Dilip Rao comes from a family of Indian immigrants. His father was an engineer and his mother was a physicist. Rao originally planned to study to be a surgeon at the University of California, located in San Diego, but promptly came to his senses, choosing a different path, despite the disapproval of the parent.
As a child, Dilip often traveled with his family. He traveled from Saudi Arabia to Denver, from Claremont to California. Rao completed his studies at Claremont High School, later decided to enter the University of California, which graduated in the status of a bachelor of humanities.
He wanted to continue his studies in San Francisco at the American Theatre Conservatory, where he was awarded the title of Master of Fine Arts, which is an analogue of a candidate of science.
After graduating from school, Dilip worked for a long period in the Los Angeles local theater. These were difficult times, years of battle with prejudice against his ethnicity, and later the actor admitted that it was enough just to try to be an actor, difficult to be a good actor and almost impossible to become a great actor.
Although Rao preferred the theatrical scene to filming, where he believed special effects and technology overshadowed the true art of the game, he willingly took part in a variety of films. And if his debut, really serious work in cinema was a picture
"Drag me to Hell" It is known to a relatively small number of people, such blockbusters as
"Beginning" And "Avatar," obviously, all of you have seen.
For this reason, Rao has every opportunity to be one of the most prominent figures in the cinema of the United States and delight the audience for a long time.
