For thousands of years, blood has been shed in the Holy Land, the Middle East. The scars of battles between the world’s three great religions have stripped this land. And the deepest wounds were left by the war between Christians and Muslims, which began in the late 11th century and lasted two hundred years. It was led behind a tiny strip of land several hundred kilometers long. But it included the greatest value: Jerusalem.
Today, these holy wars have become legends, but there have been people who have seen them with their own eyes. Great chroniclers from two different worlds, Christians and Muslims, wrote about great deeds, great battles, great warriors, people who gave their lives in the name of their God. It was a clash of two great religions, a struggle between the Crescent and the Cross. It was the Crusades. close

After serving as president for 22 years, Santa Anna has become too powerful and arrogant. He rules Mexico with an iron fist and he would not allow Texas to self-govern. Bowie sides with the Texans in their bid for independence and urges a cautious strategy, given Santa Anna's power and cunning.
