Dean George Kane was born on July 31 in Mount Clermons, Michigan. The mother took Dean and his brother Roger to California after divorcing their father, Roger Tanaka. She later married Christopher Kane, whom Dean considers his real dad. Dean Cainvoros in Malibu among such star kids as Emilio Estevez, Charlie Sheen and Rob Lowe.
Contrary to expectations and one small role in his father’s film “Stone Boy”, Dean grew up not on the set, he was more interested in sports. For his success in football, he was promised a scholarship from several colleges, but suddenly he chose the history department at Princeton. Although there football did not leave him - Dean played in several decisive matches for the Princeton Tigers and even signed a contract with the Buffalo Bills club, but due to a knee injury he dropped out of the squad, never appearing on the professional court.
Then Dean decided to engage in literary activity. He wrote several scripts, and also "cleaned" several scripts for his father. The public underestimated his writing talent, he was not given much money, and Dean decided that he would be an actor.
He made more than thirty commercials, including a glorifying Diet Coke, before getting small roles in films. The first "breakthrough" can be considered his role as Rick in the funky-stupid series "Beverly Hills 90210".
