American actor James Marsden was born in the small town of Stillwater, Oklahoma, on September 18, 1973. James has two brothers and two sisters. After graduation, he received an invitation to shoot the television series “Nanny”, where he played the role of Eddie. This was his first film role. In 1994, the television adventure film with his participation “White Horror” by Paul Krasna was released. At the same time, Marsden starred in the comedy “Dad, you’ll get dessert after you mow the lawn” by Horward McCain.
In the late nineties, the young actor was quite in demand. He has appeared on television in several projects such as Ellie MacBeal.
Beyond the Possible Success to James Mardsen came with the thriller Indecent Behavior by David Nutter, where he starred as difficult teenager Steve Clarke. This work brought him positive reviews from critics and the recognition of the audience. In 2000, the actor played the leading roles in two thrillers – “Gossip” by Davis Guggenheim and “X-Men” by Brian Singer.
He later starred in the sequel to the thriller “X-Men”. But James’ most famous work was his role as Neil Oliver in the acclaimed film Highway 60 directed by Bob Gale. In 2004, the actor starred in the drama “The Diary of Memory” by Nick Cassavetes and in the film Chris Terrio “Heights”. In 2009, James starred in three very significant films, including the thriller “The Parcel” directed by Richard Kelly, where his partner was Cameron Diaz.
And yet most comic book fans know James from the X-Men trilogy, where he played Cyclops, and from the movie Superman Returns, in which he starred as Richard White.
James Mardsen is married to Lisa Linda. Their wedding took place in 2000. The couple have two children: son Jack, born in 2001, and daughter Mary, who was born in 2005. /
