In 1763, Britain defeated France in the worldwide Seven Years War - referred to in the American Colonies as The French and Indian War. As a result, the French abandoned America, leaving the Native population who had sided with the French to fear the British would seek revenge. Ottawa Chief Pontiac convinced many tribes they needed to strike first. Some did so willingly, others were forced to fight. Their ultimate target was Fort Pitt. The combatants on both sides deployed unconventional and often brutal strategies and tactics. Colonel Henry Bouquet, with a ragtag group of British soldiers, Scottish Highlanders and American volunteers, was tasked with trying to save the hundreds of men, women and children facing certain death - or worse - in Fort Pitt. The little-known Battle of Bushy Run changed the course of world history... This is that story. close

“Escape from Germany,” is the true recounting of a miraculous yet unsung WWII event, releasing in theaters April, 2024. Hitler's army was rapidly closing borders in August of 1939 while eighty-five American missionaries were serving their church inside Germany. As the German military preparations escalated, word came to speedily move those LDS missionaries to safety in adjacent countries. Taken from the personal diaries of those missionaries, this riveting story is a testimony that God truly leads and protects His servants, opens doors, and provides timely inspiration. The harrowing escape of these missionaries from Nazi Germany as World War II started is one of the most remarkable but little-known events in the history of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. close

Everyone knew about Przemyshl in the summer of 1941 in the USSR - it was the first Soviet city that managed to recapture from the Nazis on the second day of the Great Patriotic War, June 23. These long-standing events are dedicated to the documentary Vadim Hasanov "Remyshl. A feat at the border.”
The Polish city of Przemyśl became Soviet in November 1939. During the First World War, the Przemysl fortress was destined to be stormed by Russian troops - it was the key to Austria-Hungary. Russia celebrated the fall of the fortress for two days, and the Entente countries rejoiced. Not much time passed, and the city again found itself in the ring of fire – this time the Soviet troops repelled the attacks of the Wehrmacht.
About what happened in the summer of 1941, the documentary recalls eyewitnesses and border guard Vasily Lagodin, the last surviving member of the defense of Przemyshl. close
