It is a shame for people with similar tastes.
The film is not much different from slashers with distraught teenagers who go on vacation and meet with local “southerns”: semi-orcs, semi-cannibals. The difference is Swedish soil with pagan color. Beautiful and high-quality decorations more than pay off with the camera nature of the plot.
The film was stretched for 2 hours and 27 minutes, and there is no growing tension and heat: the joy of the pagans, the effect of a painful and incessant day in contrast to the growing (?) horror of teenagers had no effect.
Success was achieved by David Lynch in Manholland Drive (the episode with a homeless man) and Inner Empire (the episode with a neighbor). The nightmarish effect of the day is something that filmmakers of the future should definitely explore.
