Theatres remember how once went "to Karev" in the Kazan Academic Russian Bolshoi Drama Theater. How fascinated by her play admired beauty. And they heard an inimitable voice that sounded incredibly wide and easily reached the gallery. To confess, I was surprised to hear and today, after many years, this completely unchanged fascinating low timbre.
But to my question, which of the scales outweighs - with acting or teaching - Honored Artist of Tatarstan Honored Artist of the Republic (represented for the title "Honored Artist of Russia") Juno Kareva without hesitation answered: "Definitely second."
March 1 marks 30 years since Juno Ilyinichna began to teach the skill of an actor at the Kazan Theatre School. “The students are the meaning of my life,” says the jubilee. And her former tomboys understand this – they came to congratulate the beloved “teacher” from all corners of not only Russia but also from other countries.
For many years Juno Kareva combined work in the theater and in school. But it so happened that in 1992 her career as an actress suddenly ended.
A young Kharkiv woman came to Kachalovsky on distribution - immediately after graduating from the Shchepkin School in Moscow in 1955. And after 37 years, she had to write a statement of her own accord. She has never participated in acting intrigues still does not understand what happened then.
- This question remains for me today - admits Juno Ilyinichna. I just did not renew the contract, saying that from September 1, I no longer work in the theater. I didn't even ask why I didn't want to sort things out. I was immediately attacked by journalists asking for an interview. And I said to everyone, "Let forty days pass." It was on November 18th, my day at the theatre.
Daily classes in the school begin with an exercise called "start" (that is, preparation for a working creative state) - students show general sketches invented the day before. And when I got fired, I showed up in the classroom, the guys turned off the lights, they lit the candles, they lifted me in their arms. Then the boys took turns dancing the waltz with me. And at the end, they put a badge with the number 37 on the dress. How I cried after that start! The next day, she presented everyone with a volume of Tsvetaeva, writing on the last pages the following words: “Bring your cross and believe!..”
Then in Kachalovsky was going to celebrate the anniversary of Kareva - she refused. And she celebrated it with her favorite students and students in Israel, where she was invited by one of them - Elena Sakhanova, conquering Tel Aviv with her art.
Generally Juno Illinois says little about herself. More and more about them - "ugly ducklings" grew up in beautiful swans. Sergey Govorukhin (son of Juno Kareva and Stanislav Govorukhin) has been persuading his mother to move to Moscow for many years. Especially since the grandchildren - ten-year-old Stanislav and two-year-old Vanechka - miss their grandmother. In addition, the first throne Kareva offers an interesting job. But last year she again set a new course (ninth in a row), although she vowed to her relatives not to do so. And everyone is sure - will bring the guys to prom.
- But I will die without my school! - exclaims Juno Ilyinichna. And once again we hear words of infinite gratitude to the director of the Kazan Theatre School (he has a bright memory) Arnold Shapiro and the director of the Tatar State Philharmonic Marat Tazetdinov, who 30 years ago convinced her to take up teaching work. . .
By their own will to tear away a talented student to send him to study in Moscow and even help in this - not every teacher will decide on this. But Juno Kareva and Vadim Keshner (since 1977 they have been conducting a course of the same name) decided when they realized that Chulpan Khamatova (the most famous actress today) had a gift of God. The girl studied at the Kazan Theater a little more than a year.
- Chulpan is fantastic! She's a little bandit who drives a car today and used to drive rollers all over Moscow -- she doesn't recognize the subway -- Juno Kareva's eyes glistened when she started talking about her favorite student. - Recently, I was with my eldest grandson and former student Gennady Semenov in the theater "Contemporary" at the play "Three comrades". And I saw Chulpan standing up. After the performance, she ran up to us and presented me with the whole mountain of flowers - a gift from the audience. Then Gena dug up a bouquet and dug up some roses in it and returned it to her with the words: "Although you can take them?" It's from me and Juno Ilinic.
The other day, Chulpan came to Kazan for just two days - her mother was sick. But I stopped by school anyway. The guys prepared a beautiful composition for her and gave her a huge polar bear.
In such a gifted actress (she works simultaneously in four theaters she starred in the films “Country of the Deaf”, “Time of the Dancer”, “Moon Dad”. - I.D. - There is no star. When I asked her, "What do you want most?" she replied, "Go to sleep." You know her mom calls Moscow every day to wake her daughter up because no alarm clock can do that. .
Vadim Keshner (now People’s Artist of Russia and Tatarstan, Honorary Academician of the Russian Academy of Humanities) met Juno Kareva in 1956. At this time, she was already an actress of the Kachalov Theater and he had not yet entered the theater studio. From day one, they became friends. And as Vadim Valentinovich admits, only death can separate them.
They played together in a huge number of performances. Were beloved for example in “Hot summer in Berlin” relatives – in “Ordinary history”. Even Snow White and the Dwarf.
They are inseparable today, and not just in school. Almost thirty-one years on the stages of the country with constant success is the play "Life for eternity" - a love story in the letters of Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky and Nadezhda Filaretovna von Meck originally staged on the basis of the Philharmonic by Nathan Rakhlin and Vadim Ostropolsky.
- If it were not for Juno, this production would not have appeared and I would not have been in it, says Vadim Keshner. - It all began with the then director of our Philharmonic Mikhail Pervin, who gave Juno to read the correspondence and offered to find a partner. And then she twisted me like this... In general, she did the same thing to me as von Meck and Tchaikovsky.
We are very good friends, even our spouses are not jealous. No matter what they say about our alleged love affair! But the dog barks, the wind wears. I have no other friend than Juno. She'll come to help even if you don't call her. She'll actually support anyone in trouble. It's like Dr. Aibolit in a skirt. And students call her the Kazan mother because they know firsthand - Juno will give the latter if someone is in a difficult situation. Shelter will feed.
I admire Juno's courage. In Chechnya, during the filming of the film “Cursed and Forgotten”, Sergei was seriously injured as a result of which he lost his leg. Next, nine operations under general anesthesia. Imagine it's for a mother. .
Keshner considers Kareva not just a good teacher, but outstanding. In his opinion, the secret of this lies in the love of students in colossal knowledge and long practice. On the basis of the teachings of Stanislavsky and other luminaries, she developed her own teaching system, which is constantly improving.
- We practice the same school. And we look in the same direction as two "communicating vessels" equally understanding and feeling - continues Vadim Valentinovich. - Juno's big deal? She's a huge Chekhov expert. Many professional actors can not comprehend Anton Pavlovich to play him. Each course goes through the production of his works. Former students write: “If there was no Chekhov, we do not know how our fate would have developed...”
At the end of the conversation, the master said, “I pray only for one thing: that God grant her a long life.”
