Paul Newman (born January 26, 1925) started out as his father’s sportswear store. Successfully selling the property, Paul entered the School of Acting at Yale University. His first roles were on stage (stages on Broadway) and in television series (fifties).
Newman’s first big role (the film “Silver Bowl”) brought the actor disappointment, but in 1956 he played boxer Rocky Graziano.

After the filming of the film “Long Hot Summer”, Newman married actress Joan Woodward, and since then they have been filming together for many years.
