Libushe Šafrankova is a popular Czech film actress from Brno. Libuche from an early age was fond of theater. The debut success came to the actress after participating in the film “Grandma” based on the work of the Czech writer Bozhena Nemtsova. Shafrankova graduated from the theater school in Brno. After successful work in cinema, she began to perform on the stage of the popular author’s Prague Theater “Drama Club”. There she met her future husband – the popular Czech actor Josef Abrgam.

Shafrankova graduated from the theater school in Brno. After successful work in cinema, she began to perform on the stage of the popular author’s Prague Theater “Drama Club”. There she met her future husband – the popular Czech actor Josef Abrgam.

"Three nuts for Cinderella" . The actress was nineteen years old when she took part in this wonderful film fairy tale. Everyone fell in love with Szafrankova, and Libuše remained the brightest star of Czech cinema and one of the best princesses of world cinema.
Shafrankova starred in the films “Kolya”, “Snowdrops Festival”, “The Little Mermaid” and
The Prince and the Evening Star" . The actress performed many roles in the Drama Club Theater.
Shafrankova and her wife Josef Abrgam have a son Josef Abrgam Jr., who is a famous Czech film producer.
In 2009, the actress had serious health complications. Some of the projects in which Libuche participated had to be suspended. However, the actress managed to overcome the disease, and she once again came out to the audience as radiant and beautiful as before.
Despite the publicity of the profession, Shafrankova and her husband lead a solitary life, not often appearing at various cinematic events. The actress does not like to give interviews, and she tries to protect her family from intrusive journalists. The actress directs all her creative energy to television and theatrical stage. Today, she is actively involved in various television projects.
