A very good French parody of 007, filmed by Michel Hazanavicius, who shone this year in Cannes with his film "The Artist", - "Agent 117" with Jean Dujardin in the title role. Special Agent Hubert Bonisser de la Bata is sent to Cairo to pacify the terrorist organization Wings of Cheops and search for the killer of his friend Jack, who was an agent there before him. Like his friend, he becomes the head of a company engaged in breeding birds (just a large chicken coop). The film is parodyne literally in every phrase and every scene, there is no point in telling - how spies, meeting at the reception, talking solid quotes, "pearls" of the protagonist, competing with each other in stupidity, which he himself, however, is very pleased, as well as himself, etc. As his henhouse handler said, he's either very stupid or very smart. Nevertheless, he is always lucky, physically he is well savvy - literally does not sink in the water, and the bullet does not take him, and the song, if necessary, will sing. His laughter is worth it, especially in flashbacks. Jean Dujardin is always good. The film is made in retro style - it is 55 years old!
