Life sometimes gives us unusual encounters. I already talked about this in TG, so some people know. I once went to an exhibition in our gallery, where I, as is often the case, talked with a lady who was there on duty, first we spoke Estonian, then Russian, when I spoke about one doc.film that I saw there, that to shoot it against a pink background is a show-off, using the Russian word, we switched to Russian. Word for word, something about each other learned, learning that I am interested in cinema, she asked if I had seen the film “Above the rainbow” G. Jungvald-Khilkevich, 1986, it turns out, she was filmed there, then her name was Tatiana Basova, she was a ballerina. I promised her to see the movie, I used to keep the promises, otherwise I do not promise, so I watched the film. I watched this film and really felt a slight nostalgia, although by nature I am not sentimental, since, as it turned out, the film was shot in Tallinn, it was nice to look at it, at the beach in Pirita and the embankment, at the Town Hall Square without a huge number of tourist extravaganzas that you will see there now. The film, in principle, is nothing special, such a teenage musical with elements of fantasy, with songs and dances, and the music from this film I, of course, heard many times, there are light elements of everyday satire in the depiction of adult characters, but all this is kind and a little naive in places. Tatiana, who played a teacher and Serena there, was really very attractive in her youth. I watched the film, despite the big time, then it was a two-part film. I will have to visit Tatiana and tell her about my impressions.
