Vyacheslav Kulakov is from Kazakhstan. He chose the profession as the “method of exclusion” – “I don’t want that, it’s not interesting.” Weeding out everything that was boring, “in the dry residue” got the acting path. I'm here to join the MHAT. But in creative universities there was no military department, and they did not give a reprieve from the army. There was a way out - to enter a technical university, but Vyacheslav did not want this. Therefore, instead of a student bench, he thundered into the border troops. Two years later he returned to Moscow and entered preparatory courses at the Moscow Art Theater School. At the same time, I had to learn to talk. Vyacheslav had problems with diction, and in general, Russian speech in Kazakhstan, where he grew up, is somewhat different from Moscow. It took a lot of work, but Kulakov’s speech became a reference. Vyacheslav began to participate in the performances of the Pushkin Theater already in the first year, and in the third he was already entrusted with the main roles. In this theater, he served 10 years after graduating from the Moscow Art Theatre School.
The first role of the Kulakov played in Shakespeare’s play “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”, his greatest success of that time was the role of Prince Karl in “Eric XIV”, and his favorite role was the role of the main character in “The Great Gatsby”.
Vyacheslav Kulakov also became a filmmaker immediately after graduation. At the Gorky studio, he was introduced to the Indian director Gaurav Seth, who invited him to play the lead role in his film The Art of Dying. Many other roles followed. Kulakov is especially proud of the role of Oleg Khlebnikov in the film “Two Destinies”. On the set Kulakov had to work with Pierre Richard in the film “Parisians”. And Eldar Ryazanov, he starred in
