Barbara was born in 1941 in the small village of Skotniki, which is located in the vicinity of Lodz. Her debut took place when the young polka was only 15 years old, in the film “Kaloshi happiness”. After that, she became a student of the Lodz Higher Theatre School, and then the Warsaw Higher School of Theatre, Film and Television, which she successfully graduated in 1967.
The first success to Barbara came in 1963, when she starred in the film “Their everyday life”. Then there was the role of priestess Kama in
Pharaoh It is based on the works of Boleslaw Prus. Another popular Polish film (although this popularity was slightly scandalous), which was shot with the participation of Barbara – “Anatomy of Love”. And at the beginning of this century, Barabara, who had never dreamed of a career as a theater actress, took to the stage of the Opera Singing Center.
Barbara married three times, but none of the marriages were successful. In her second marriage, Barbara had two children, daughter Barbara and son Ludwig. Subsequently, Barbara’s daughter tragically died in a car accident, for a long time depriving her mother of peace. The actress’ consolation is her son, who lives with her in a suburb of Warsaw. /
