Annette O’Toole was born on April 1, 1952 in Houston, Texas. The girl had the same fiery character as the color of her hair. She loved to read books and then spend weeks portraying the main characters, mostly princesses. The acting talent was obvious, and the parents took the child to the casting of the TV show My Three Sons (1960). After that, the actress starred in many more shows, commercials and films.
O’Toole played her first serious role at the age of 25: she turned into a teacher and friend of Robbie Benson in the film One for One (1977). Possessing musical and dance talent, she starred in such musicals as The Musketeers (1981) and Cat People (1982). However, the actress gained the greatest popularity by participating in soap operas. Her most famous role was Martha Kent in the film.
