A very funny comedy about human greed Once again, on the example of this film, as well as on the example of the film Garage, I am convinced of human greed for money. As I understood Ryazanov likes to make all films with morals, even the same “Garage”, although it came out later, but it has something from the movie “Zigzag of luck”.
In the story, comrade Oreshnikov won a large amount of money, but his colleagues believe that this is their money, because he played the lottery with money from the general treasury. And who's right? Oreshnikov, who believes that it is his money, or his colleagues, because they collected the money for which Comrade Oreshnikov played. I even disagree. On the one hand, of course, Oreshnikov is right, because he played it, and he was lucky, and he could put the money back into the treasury. On the other hand, his comrades are also right, because the money that Oreshnikov played for was theirs. But anyway, one thing is clear that if he had not won, then no one would have said anything, and so they see the prey and immediately, as they say, grab. There are so many such people in the world. I think that’s what I wanted to bring to the audience.
But apart from all of that, it's also a wonderful comedy. How many phrases are there? The same Peter, who in my opinion was the fairest of them, because he was not the only one who did not want to take money for himself and not to be offended by anyone, to celebrate, said: For your ten thousand you can buy 1800 liters of vodka and still have 98 cents for a snack. If you drink a liter every day, it will last for 5 years.” Anyway, that's laughter. It is such a subtle irony that not everyone can understand in this film, but if you look closely, it will open before you in a different light than just an ordinary Soviet ordinary film. And even if someone is frightened by the fact that he is black and white, do not be afraid, this does not interfere at all.
In general, look, enjoy, but remember that in every situation you need to remain human. That's what this movie teaches. Here's my assessment:
