Every day is a matter of life and death in a hectic New York City hospital, but for Nurse Jackie that's the easiest part. Sister Jackie is not Dr. House, since the basis of the plot of the “nurse” is not a question of treatment, but the complex relationship of Jackie with his environment: colleagues, a guy, children, apothecary, with whom the heroine cheats on her boyfriend and almost nothing about the work itself, nothing about medicine and diagnoses. That's right, because Jackie doesn't make any diagnoses and the authors might as well make a series about a hospital cleaner. It would be just as exciting. Jackie does not despise patients, unlike House, she is not a misanthrope, but just a person in a difficult life situation. This rather brings the series closer to the production novel à la Haley or Ambulance. But watching all this was much less interesting to me. The script is not to watch the series drunk and I am afraid that not even quite the one to watch more than one season. 7 out of 10 Original
