Born January 12, 1959 in Halmstad, Sweden. Swedish rock musician, songwriter and lead vocals in Swedish bands Gyllene Tider and Roxette. One of Per's aliases is Rip Offenbach, under which name he wrote the song "Dansa pop" for Rita & the Ripoff.
He founded the band Gyllene Tider in 1979, and, along with friend and singer Marie Fredriksson, the duo Roxette in 1986. He also worked with Swedish singer Nisse Hellberg on The Lonely Boys. Other bands include Pepcis, Grape Rock, Peter Pop & The Helicopters, Spannande Ostar and Per's Garage.
