Alexey Krasnopolsky is a Soviet film and theater actor. Born in 1904, he came to study dramatic skills in the Penza Studio in 1922. Until 1928, he performed in mobile theaters, traveling through the cities and villages of a large country, gaining experience, which was very useful to him during his further work in the theaters of Saratov, Kharkov, Kiev and Moscow. In Ukrainian theaters, the actor served from 1934 to 1944, in 1945 he moved to Moscow, where his stage was the stage of the Central Theater

In Ukrainian theaters, the actor served from 1934 to 1944, in 1945 he moved to Moscow, where his stage was the stage of the Central Theater of Transport (later the theater was named after N.V. Gogol).
In addition to a rich theatrical career, Alexei Sergeevich starred in films, where one of the first for him was the picture “Seafarers”. The audience remembered the actor for his roles in such films as “Mysterious Island”, “Big Life”,
"Outpost in the mountains" . His last film was the drama “If you are wrong...” in 1963.
The artist died in 1967 on September 25. His wife, actress Emilia Milton, was buried next to him in 1978.
