Christopher Crosby Farley was born on February 15, 1964 in Madison, Wisconsin, USA. He graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee with a degree in theater and television networks. Christopher Crosby Farley was born on February 15, 1964 in Madison, Wisconsin, USA.
He graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee with a degree in theater and television networks. He began his acting career in the comic troupe of the theater Ark Improvy. Then he moved to Chicago, where he was accepted into the comedy troupe The Second City. While touring, Farley caught the eye of the creator of the television show Saturday Night Live (SNL) Lorne Michaels, after which he received an invitation to participate in the program.
Working for SNL brought Chris Farley national fame.
In 1992 he made his film debut. It was the comedy Wayne's World. Then he starred in films.
"Eggheads" (1993), "Empty Heads" (1994), "Black Sheep" (1996), "Tommy's Boulder" (1996). His last role was in the film Ninja of Beverly Hills (1997).
Chris Farley had problems with weight, alcohol and drugs. All his life he tried to get rid of these problems, but could not. On October 25, he was last seen as a guest on Saturday Night Live.
On December 18, 1997, he was found dead in his apartment on the sixtieth floor of the John Hancock Center in Chicago. The reason is cardiac arrest due to an overdose of speedball (a mixture of cocaine, morphine and heroin). Chris Farley was 33 years old.
It was at this time that he was working on the voiceover of the main character of Shrek.
