Anatoly Petrovich Korov was born on April 24, 1898. He began his creative path in 1917, and in 1919 he graduated from the studio of F.F. Komissarzhevsky. Since 1920, Anatoly Kotrov worked in the Korsh Theatre, in 1933 he moved to the Moscow Art Theatre, on the stage of which he created many different roles, including Sam Weller in the Pickwick Club, Shervinsky in the Days of the Turbines, Bernard Shaw in Sweet Liar.
