Terrible.
Season 5 was already barely on its feet and barely came to an end. In six months, releasing a feature film that would continue the story was a very strange decision.
A strange languish for a Disney musical, for which there was no time or money. The songs are worse than the show. The plot is extremely short and strange, the behavior of the characters is frankly infuriating. Apparently, in order to somehow move the story (songs do not cope), the writers also had to rob the characters half of their intelligence.
The plot reveals the sad truth about Stephen’s mother, and about Stephen himself. It is shown that nonviolence in the victorious gems goes hand in hand with hypocrisy. Steven even admits it at times, openly saying that he rubbed into trust and pretended friendship only to achieve certain actions, and then go find your own friends.
This one and a half hours can only be spent.
