Lauren Fox was born in 1978 in the family of actor James Fox and his wife, the great-great-granddaughter of playwright Frederick Lonsdale. At the age of 13, he attended Harrow School. After graduating from school and working as a gardener, he realized that he liked acting. Lauren joined the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.
While studying at the academy, he began to take part in various theatrical productions, including the role in the play The Wild Duck, as well as works by Titus Andronicus and Ulysses. However, the theater did not like him. Then he drew attention to the cinema, where in 2001 he made his debut in the thriller “The Pit”.
In 2001, after his role in The Pit, he was invited to play in the film work Gosford Park, which was nominated for an Oscar from the American Academy of Motion Picture Arts.
