Very atmospheric, old and not lost its charm cartoon from the creators of "Wild Planet" and "Lords of Time". French fiction is not a very common phenomenon, always marked by color and the superiority of grace over common sense. I liked it a lot and was just as annoyed. The subject of mutants did not like at all. Yes, the victims of genetic experiments, rejected by society. But how do they live with such incomprehensible deformities? These mutations go far beyond vitality, they are deformities from the pictures of hell, and yet they still live, continue to multiply, successfully take part in the war. Have you noticed that they don’t play a real role in the story? If they were removed, nothing would have changed, their tragedy is entirely separate. They represent a typical problem of the middle of the work, which needs something to do, they simply fill the plot time with their entourage and teach the viewer the word "was-budu." Well, they have to do with prophecy, but it could have been done without them. But I liked an interesting antihero - a giant pink metamorph, resembling the head of MPH and not really knowing himself - this was definitely nowhere. I liked the dialogue with him. Apparently in the future I will be the villain who launched this invasion, so I want you to kill me in a thousand years. - Why not now? - Now I don't want to. You can't. But there are many illogical moments. He plunges the hero into suspended animation for a thousand years, when there is a temporary gate standing in the same era. Through them, he says, you'll come back. And in that direction through them was not ... why? And yes, what else do old pink monster cells do other than turn into robots? Makes sense. And finally, the old villain Ugandahar was somehow too easy, everyone is saved, everyone returns to their time ... and at the same time, nobody flies with the war on the young metamorph to prevent a terrible future. They leave him, essentially allowing him to invade. In general, not the cartoon that amazes the viewer with its masterful script. But to look for the sake of the visual range, moreover, created in the bearded years, is definitely worth it.
