Cheap Seats without Ron Parker, commonly shortened to Cheap Seats, is a television program broadcast on ESPN Classic hosted by brothers Randy and Jason Sklar. The brothers appear as fictional ESPN tape librarians who amuse themselves by watching old, campy sports broadcasts and wisecracking about them.
Cheap Seats debuted on February 4, 2004, with an episode that showed ESPN sportscaster "Ron Parker" getting buried under a shelf full of tapes, forcing the Sklars to fill in, as they were behind Parker on the "hosting depth chart". The founding production team behind "Cheap Seats" included Mark Shapiro, Showrunner, Todd Pellegrino, James Cohen and Joseph Maar. Cheap Seats was originally an hour-long program. There were about 10 one hour-long episodes in the first season, all of which were subsequently cut down to fit a 30 minute time slot. close

"Champions from the Gateway" is a story based on true events. In 2009, the Ukrainian football team, consisting of homeless people, reached the final of the world championship among homeless people, which was held in Italy.
In the past, Mikhalych (Alexey Gorbunov) was a famous player of a popular football team. But now he is not having the best of times. The hero of the picture “Champions from the doorway” tries to assemble a team of homeless people to go with them to the world championship among the homeless.
He comes across a variety of athletes, and it is not the love of sports that drives most of them. It is much more important for these people, thrown out on the sidelines of life, to somehow fix their lives, to “clunge”, if possible, in Italy or in some other “warm” place.
But when the team of Mikhalych reaches the final of the championship, his guys suddenly wake up a sense of patriotism, pride not only for themselves, but also for their country. And when the Ukrainian flag rises in honor of the winners, the heroes of the picture “Champions from the Gateway” will no longer matter whether the country recognizes “their heroes” and how their fates will turn after the championship. The most important thing that changed their lives was their victory. close

According to the plot of the comedy series Dmitry Panchenko "My team", a section on basketball appears in an ordinary high school. Many eighth-graders aspire to get into it, but the “green street” shines only to the select: Sergeyev’s coach is too strict in the selection.
Some guys are unlucky, and they are eager to succeed in their favorite game at any cost. Despite the fact that they have many obstacles on the way, students overcome them with success. Now there is no doubt that such good guys can make a great basketball team, and most importantly - the guys become real friends outside the game.
