Ole (Jakob Matschentz lives in a German province. Together with his best friends Ronnie (Costia Ullman) and Marcel (Pit Bukowski), he spends his time riding motorcycles or hanging out at a gas station.
Karl, the grandfather of the main character of the comedy film “Summer in the City” (Großstadtklein), does not like such an aimless pastime of his grandson, he dreams of seeing him among the successful representatives of his generation. To give him a boost, Carl sends Ole on an internship in Berlin, where he settles with Manni (Tobias Moretti), the brother of his father Heinz (Marcus Hering).
