of the “appearance” of the werewolf.
The duration of the series is about 1:20, but it does not seem like some protracted boring. Yes, during this time the Americans would shoot 2 episodes.
All lovers of interesting and exciting series must watch!

Watched the first season. I liked a lot of things. I like the characters, they are neither good nor bad, they are alive. There are no perfect good people and no villains, there are people who make mistakes and try to correct them, to become better. There is intrigue, mystery, a note of mysticism. It is a note, I would not say that there is a lot of emphasis on mysticism, it is more like a highlight of this series. There is a romantic line, even romantic lines; and, of course, a solid basic detective line, around which everything is twisted.
I didn’t like the parallel that I had with Joel and Leira’s relationship with Twilight. The same mysterious, silent, the same “no, you do not understand”, throwing “I love, do not love”, etc. Anyway, I didn't like it. There are no other special comments. Good movie.
