Film critics predict that a new sex symbol will soon appear in Russia. This is Artem Krylov - Kai vampire from the series "Split". Artem, 20, played a 400-year-old vampire (remember that according to the canonical versions of myths, vampires are always young and beautiful) very convincingly, but Artem’s Kai is completely different from the original Israeli series. He, as the actor himself described his hero, cheerful self-ironic, always saves someone, and without the traditional red eyes for the image of a vampire. In general, the actor and the character largely coincided with the characters. Which is not surprising, considering that this image was “sculpted” by the actor himself.
Artem Krylov was born in 1991. As he himself admits, he wanted to become an actor in the 10th grade, before he was sure that his fate was linguistics. And in the series “caught”, as most often it happens – the casting director invited to “try”. “Here I tried it,” the actor sneers at himself.
In interviews, Krylov is often asked two questions: Does he like his popularity? And does he not fear that he will be assigned the role of a charming vampire? After all, given the emerging fashion for various vampire sagas, this image will be in great demand in the coming years.
The popularity of Artem, of course, flatters, and he also does not mind becoming a sex symbol. But this is not an end in itself for him. As for the “vampire future” of the young actor, he determines the future. He will be able to prove that the actor is diverse, not “one image”, everything will be fine. If he can't, he's not an actor.
Artem loves rock, his idols are The Beatles, he plays the guitar. And he is a passionate football fan and supports Zenit. The actor loves to read, and prefers comedies from films, and, of course, mysticism is beyond competition. /
