Vienna. XIX century. Countess Teresa Pauline invites Johann Strauss to settle with her and write a new waltz for the ball - "magnificent, wonderful, magical." To compose the composer needs peace and quiet, so he accepts the offer and moves to the house of the Countess. He was taught to play the instrument by his father, who died early. Nicholas' father always dreamed of becoming a court musician. During Nicholas’ horseback riding through the forest, the composer hears the magical sounds of a horn. This music inspired Johann Strauss to create the waltz Tales of the Vienna Forest. close
