Soviet film actor Yevgeny Urbansky was born in Moscow on February 27, 1932. Father Yakov Samoilovich, as a valuable party worker, was given the post of second secretary of the Central Committee of the military-industrial complex (b) in Uzbekistan in the mid-30s. But just a couple of years later he was declared an “enemy of the people” and exiled to a camp near Vorkuta. His wife and children were sent to Alma-Ata. Here Eugene finished 9 grades of school, and when his father in 1946 was transferred to the mine in Inta, the whole family moved to him.
At school, Eugene studied well, did acrobatics and often performed at school concerts, reading poems. But the attraction to acting was not yet there. In 1950 he began training at the Moscow Road Institute, then transferred to the Mining Institute. There he took an active part in amateur activities and decided to try himself as an actor. In 1952, he was already a student at the Moscow Art Theatre School.
Eugene debuted immediately in the main role in the film

The life of the actor ended suddenly on November 5, 1965 on the set of the film “Director”. The scene was filmed in the desert, and the hero Eugene had to jump over the dunes by car.
