In the battle for the pass on the side of the Red Army, a Czechoslovak unit formed by General Ludvik Svoboda in Buzuluk took part. The fighting lasted about a month and was very heavy. The Battle of Dukel Pass became one of the bloodiest during World War II. It killed 60,000 Soviet soldiers and almost 2,500 Czechoslovak soldiers. 3,000 soldiers of the Czechoslovak People’s Army took part in the battle scenes. close

At the year 1946, the time of the Nuremberg Process. One of the main actors of the Second World War, who reportedly committed suicide, Adolf Hitler is, however, missing. The Czech doctor Herman (Karel Höger) is kidnapped from Prague and driven to the sanatorium of Professor Rolf Harting (Jirí Vrstála).
