Actor Dax Randall Shepard was born in Milford, Michigan on January 2, 1975. Dax has always been fond of auto racing and was generally prone to adventure. As a teenager, having read about the adventures of the heroes of Jack Kerouac’s novel On the Road, Shepard and a friend jumped into an old Mustang and went to meet adventures.
For five months they travelled across America, but eventually returned to their homes and decided to take up their minds. Becoming an exemplary student in the Department of Anthropology, Dax first felt a penchant for acting. After graduating from the University of California with a bachelor’s degree, Dex began to walk the thresholds of various theater and television studios. At first, he was catastrophically unlucky, but after participating in several commercials, the stubborn guy was given a small role in the series “King of the Mountain”.
In 1998, he starred in Dean Paras' youth comedy Something About Danny. Shepard was finally noticed and appreciated for his comedic talent. In the following years, the audience saw the actor in the films “Life with Boney”, “Shaming”, “Cheap in bulk”,
"Three in a canoe" My Name is Earl, Robo Chicken, Date of My Dreams, Go to Jail, etc.
The sparkling humor of the actor did not go unclaimed for the popular TV shows “Late Night with Conan O’Brien”, “Jimmy Kimmel Live”, “A Little Pregnant”.
In 2009, Shepherd debuted as a screenwriter in the comedy Get 'Em Wet, where he played the main role.
