Ivan Gerasimovich Lapikov was born on July 7, 1922 in the village of Gorny Balykley, but his childhood passed in Stalingrad. Ivan Lapikov began acting in films in 1954, but his roles were hardly noticeable. He played the role of the escort in the film “Spare player” (1954), the postman in the film “Demand” (1955), a worker in “Army “Tracktails” (1964) and others. In 1964, Ivan Gerasimovich received the role of Semyon Trubnikov in the film “Chairman”. After the release of the film, Ivan Lapikov’s film career began to develop completely differently.
