David Paymer was born on August 30, 1954 in New York. His Jewish parents dreamed that the boy would grow into a successful lawyer or doctor, but David was in love with cinema since childhood. Upon graduation, David Pamer graduated from the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute and the Professional School of Performing Arts.
