What’s the difference between BLM-man Jevon, who barely finished high school and just got out of prison for vandalizing monuments, and hard-working Stan, who has been working in roadside fast food for $13.5 an hour for 38 years? It would seem that for fast food companies there is no difference in these employees. As long as they work. And this work equates Stan's punctuality with Jevon's ambition, Stan's conservatism and Jevon's radicalism. Does everyone have their own truth that capital doesn’t care about? But no: the missing money will necessarily be written off as radical and black, revealing either the theme of systemic racism, or the fear of capital to nonconformists, or the responsibility of black for his less law-abiding and ideological brothers, which he takes on himself with his ideas. Each viewer will choose something of their own, which honors the film in its unobtrusive story. What, Jevon, are you talking about how black people are obese because of poor-quality food? Don't forget to talk about black crime.
