Michael Peña (full name Michael Anthony Peña, Michael Pena), American actor, was born on January 13, 1976 in Chicago. His mother was a social worker assistant, and his father worked in a button factory. His parents have Mexican roots and once had their own farm. Michael graduated from the Hubbard High School, which used the methodology of the founder of the Church of Scientology L.R. Hubbard. Since childhood, the boy showed interest in cinema and theater, took an active part in independent productions. He starred in many TV series and films: “Extermination Process”, “Felicity”, “My Dear Americans” (1998-2002), “Police on Bicycles”, “ER”. But only at the age of twenty-eight, in 2004, there was a true breakthrough in his film career: the Oscar-winning film by screenwriter Paul Haggis “Million Dollar Baby” and the picture “Crash” appeared on the screens.
