Anne Magnuson was born on January 4, 1956 in Charleston, West Virginia. Graduated from Denison University with a degree in theater. In 1978, Anne moved to New York and, together with Eric Bogosian and Joey Arias, founded Club 57, a neo-Dadaist cabaret.
