Roscoe Lee Brown was born on May 2, 1925, in Woodbury, New Jersey, and by the time he entered Middlebury College, Vermont, and later Columbia University, was already considered world famous. Brown later studied literature and French at Lincoln University in Pennsylvania and turned to acting in 1956. Refusing to limit himself to the minor and minor roles that black actors had at the time, Brown took on the classics – his debut at the Shakespeare Festival in New York was Julius Caesar. Brown later studied literature and French at Lincoln University in Pennsylvania and turned to acting in 1956. Refusing to limit himself to the minor and minor roles that black actors had at the time, Brown took on the classics – his debut at the Shakespeare Festival in New York was Julius Caesar.
In the movies and on television, everything was not so smooth, they had to play what they would give. However, Brown nevertheless took part in such series as Falcon Cross and Soap.
Outside the stage, Roscoe Lee is considered a talented poet and writer, in addition to putting on performances and arranging music.
