I decided to watch the entire series of films by François Truffaut about Antoine Doinel, now this is the film Domicile conjugal, 1970. So Antoine got a wife, a girl from a decent family, giving violin lessons, and then they had a child. His occupation at first is quite strange - he paints flowers for a seller on the corner of his street, but after a fiasco in this field, he gets another job, you can say almost by accident, because the boss uses a letter of recommendation of a completely different person, without listening to the objections of the secretary on this occasion. But this work is very strange - he manages models of ships on a pond depicting a harbor, which is shown to different customers. There he meets a pretty Japanese woman, who immediately put his eye on him (as well as one of the women working in a cafe near their house). From the neighbor, he still manages to somehow fight back, but he liked the Japanese woman himself, so much so that he starts an affair with her, which for the time being manages to hide from his wife, but there is nothing secret that would not become obvious, once by a ridiculous coincidence his betrayal becomes known to his wife. She can't forgive him, kicks him out of bed, and then he leaves the house. An affair with a Japanese woman soon bored him, he drives her to the point that one day she sends him to hell. All this time, he seems to be trying to write his book, but even here somehow not very successful. So he's free again, kind of trying to get back to his wife, and she doesn't seem to mind that much, because she still loves him. We will see in the next film how his fate will develop. He is such a completely immature type, who does not really know what to do, not much burdened with thoughts and worries about life and about the family, the benefit of his wife is wealthy parents who actually support them. Will he grow up eventually?
