Daniel Sackheim is an American director and producer of television and feature films.
He began in the film industry as an assistant editor for projects including Stripes, Annie, The Toy and the Alfred Hitchcock Presents television series. He then worked as an associate producer on the series Miami Vice.

He began his own projects in the early 90s to early years, directing episodes of such famous series as Law & Order, The X-Files, NYDP Blue, ER, and Earth 2, as well as producing for various shows, including The X-Files and Millennium. In the mid-90s, he was mainly responsible for directing television films such as In the Shadow of Evil and The Lottery before returning to directing.
In 1998, he began directing the film Glass House, which brought him wide fame in 2001.
