“There is no way back” is a Soviet film of the seventies about the difficult days of the Great Patriotic War, based on the work of the same name by Viktor Smirnov and Igor Bolgarin. Partisan detachment, led by Major Toporkov, carries a train with weapons to a concentration camp, where an uprising is being prepared. But the leadership of the detachment knows that a traitor is in the ranks. And so it was decided that two trains would be poisoned, one real and the other false, in order to misinform the fascists. During the operation, the soldiers lose one by one comrades. Would a plan that came at such a high cost be justified?
