Bear Grylls served in the British Army. He was sent to the Himalayas for several months. For 3 years (1994-1997) he served in special forces. He has visited North Africa 2 times. He was hospitalized for 18 months and was initially paralyzed.
In 1998, Bear Grylls’ long-held dream came true – he conquered Everest, while getting into the Guinness Book of Records as the youngest Briton to climb this mountain. The expedition lasted 3 months. During the reconnaissance, the young man fell into a crevice, but this passed without consequences for health. Then there were a lot of tests, for example, a helicopter flight across England and a paramotor through the Himalayas.
In 2010, he began to take part in the filming of the program “It could not be worse.” All topics of the program are devoted to ways of survival in different conditions, including disasters, accidents, cataclysms, and other situations.
