Fairy tale about the adventures of four friends The Wind in the Willows is one of the most screened English fairy tales. Written by Scottish writer Kenneth Graham.
The tale tells about the life and adventures of four characters: Water Rat, Mole, Mr. Badger, Mr. Toad. Graham wrote the tale for his sickly son, who just before his 20th birthday threw himself under a train. After this event, Graham almost completely ceased literary activity.
Excellent puppet adaptation with great voice acting. The authors managed to show almost all the main episodes from the book.
The animation accurately conveys the charm of nature, home, distant lands. Graham draws a rather realistic picture of the mores of English society in the late XIX and early XX centuries.
With great humor, the character of the characters, especially the Toad, was conveyed to the plot.
